WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I dont even want to give this a star. Growing up this was my favorite fried chicken place - Ive ranted and raved about it forever to friends and family. I have a family of over 30, wed do Sunday dinners at least 6 times a year ordering a ton of chicken on the bone, jo jos coleslaw, fries etc.. The last two times I *TRIED* to eat here in the last two weeks, my order for delivery never showed up the first time, they never called, and when we called, they didnt even apologize or offer to send someone back out. This time, they sent us the wrong thing. We ordered chicken on the bone family pack and they sent us a tender pack an hour later. When we realized it was wrong, we called, explained what we ordered and what we were supposed to get. They told us we were wrong, that they did it right, and they offered no solution. After bringing up the fact that the last order placed never showed up, I was angry. They were rude, they didnt care that they messed up the order, and they wanted us to pay for their mistake! It was unbelievable. I have never so much as sent food back at a restaurant or complained to management. When they were getting the order they didnt put me on hold and they tried to convince someone there to come on and pretend to be the manager so he wouldnt find out. I got angrier. I hung up convinced Id never go back to chicken n chips. Then the manager has the gall to call back, hears our "story" and then does absolutely nothing about it. He was rude and claimed we were trying to scam him. DONT GO HERE EVER.

the food is amazing when they get your order right. however that is the only saving grace this place has. every time I have gone in to pickup food I feel like I am an inconvenience to them as they are rude and very short with their customers. always check your order before you leave or before the delivery guy leaves. they dont care if they messed up they will find a way to not make it right. not to mention the cooks look filthy all the time. I worked in food service for a decade and have seen my fare share of incompetence. this place takes the cake though.

Been going here for 20 years. (I really never choose to but my parents love it) They give you big portions......but their oil always tastes so old. They also do something weird with their jojos like put some kind of coating on them and they are never really moist and hot. They are always somewhat dry. They would be much better all natural. The onion rings are extremely greasy. Generally my fanily loves this place, but I would never tell someone to g out of their way to try this.

As far as seafood. I ordered a side of fried clams and a side of fried shrimp. Each was $15.99. The dinners had potatoes and slaw which I didnt want. The dinners were $15.99 as well. I got a handful of hard overcooked clams and 13 tiny shrimp. Thats it. So I called back and told them how disappointed I was. The rude manager said the side of shrimp is 13 . on the dinner its 10 shrimp. I will defiantly speak to a higher up.

Ill start by saying I had chicken n chips a couple years ago and was completely disappointed. Tonight my fiance talked me into getting it delivered. Im very glad I did. We ordered the fried chicken,jojos and potato skins. The chicken and the jojos were excellent. Both moist and flavorful. The skins needed more cheese but were pretty good. Ill be ordering again soon. I suggest you do too you won't be disappointed.

Chicken & Chips suck now they place is disgusting its falling apart, looks dirty, the people dont exactly look the cleanest either.. Nd when u order u get something completely different then what u asked for...ONCE OPON A TIME THEY USE TO BE GOOD NOW THEY SUCK AND RUDE SERVICE.

The chick six are a family tradition well worth passing down. They melt in your mouth. The jojos are fantastic too! This is a diamond in the "rough". Highly recommend a visit and dont mind the rooster and chicken decor. It adds to the atmosphere.

The food and portion size was better back in the day.. Not as good as it use to be.. They got cheap with the portion size.. The chicken strips are small compared to back when i was younger.. Really disappointed..
