I really like this place. Been here a couple of times even before moved to current location off old denton and frankford which is a beautiful improvement over the old one fuether down off old denton. Came for dinner one night husband and had the mixed grill was plenty for both of us. The shrimp were very good and the chicken as well. Bread was fluffy if can call flat bread fluffy lol but had a softness to it and not overdone as some places do it. Take out one night of tandori chicken breast and naan was the best. Their tandori is really done well and spiced quite a bit which i like. Juicy too. Had buffet lunch today to round out the review here. Was awesome. Dal was creamy and some of the best ever had bar none. Very thick too and not some watered down soupy mess lile other places. The chicken korma was great and the mahkani. I wasnt a fan of the beef ghost but i not a big beef eater either but was still good. The sauces here are all really superb. Again naan was excellent and broight to table by attemtive waiter. We have never really had an issue with service at this place. And its always clean. I appreciate clean very much.

I get messages from them of discounts and I came in today and they wont honor it!!! Thats ridiculous! They say that system is no more... seriously then why in the world I came here.. o I just drove an hour drive from my place to come eat here but they are not running a business here its a big Joke!!! Plus I ask for the name and number of the owner but they wont tell me.. they say to call up at the restaurant number but I dont have that much time to waste to talk to the employee first and then they will hand the phone over to the owner. Im an entrepreneur and dont like this childish act and behavior of these employees plus this idiot is going to laugh at me Seriously!!! Im really not like this who will complain and all but this review was Important!!! Dont come here Really Bad Service!!!!

Went there on Chand Raat with two guest families because there was no space at Al-Markaz. Lal-Qila was empty with only a couple inside. They quickly brought us water and pakoras to break our fast. We ordered beef seekh kababs, chicken boti, bheja fry and famous sabri nihari. Everything was okay but the nihari was tasteless. I have had their nihari before which is usually pretty good and we take home the left overs but this one was tasteless and we ended up leaving two orders as is on the table. Whats worse is the owners reaction when notified that this is how we cook all the time, we havent changed any thing and no one else has complained!!! A typical desi attitude when customers complain!!!

I have had pakistani food in dfw area for the past 23 years. In my opinion Lal qila, al markaz and barbeque tonite are the best pakistani restaurants regardless. I personally feel Lal quila is a notch up and take mughlai rich taste to another level. I have also noticed there is personal attention given to every dish cooked and served at lal quila from the chef /cook/ owner. The price is reasonable for the portions served. I think you should try it rather than take my word. Grilled items 10 out of 10 Mughlai gravys 10 out of 10 Biryani 5 out 10 Falooda mind boggling 10 out of 10 I have had 300 rs and 500 rs faloodas in Asia but nothing beats the faloodas at lal quila.

Done party at this place. One of the worst experience i ever got. The owner checks all the time how many there in party i know he want o charge according to the count but he asked infront of all guests that with loud voice that you have more guests.. He can ask that by taking us outside too. And we ordered white rice in menu. He missed that ... My most of guests are vegetarian and no choice over to eat for them. And our guests really disappointed about that. If he have been provided whatever he promised then it will be good place to throw party. And he missed several things what i mentioned in menu. Really disappointed about the owner attitude and organizing skills.

WORST experience ever... buddy of mine had a small reception there.... the owner "Nick" was so rude and condescending... the place was so over the top Bollywood... just cheaply decorated. The staff acted like they werent paid to work... and I had to ask for silverware and water... the food which was buffet style... was some of the worst indian/paki food Ive ever had. the meats were under cooked to where we took it back to Nick who simply stated. "I dont eat it... why do I care.". the chickpea curry tasted rotten. Man the food inspection people need to be called out ASAP. How are they still in business!?!?!?! Dallas....you can do so much better!

I use to go to Al Markaz, about 2 minutes away from this place, but now I go here instead. Their Chicken Tikka Masala is much more tastier, especially with the Romali Roti. I have not found anything like this bread in the area, I think they are the only ones who make it. This place is way more live, clean, and comfortable. The service is great and the owner cares for his customers. My new favorite Indian place forsure!

I was only there to pick up an order, but they were extremely disorganized. No one was greeting people as they entered. The guy sitting behind the counter was ignoring everything except getting himself a cup of coffee. I waited a full ten minutes just to be acknowledged, by someone who came in from outside. The order wasnt ready and took another 20+ minutes to be bagged up for me. Altogether an unpleasant experience.

If there was anything less than 1, I would give it, because this place deserves nothing but 0. The restaurant owners are the rudest people you can encounter! I will never ever ever visit this place! the food, AWFUL, I mean Awful is the nicest word to describe the rotten food they served us. instead of apologizing to us for the rotten food they yelled at me and my family! These people are nothing but money hoggers!

Went on a Thursday night. Food was delicious. My sister and I shared Palak Ghosht (Spinach and goat) and Chicken Tikka Masala (Chicken in a cream sauce. We had the beef samosas and Paneer Pakora (Indian cheese breaded and fried). Everything was excellent. I especially appreciated that the garlic naan was not greasy. I recommend this place for some great Indian food.

Stood at the front counter for 6 minutes, three workers made eye contact with me. No one ever greeted me, the guy at the front counter finally finished his conversation, and I approached him. He made eye contact, and turned his back walking away... I am a clean well dressed caucasian male, and I do not think I welcome here.
