A decent chain burger and shake joint that could help customers with a bit more guidance on the menu. Stopped into BURGERFI for the first time the other night after intending to go on several other occasions since its opening a few years ago. From the street the space has always struck me as cavernous, and inside it felt the same way too. Not a lot of bric brac on the walls and pleasant top 40 over the speakers was a nice draw. Waiting to order, the menu perched high above the counter left me confused. When you go to Five Guys, ordering is very didactic, taking you from burger size selection, to a panoply toppings, to fries to drink. At Shake Shack, you are given just a few already decided burger combos you can lightly modify. BURGERFI seemed to be a weird mix of both, and not for the better. There are some offered burger creations, but they dont really span out more than plain, cheese, veggie, veggie/meat combo (what?) and premium beef. Then theres a ton of topping options, but the ones that cost are mixed in with ones that dont, leaving you scratching your head while constructing. Service was quick, and the burger was actually decent if a little smallish (and under seasoned). Fries were excellent, and you have to love a place with a Coke Freestyle machine (though one machine was out of about 2/3 of the syrups). This is a chain, so suggestions might be hard to implement, but for me, having a few quick selection burgers that I wouldnt immediately think of building (bacon with pineapple, goat cheese and jalapeno) along with maybe a weekly or monthly special burger would go a long way to helping decision makers in line and setting BURGERFI apart (see Quarry Houses burger menu; a few pre determined amazing options and the ability to Frankenstein if you choose) As it is now, you can get this same burger done better at other local DTSS bars and pubs not much further away and for a lot less. But if youre catching a movie or running errands, this is worth a stop at least once.

My review of BurgerFI, I went to this location for the first time ever on 9.25.16, I had noticed it for a few months a had been meaning to check it out. BurgerFI is aesthetically pleasing in a classical American diner theme and décor with courteous and helpful staff. When going there expect to pay at least $16.00 minimum per person for the lowest priced burger, a small fountain drink, and small fries. I came in there with 10 bucks and ordered a burger, fries and small drink and the total came out to 16.xx I said hold up, lets take off the fries, I was $11.xx then I said wait a minute lets take off the drink also, the total came out to $7xx. As I was waiting I noticed a lady who came in for the first time also ( they ask you that when you approach the register and greet you) she looked around and said their prices were to high for a burger place and left ( and she wasn’t chocolate she was vanilla). I sat and waited for my burger and took it to my apt to munch on. As I was walking I was saying to myself I wonder if the cow this burger comes from walks on water, plays the piano and sings frank Sinatra for you with the price of $15-$20 for a burger meal? The burger was decent but I don’t care to be in that price range for burger meal. If you like the place and don’t mind spending the $$$ for a single person and double that for a date bon appetite.

Crispy Onion Rings $6 (4/5 NOMs) Put a ring on it! No burger can go without some onion rings and these are perfect nomnom. Order up this enormous larger then life rings. Some of them are as big as my head, and trust me one size does not fit all here. Crispy lightly breaded on the outside and soft on the inside. They didnt taste oily at all which made them even better. You get so much with your order that even a hungry nomster like me can barely finish. Make sure to bring a friend to share these goodies Breakfast All Day Burger $8 (4/5 NOMs) Only thing better then breakfast is breakfast burger. Get ready to unhinge your jaw to bite into this tower of burger goodness. Burger that can beat any breakfast place with amazing combination of american cheese, bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, grilled onions and hash browns. Each bite will get you an explosion of flavors. Pretty much anything that is breakfast is packed inside. Bread buns were excellent, very light and soft with slight sweet flavor. Almost like there was a little bit of sugar spindled on top. With so much going on, you would think some flavors would get overpowered, but no, with every bite you could taste each yummy thing. One messy burger, each bite might just result in messy all over. You jus have to try it.

Burger Fi in Silver Springs beats 5 Guys in every way, although it is not quite as good as Good Stuff Eatery. I ordered the Breakfast All Day (BAD) Burger, a large fries, and a Coffee Mocha Shake. The burger was quite delicious, but could have used a little bit more, or thicker bacon. The maple syrup flavor wasn’t noticeable, but did give it a hint of sweetness. It was juicy, and an appropriate portion size. The large fries could easily feed two people and they were a solid offering. Crispy, well seasoned, and hot. As for the shake, it wasn’t impressive. It tasted, and had a similar presentation to Arby’s Jamocha shake. Save yourself a couple bucks and just get a Coke. Great burger, nice environment, good service. I would go back if I was in the area, and craving a burger.

The fries were pretty good, and the staff was friendly and prompt. However, value for money is way out of whack. I got a single burger with a few toppings, some reg fries, and a smallish fountain drink cup to fill with what I wanted. $15!!! Thats nuts, even for Silver Spring. The burger was only so-so, looked like a smashed patty, which can be good, but was only average. The bun was clearly something like a Martins potato bun that you would buy at the grocery store. Well, it had "BurgerFi" burned into it, so I guess that makes it worth the $7. And $2.77 for a small fountain soda??? Not even close to good enough to be paying that kind of money!

I didnt like anything about my experience. I called ahead to place an order for pick up and asked for the wait time. Upon arrival the cashier, Jose L, seemed very incompetent for a job in food service. I mentioned how I work in the area and I still didnt receive my 10% discount and he didnt want to give me a refund and all I receieved was a "sorry bout it." My order took longer than the time given to me over the phone (by 15 minutes or so) then once my order was ready no one gave it to me. I had to interrupt someone elses order because my food was sitting out and getting cold. I received no apologies. Horrible service. Nothing special.

This place is a big gyp... I ordered a hot dog with cheese and chili and a small soda... it came to almost $10 and the hot dog was tiny with little cheese and chili.... it was as big as my 3rd finger and I felt like showing the employees that 3rd finger.... I also looked at the hamburgers that people ordered and I cant believe anyone would be satisfied with them - nothing to them..... I certainly wouldnt go back and I advise anyone thinking of spending money here to walk right out.....I wont even give this place a one star but inorder to post my review, I have to give it the one star ......Ron
