i was a long time patron until today. This place is under new management. The smiling guy you see in the pictures in yelp is confirmed to be no longer working there. I had the most horrific experience. I walk in and the indians in front of were asked if they wanted beef or chicken in their plate. I sat down and when i asked for chicken they said its an extra charge so i stuck with beef. The portions are about 30% less than what it was before. Even the metal bowl they serve it in is smaller. I then went to go pay and they tried to charge me four dollars more. I pointed at the menu price taped in front of both of us at the counter. They told me I am being charged bc of the extra sides i requested. You will be charged more for extra sides when you dine in. Ultimately, they charged me the price on the menu. It gets worse. I left my phone there and when i got home i checked online using my phone tracking app and it said it was still there. I drove back and the four ppl that were in the back was now just one person. I asked him for my phone i told him i tracked it. he said hell call his son. They spoke and the guy on the phone says no phone was found. It gets worse i told him id like to call my phone again so i got his phone and called my phone. Then i checked his call history and called the guy he spoke to but it called his wife. HE FAKED A CONVERSATION ABOUT NOT FINDING A PHONE. I confronted him and he began to dig thru the trashcan. He mustve felt bad. I now have to buy a new phone bc the new management STOLE MY PHONE. Before I left I pointed at a dead, one inch ROACH dead right below the front counter. He picked it up with his hands. Sorry but there are too many better options than this place where you get more variety for the same price. WHAT KIND OF PLACE STEALS YOUR PHONE? smaller portions, less spices now, and vegetables replaced with cabbage. im done with this gas station food.

I have to start by saying. This is not the first time I have eaten Indian food at a restaurant or someones home. But this is by far the worst I have ever experienced. My plate which I recognize was probably a mistake, had beef in it. All the flavors were good but the beef itself was nothing be bone chunks with slivers of meat attached to them. I do not think I would give them a second chance. I wish there was a lower rating then POOR because that is what I want to use to rate this place. If you try it, go there at your own risk and maybe ask how the food should be eaten before you actually eat it. Save your self some surprise bones in your mouth.

Awesome place to have some perfect kerala cuisine. Next thing I miss out after moving out of Dallas. I always try to have a meal from here to quench my hunger of visiting home whenever I come here. It is not a traditional restaurant setup so dont turn back looking at the place where it is located. Little hard to find for first timers. one star goes down for that. Food tastes aunthentic enough which is what really matters food lovers.

May not be a 5 star for ambience, but the food is not only yummy its also clean and healthy not laden with coconut oil like other kerala restaurant I tried recently. They make it taste like homemade kerala food without overdoing the spices or oil. And the prices are reasonable. If your not happy sitting there carry it home, coz the food is so so worth it!

Normally I don’t post any reviews, but this place definitely needs one. I am a regular customer here. They provide excellent Kerala Food I ever tasted outside my home. I will recommend this restaurant to anybody else. And I find the price also very reasonable. Please note that it’s a take away place. Manoj

Awesome authentic Kerala food !!! Tried their Kerala plate and parata with chicken/beef option. The best, when compared to all other restaurants that we had visited so far. More than 30 miles away from our home, but its worth driving :) Took carry out option, nice packing and more than enough quantity.

This used to be my go to place for Kerala style food for a long time .Now there are more places like this around Dallas . I like the lunch plate with beef fry. The coconut chutney is yummy. The food tastes awesome one day, but then tastes awful next visit. I tried biriyani once, I didnt like it.

We ordered food for our sons birthday party. The food was exceptional and service was awesome.Everyone liked Banana Fry, Kappa , Fish Curry, Chicken Curry and Fried rice.They provided pickle and salad with Fried rice.Fried rice had the right amount of oil and was excellent.

Cuisine tried : Kerala meal( non veg), content rice avial, thoran, rasam, fish curry, beef roast, injhi pulee, payasam, pickle, papaddam. It was really good. Porrota and beef roast : good The place is small inside a gas station. The prices comparitvely on lower side.

I had bad experiences with Indian food. They are made cheaply and priced outrageously with a "exotic" tag on each meal. Kerala Kitchen is an exception. Great prices and great food. Catering and to go is encouraged but, I saw 8 people eating there today.

Authentic Kerala food, been to many Kerala food places in Dallas. This is the only place i found who maintain the quality of food always. I love the beef fry and porotta and kerala meals with fish fry.
