Okay, so for mothers day my family and i decided we would like to go and sit down and enjoy a nice breakfast, and most of use being a fan of ihop voted on going there to eat, and how disappointing it was. So first off after we waited 25 minutes for a table (wich was understandable we were a party of 14 and they were fairly busy) we were walked to the back of the restaurant, where they had put together 3 tabled to accommodate us, where we than ordered our drinks and waited to order our food next. This is where it starts to get a little annoying, after our drinks were brought out it was a full thirty minutes until our waitress even came back to the table to see if we were okay and it wasnt even our waitress it was other waiter who when we asked if he could help basically said that isnt his job and walked off. We finally had to grab another waiter just to get our drinks refiled and our food wasnt even ready. After aproxemently 45 minutes our food was finally being brought to the table however it was not all of our food it was a random assortments of our orders and some of the orders werent even complete, and the icing on top of the cake was that a fairly large portion of our orders where cold. Finally after 1 whole hour all the food made its way to the table and that was after a multitude of mistaken orders and incorrect plates, and even then most of the recently brought out food was cold. After we had enough we got the assistant store manager to see what he could do about the terrible service and he basically brushed it off as nothing were wrong refusing to do anything, in no way what so ever did he ack like an assistant store manager pushing the problem onto another waiter and doing nothing himself. Finally after the rediculous amount of trouble we contacted the store manger who with a bit a reluctance helped us and finally seem to resolve everything with the help of yet another waiter that was not our own. Lastly after all the problems and paying for the full meal after a large portion was left uneaten because of the tempurter we left the restaurant felling dissatisfied and completely frustrated we all stated that we were in fact never coming back to this restaurant, the staff as well as the management was utterly incompetent the only redeming facter seemed to be that some of the wait staff where capable, more capable than the management it seemed. Bottom line we are never going back and I have never been more dissapointed in ihop.

We were seated in good time, there was no wait. Our waitress arrived, she was great at first. She got our order and then disappeared. One of my friends ordered the same thing I did (crepes). We got half of the order delivered to us. Which were the eggs and hash, but no crepes. She said they are making them fresh and will come out shortly. We both finished our eggs and hash and still no crepes. 10 minutes after we were done we received them. Mine looked fine, nice and folded, but they skimped on the topping. My friends looked horrrible. They were undercooked, mushy, not folded.. like goo on a plate, yet she had a lot of fruit topping on hers. I guess to hide the horrible looking crepes. They were still raw. So we asked to take hers back and get pancakes instead. Her fork was on the plate that we asked to remove so we asked for a new fork to a different waitress. She was nice when we asked for it. She quickly went to go get it, but as soon as she turned around to go toward us she completely forgot the table that asked her for the fork. Im just observing to see if she recognized me. She cant find us and says "who asked me for a stupid fork?" Outloud. My friends and I were in shock/surprised she said that. I obviously said "I did". She gave it to be without apologizing, as if she never said anything wrong and went about her way. We get the pancakes for my friend. Our waitress apologize for the crepes, but she should have seen the plating was horrible and she shouldnt have taken them out Im the first place. Anywho, she must have felt embarrassed after that. We didnt see her until the checks. We wanted to leave asap, but she was nowhere to be found. Overall bad experience and we will definitely not be going back.

This IHOP is top-notch, with delicious food served fast, by a kind & courteous staff who deliver EXCELLENT service. IHOP has really done a great job to offer variety on their menu, and they have a great selection for folks who follow a healthy diet. Whether you are the type who wants extra bacon with your bacon, or you prefer fresh fruit with your egg-white omelet, IHOP has you covered. I cannot say enough about the service at the IHOP in Allen. This weekend I enjoyed an AWESOME breakfast, and the service was fast, friendly, and efficient. I expected them to take good care of us, and they exceeded my expectations. When I left the restaurant, I discovered my car had broken down and would NOT move out of its parking space. While I scrambled frantically to resolve the issue, I checked in with the manager to explain the situation. He was professional and courteous, and was kind enough to allow plenty of time for me to get a mobile mechanic out, and then a tow truck. He thanked me for communicating, reassured me my car would be safe until I got the issue resolved, and even offered me refreshing beverage in a go-cup while I waited for service to my vehicle. An AWESOME demonstration of customer-focused vision. I was so pleased with their kindness and courteous service, and the delicious menu, that I am happy to recommend IHOP in Allen, TX to anyone who wants great food, great service, and an overall great dining experience. Food was amazing, and came out quickly, HOWEVER the particular server I had was really not in a good mood and decided to take it out on me. I understand everyone has bad days, but this server misheard my order wrong, twice, which is forgivable it was fairly noisy, and I work in food so i know what its like. The issue is that when we finally had it clear what I wanted, and when she brought out something that I was 100% certain I did not ask for, rather than replacing it, she decided to argue with me, explain how she knows she heard me right, and had the nerve to cut me off and say "Look I can get you something different, but I just want you to know that I heard you correctly and youre the one in the wrong here". Her rudeness tainted my entire experience there and I felt like it was almost a waste of money since I had a hard time getting over her rudeness and had difficulty enjoying my meal. I hope that this was just that one server on that one day, because that really sucked, especially since when I told the manager he apathetically said he would take care of it, giving off the feeling that I was being a burden to him by wasting his time. Sorry for the rant, just sucked to go out to eat and get treated like that.
