Another "attempt" at italian food. Had heard from work people that the food was good and since its right around the corner, we went. Unfortunatly this is just another american italian restuarant, with no real italian dishes. Yes you have the typical chix parm, and stuffed shells, sole and all the others. And they are good taste wise. I was just hpeing for some authentic italian food, instead of a plate piles with pasta and marinera sauce with a peice of meat, and not a large peice either. I miss italian food, like chix and olives, where pasta is a starter and is smothered in quality oil and garlic and parmasean chease, and isnt a whole pound of pasta just to fill you up. And then your main course comes and its a whole plate of chicken cooked perfectly with olives and a side of squid salad. Its a shame th at we all settle for food like this, its giving our ancestors a bad name, my grandmother would be so dissapointed.

Was greeted by a greasy menu. Given gluten free pasta instead of regular that had several clumps stuck together and given cold. Had to toss it to warm up the top portion. Service was good but wouldnt recommend the food. Owner hung out the kitchen window like there was nothing to do. Dont plan on goi g back. The menu was old school basic. Nothing exciting.

Food was so good! The restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly! We got a hot order of French fries and my waitress was so considerate and kept the hot food away from the baby. She was so nice! Everyone we had contact with was so kind, smiling and pleasant. GREAT place for families!

Yes Sue was great didnt have the pleasure of meeting Allie took your advice nd ate in the dinning room ordered chicken scarpariello it was delicious but portion size not so good my fiancé had stuffed sole nd he says thumbs up we will def eat here again because the value was awesome!!!!!

Hands down our favorite Italian restaurant...Food is the best, bread and oil is delicious, best Calimari Ive ever had and their stuffed Chicken Gorgonzola would be my last meal if I knew I was going to die.. 6 stars if possible...

The food and service are fantastic... Just had a Veggie Calzone and Stuffed Mushrooms.. Food was to die for... Recommend that you take your lady or family for a great night out.. Or even by yourself.. lol

"Meriden Girls" (16 of us) lunched at Avantis yesterday. They had our tables set up and ready for us. Kayla was our primary server and she was awesome. Food was delish!!! Well be back...

Food is incredible but the bartender, Ally, is so rude to her customers! Dont eat at the bar. Go for the restaurant area. You will find kinder waiters.
