First lady at the register was the rudest person I have ever seen in a server position. A couple was at the register trying to order, and the lady could not understand what he was trying to say. He resorted to pointing, to which she replied, with "You want that, a smoked sausage taco?" "Well why didnt you just say it?!" At this point, other customers started to catch on to what was going on. One gentlemen and myself asked to speak to the manager, to which she replied "The manager is busy, what do you want to eat?" She then physically threw the couples change back at them and told us how rude we all were. Eventually the manager came over and asked the lady to step away, the lady grabbed her stuff and walked outside. The manager then took over the register. The rest of our visit went better, as it typically does at Taco Cabana. The manager also gave those of us in line a discount on our orders. I hope that TC corporate will catch news of this and deal with it swiftly. Id hate to have to find a new spot for my favorite tacos!

I was not impressed with the service here. For some reason the folks behind the counter decided to stop bringing food out to the tables. Ok, whatever. But this decision was apparently made after I placed my order and was dispatched to my table with a table marker and instructions to wait for my food to be brought to me. After waiting for 15 minutes I started to suspect foul play and went to the counter to investigate. I waited a few more minutes because they were all apparently too busy to field questions either. When I finally managed to get some face time with the pit boss, she told me I should have come to get my own food. No apology, no explanation. The food itself was fine, just be prepared to go on a scavenger hunt for it if they are busy. Oh, by the way- in this particular case, there were a total of 3 tables filled.

Well I knew it was going to be bad when me and my family of 6 walked in and they looked at us like we were intruding ignored us the 1st 5 minutes. One employee was busy texting the rest just looked upset we came in. Finally we order and went to salsa board and was a mess. My husband NEVER complains and suggested I take a pic and send it to their home office. My daughter asked for fresh salsa and one employee told her she would fill it when she got ready. My grand kids went to the rest room and would not even use the facility. Now thats coming from a 7 and 9 year old. Not good! Now we traveled 5 hours to get here and its late and only thing open .if there was another option open we sure would not be staying and these kids are starving. I will just be thankful we leave without food poisoning

Well; where do I begin. Is it even worth reviewing? Does corporate even listen? Its so sad that business like this is still open. Lack of customer service. The place was lacking staff help and the place needed a cleaning. Long wait for my food. Lady working at the time of service said she was working 18 hours straight due to no staff. So it all starts with great Leaders and thats what lacking for this place. They hire people that have no leadership skills and have no idea what to do or care less for the place. We had no choice because majority of the restraunts were closed. Hopefully one day someone from corporate will listen,.,

This time they forgot to give me my guacamole & sour cream that came with my beef fajita nachos! God knows...Thats completely unacceptable! My family n I were on our way back to Houston after a nice weekend there. I cuda been on the road without my condiments lol. Otherwise pretty good place to get your tex-mex. Just make sure you check you got everything you paid for. Years ago I went there (as a tourist again) and the guy n girl were fighting over serving me. They were like "I got her." No. I had her first". "No u didnt. I had her first." Lol. I felt pretty special!

The experience was rocky. 6/10 The problem was absolutely not the food. The food was amazing, all of it was delicious. It wasnt crowded, it was clean, food was fresh in the bar. Problem is the front desk employee was as rude as you could possibly get. She snatched the card from my hand, and was quick to ram it back so she could continue whatever it was that she was doing. She was also very rude when calling our number when I questioned if it was our number she called.

5/3/16 Ive never been to this franchise and now never will. Manager on duty didnt want to answer one simple question re the tacos. I was the only customer in the place so it wasnt like she was short of time. I can see why I was alone. After basically forcing an answer out of her she just walked away and yelled to an employee in the back room to come and take my order. The employee responded with "I dont take no orders". I headed for the door. They want 15 bucks an hour?

If you have been to Taco Cabana cafes before, you know what to expect. It is a Tex-Mex, half cafe and half drive-through. This spot in Galveston is worth visiting if this is what you are looking for. The interior is new (Houston has older ones), the buffet table has 3-4 kinds of fresh salsa, the patio is nice (the chairs are a little rusty but its OK). I would recommend it to anyone.

The lady in the front was rude and she waited until more people come in and says it will be a 30 to 40 minute wait and was rude about it after there was people standing there ! Its nasty in that kitchen area ! They should close this place down ! It was dead in there drive through was being served like clock work

Food took an hour and thirty minutes, one of the employees was eating food in front of the customers, food was falling out her mouth and she proceeds to wipe her mouth with her hand and then go and touch food without washing her hands, it was an horrible experience and I probably wont be back for awhile, if I knew the employee number I would call the 1800 number, so disappointed

We almost walked out because no one came to take our order. Saw a whole tray tortillas fall on the floor which was filthy. One lady burned alot of eggs. When we got our food it smelled funny as if it were mixed with spoiled food. Plus they got our order wrong. A family walked out after us. It was terrible. I wish we hadnt had wasted our money and time here.

I LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this Taco Cabana! Whenever I take my son to Moody Gardens or the Beach we eat here. The food is hot and fresh! Plus I always feel welcome by the staff they know us by name. I guess that’s what happens when you go there so often. I have been going to this location for about four years and I will continue to be a patron of Taco Cabana.
