Not please at all. My boyfriend and I walked in and were welcomed very nicely. We had never been there before since we are from Virginia, and the way to restaurant is set up is when you walk in you have to follow the walkway to the counter because the dining area is blocked off, and so we assumed to walk to the counter to order. Stood at the counter for 6 minutes, looked at the menu figured out what we wanted, only to be told if we were planning on dining in we needed to have a seat and someone would be with us shortly. Mind you, there were numerous employees just standing around staring at us as we were waiting to be helped at the counter. At this time, the restaurant has 2 occupied tables, so its not busy at all. So we find a seat and it takes 4 minutes for our waiter to approach our table. It has been about 10 minutes at this point and no order has been placed. We order drinks and our appetizer and food. We got our drinks. The only time the waiter came to our table, was to bring our food. Never checked on us and my boyfriends drink was empty until the pizza came! Oh, and the first bite I go to take of my pizza, theres a hair!!! We decided it was time to go and my boyfriend asked for a box. The waiter took it back to the kitchen and the pizza didnt return for another 5 minutes. My boyfriend saw him on the phone. You arent supposed to take a customers food from the table to box it, you box it in front of them at the table. I will never return. We picked this place because of the good reviews. I dont know if we just went during a rough shift or if these reviews are somehow biased, but I will never return to Surfside Beach Pizza.

Absolutely Marvelous... Me and My Wife tried for a half hour to decide where to eat in Surfside Beach SC. We finally settled on Surside Beach Pizza; My decision as my wife doesnt really like pizza (Can you say UNAMERICAN?) . We were greeted by very nice staff, who helped us decide what to order. Did I mention, MY WIFE DOSENT LIKE PIZZA...But she ordered pizza and I a Stromboli. I consider myself to be a connoisseur of them as I have eaten them all over the country. This was my second time visiting this Establishment, but not my last. Thanks Girls for the enjoyable experience and wonderful food and guess what? I think my wife likes Pizza or at least pizza at Surfside Pizza in none other than Surside Beach South Carolina. We will be back... Very Soon

I have been going here since they opened. The pizza and food are the best you can get in the grand strand. Some people say the pizza is just o.k., well I dont know where they live, but trust me, for this Jersey raised woman, this is as good as it gets in the south. Everything I have ever eaten here has been amazing. I am soo happy to have this place here. The staff is always wonderful, everyone of them. The food is always great. I have never left here unhappy with anything. And that says a lot in this area where most restaurants are "tourist traps". and you rarely leave a restaurant pleased with your meal, service and the price. The prices here are very reasonable for this area and I will return here again and again!

Fantastic experience. Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff, great food, large variety, excellent prices. All three people in my party are picky eaters, and one has dietary restrictions, so we had lots of questions about the menu. Heidi took time to answer our questions, as well as making us feel welcome and like we were her most important customers of the day. We sampled pizza, pasta, desserts, salads, and bread - all are delicious, and a great value - we averaged $14 per person before tip, but keep in mind that included dessert. Besides, there were members of the local fire department eating there as well - and they know all the best places to eat, so that says a lot.

My husband and I are transplanted in GA from NY and we vacation here in Myrtle Beach each year. We just found Surfside Pizza this week, ate here Wednesday night and again tonight. Tonight we ordered a regular pie with mushroom, onion and peppers... awesome again!!! And we got an eggplant Parmesan hero... fantastic!!! You must visit this establishment, but be warned, either go to an early or late lunch or an early or late dinner... the secret is out this place is can get mobbed... but so worth the wait!

This is a small "hole in the wall" restaurant. They were able to pull together some tables for our large group. The service is great - a very friendly, relaxed feel. The prices are very reasonable. Portion size large - we took home doggy bags. The food - outstanding. We had everything from mozzarella sticks, garlic bread w/cheese, pizza, zones, Stromboli, ravioli, stuffed pizza, & shrimp scampi. This is a great little gem for a real Italian meal. We were all glad to have found it.

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago and already went back on my second vacation! I ordered a pizza with the works. Very delicious. The mushrooms werent as good as I would have liked though, almost canned quality. The garlic cheese bread is delicious. Its a loaf with garlic and seasonings covered with melted cheese. I also tried the chicken alfredo. It was very creamy and delicious! Good price for what you get.

Looking for a pizzeria for dinner. Had no recommendations at all. Read reviews and distance from campground. Got there and very busy and crowded. Figured must be good. Family of 4 we were seated approximately 30 minutes and wait staff was really humping. Ordered 2 pizzas and childs spaghetti. Omg the pizza is amazing. . Definitely coming back and recommend!! 5 star for sure

We have been looking for Pizza in Surfside Beach area for years. Today we found this place based on other peoples reviews. We had a large pizza with toppings and eggplant rollatini. As a New York transplant to the South, we have been longing for real pizza. We loved both dishes and the service is outstanding. Everything looked great. Highly recommended.

This is the best Italian food I have found in the Myrtle Beach area since I moved here from New York 17 years ago. Benny & Lisa Muto, as well as their children and staff are very lovely, friendly people. My family enjoys going to Surfside Beach Pizza for lunch and dinner several times a month. If you havent been there, go!!!! I know that you will enjoy it.

I loved this place!!!!!! Im NC and Ive never tasted food this delicious(red lobster is put to shame) I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is not from SC and is here on vacation or anyone who lives here. The staff is super friendly and it is a really friendly environment and I wish every place would be like this restaurant.

We were in town for vaca and read good reviews so decided to try it. Got takeout pizza and garlic knots. Pizza was very good, lots of toppings! Only thing that could have been better was the amount of sauce, we only got the sauce taste up near the crust. But my husband, 5 kids and me all enjoyed our meal very much!
