Hug-Hes Cafe is at a new location. I dont know what the other location was like, but I was immediately in love when I walked in the door. The atmosphere and decor was SO cute and trendy (I want to redecorate my whole apartment to match!). The servers and other staff were helpful and friendly. It was very comfortable and not the over-the-top, in-your-face kind of service. Then came the food! Oh boy! Everything we got had the best flavor and was very fresh. My husband loved his Hawaiian Burger (the lunch special) and said it really puts Carls Jr.s Teriyaki Burger to shame. The turkey avocado sandwich and steak fries were really tasty. The buffalo fries and pasta salad are a must-try. We shared a sugar cookie and its not hard to understand how it became the best in the state. Each bite of the meal was my new favorite bite. Its a little bit of a drive from where we are, but well definitely be going back soon and often!

I love this little gem in Ogden, super cute atmosphere and a drive-through window if you want a gourmet lunch to take out. Their pasta salads are amazing, however I minus one star because on several occasions they have put bacon in my salad when I have specifically told them to leave it out because I do not eat meat. A few times I drove back to my house and had to go all the way back to the restaurant to return the food but Ive learned to just give it a little check before I leave now. Their homemade bread and fruit butter is amazing!

My husband and I just ate here because I had a great experience years ago. The reviews here are true, slow service, high prices, and mediocre food. The thing that disappointed me the most was the lack of cleanliness. When the server walked us into the dining area, all the booths were dirty, and there was only one couple in there! They hastily wiped it off. There was food on the floor in random places, and it really made me wonder about the food. Sorry Hug-Hes, I wont be returning either unless there are big changes!

We really like this place- especially for take-out. The Mexican club wrap is super good and you cant beat the beer bread. They offer an array of seriously yummy baked goods and Id be a horrible person if I didnt tell you that you havent lived until youve had one of their peanut butter bars. Listen to what I just said...YOU HAVENT LIVED UNTIL YOUVE HAD ONE OF THEIR PEANUT BUTTER BARS. Youre welcome.

My husband and I had an excellent lunch today! My husband had the bleu cheese bacon burger and I had the french dip with au jus. Service was amazing, it was actually my favorite thing about this place. I mean the food was really good, but the fact that the service was so quick with our food and drinks. All our food came out hot and fresh and delicious! Thank you for such a great meal!

I love the food and love the people. My husband works here in Syracuse and they are like family.They look after each other from what ive seen. The wings and fried mushrooms are the best i have ever had and the ranch is amazing if i could eat those three things all the time i would be in heaven. Keep up the great job you guys i couldnt ask for a better place for my husband to work.

The food was incredible. I have returned many times. My favorite is the Chicken Alfredo. My wife & I are on a tight budget, so we split the dinner, which included two sides. It fills us up to the brim. I have asked for extra bread and some melted cheese on my veggies. So far they have never charged me extra. Two of us ate our fill and $20 covered the bill AND a generous tip.

Really great food and totally worth it! Service is just super slow, Ive been multiple times and the story is always the same. I just wanted normal butter. Our waiter was a complete idiot and laughed when he didnt get our sides for us and honestly ruined our meal. If you get the guy with the man bun make sure to ask for someone els.

This places Italian Cream Sodas are 32 oz and theyre under $2! Best deal around, plus they taste better than anywhere else Ive gotten them. All their food is 5 star restaurant quality. Any negative reviews of this place should be set aside, cause you need to treat yourself to eating here! We come here all the time!

Our waiter was very prompt and courteous. He was a pleasure to work with. The prime rib sandwich was pretty good but I had some very tough grissly parts. It turned me off to the sandwich as a whole. The bun was soft and delightful. The cauliflower was on the salty side but cooked well.

Got the French Dip with Buffalo fries. Fries were amaxing!! The best ones are crisp, almost like a chip but soooo much better! The sandwich was good, but I learned you have to ask for cheese, it doesnt just come with it... My bad. The aujs was good, not too salty, and great flavor!

Weve eaten here for dinner a few times and a good friend ordered lunch to be delivered for us once. The food is always excellent and the service is good. One of the best places to eat in Ogden. Dont let the fast casual decor fool you. The food is great. Highly recommended.

This is a quirky little cafe with a few hidden gems in my opinion. The smoked chicken salad simple but really great. Can definitely be split by two. The beer bread is also really great. The rest of the menu is still good, but not as good as the chicken salad.

Food was ok. Nothing special and portions were small comparatively to other places for the same price. Outside patio was nice. Hardly anyone here during lunch on a Monday. Once our server got paid she never came back to check on us.

I love this place! The customer service is great and the place gives a very homely warmth. The food quality is great and I would recommend getting a sugar cookie, best in Utah and a great way to end the meal.

I love this place but I always wonder why sometimes Im able to order fried green beans as a side with my meal and sometimes they tell me theyve never heard of it being done. Its a bit frustrating.
