Quiet and unassuming, but good portions and tasty. We visited quite late on a Saturday night. We were the only customers, being so close to closing time. The chef was sitting outside, waiting for anyone to fee. Like most diners, the decor was quite dated. In 10 more years it will be stylishly retro as a diner classicly is. For now, it was just out of touch, with a tacky feel. There was a damp and old smell to the place, as if people did not traffic the place enough to keep a healthy flow of air moving through the place. That also seemed to lend to the late night atmosphere. We did not hold high hopes for our meals, what with the place having a creepy zombie-movie feel. We were more than pleasantly surprised to be greeted with tasty, well-proportioned fare of above par diner quality. We ordered pancakes, scrambled eggs, cheesburger platter, grilled cheese platter and the italian hoagie platter. The short stack of pancakes were plate-size, fluffy and delish. The french fries on everyones plates were perfectly cooked - not refried after sitting there, not overcooked due to distraction and not undercooked due to poor timing. Goldlilocks would have found them, just right. The grilled cheese was spot on golden and crisp. The cheeseburger deluxe came with bacon which was a pleasant surprise and did the trick. The italian hoagie was HUGE. Well chock-full of deli meats, perfectly seasoned with fresh, crispy veg and tangy banana peppers on a fresh roll. It was delightful, with enough for a meal the next day. We had lowered our expectations due to first impression...but the chef and front man made sure we did not leave unsatisfied.

I just finished working at the diner for 1 day and a half. I am a forty year old female who is taking care of her husband who is dying of cancer. I have been a socail worker for 15 years and always worked part-time in the resturant business for 15 years. The first morning I came to work I said good morning she gave me this look of distain I have never experienced. She called me stupid all day long. Grit her teeth at you like an animal. Screamed at everyone who worked there. Banged things. There was a wonderful and hard working waitress that I was paired with the first day. She was the best waitress I ever have seen clean fast but most important took care of the customers FIRST no matter what the woman said her customers were first. I left there with such hurt that someone could treat fellow human beings like that. I dont care if your the janitor or the ceo we all work togather for the good of the company. My second day on the job 7am in the morning same thing I said good morning and the grunts began. The last straw was her saying to a customer "stupid is going to wait on you" all morning she would make comments to customers how this waitress was so dumb this one was so stupid I cannto believe people would come back there hearing this! Dont know how the food is never did get a chance to taste it I had no appetite working there. Please if you must go there tip the servers well they really put up with some unatural abuse

The worst dining experience of my life. I ordered prime rib, it came out well overdone. A replacement "managers special" dish of ribs and chicken was delivered so burnt that the cook attempted to cover up the carbon with a heavy slathering of barbecue sauce. When the burnt food was brought to the attention of the manager, he questioned whether it actually was burnt until I demonstrated my inability to cut the meat with a steak knife. As a result my "dinner" consisted of salad, soup, vegetables, a few distasteful forkfuls of overcooked and burnt meat, and desert. My bill for this inedible main course was reduced by $2. The manager actually laughed as I walked out the door. Stay out of this place, its a disaster.

The food was delicious. It was a 4 course meal at a reasonable price. I mean, I had soup, salad, surf & turf and cheesecake for dessert. I am not ashamed to say that I ate it all! Then on the way out I saw something that I wasnt quite sure what it was so I asked the young man that was behind the register what it was and he said it was Turkish Baklava. I told him I was still wasnt quite sure what it was and he said it was a desert and if I would like to try some. He gave me one for free and I fell in love with it! We ended up taking some home and again Im not ashamed to say that some of it did not make it home from the car ride. I cannot wait to go back there again!

This was our first time eating here, just passing through this town and stopped in for breakfast. The prices were very reasonable for the large portions we received. The French Toast was delicious and my husband was very happy with his biscuits and gravy. The place was not very busy and we received our food quickly. If were ever in the area again, um sure well be stopping in again.

Waitress was professional and friendly. The food arrived promptly. It was great, from the salad to the dessert. The only problem I had was the maryland crab cake should not be called Maryland at all let alone a crab cake. Growing up on real Maryland crab cakes, that one was a disgrace. No crab, not even old bay. Would visit again but skip any seafood.

Ive eaten there several times, even brought back food for co workers because it was so good and the portions are huge. I also took my family there. The food is fresh and delicious. You really get a lot for your money. The staff is friendly and the ambiance is refreshing. 5 stars every time. :)

Great customer service terrible food . I ordered buffalo wings and the wing were so tuff it was impossible to pull apart I do not recommend this place to anyone based on the quality of the food. However I will say that I was treated very nice and it was a pleasant atmosphere

This diner is great. The decor is totally outdated and I love it for that, but besides that they are really well priced for the amount of food that you get and they even give you complimentary wine with your dinner! How nice :)

I have been here a few times in the past year, and it was just okay but today the food was amazing! I asked the waitress if they have a new cook and she said yes, definitely keep him!!

I ordered a salad, and the waitress brought me out a plate full of mayo turkey with huge pepper slices all around it. I just looked at her, because on whose planet is that a salad?
