Absolutely terrible! My girlfriend and I decided to try this place after I saw an ad in the paper advertising new ownership and 25% off the check. This wouldnt have been worth it if they offered 75% off. We had high hopes for a good meal when we entered. The decor is nice and the place is clean, thats about the only positive. Our waitress seemed decent at first, but quickly revealed herself to be uninterested in providing even average customer service. After returning with our drink orders she asked if we were interested in know what the specials, soups, and sides were. Rather than telling us she just handed us post it notes with them on it and walked away. It took at least 25 minutes for our appetizer to come out, which was the wrong appetizer. Our waitress was unapologetic, preferring to complain to us that the cook was stupid. It took another ten minutes for my girlfriends snapper soup to come out. The soup was bland and heavily starched. Our correct appetizer, boneless wings, came out ten minutes after the soup. They tasted good, but at $7.99 for 8 chicken popper sided pieces they were hardly worth it. At no point was our waitress apologetic about the extremely slow service. Our entrees finally came out fifteen minutes after we had finished the appetizer. My girlfriend had ordered the fish and chips. They were served with two large, greasy onion rings on top. The actual fried fish look like they had been made from trimmings of a larger cut of fish. My girlfriend described them as dry fish sticks. I ate a few and can say Ive had better seafood from frozen supermarket brands. The steak fries served with them were average. It also came with a side of corn and mashed potatoes. The corn was average, but the mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant and had no sort of seasoning. I had ordered the special, honey dipped fried chicken. It looked like it had been cooked days before and microwaved. It was barely warm and did not smell like there was any honey on it at all. I decided not to try it and sent it back. When I sent it back I asked the waitress for a refill on my water and a menu to order something else. The waitress had checked out at this point and was not at all apologetic about the quality of the food, nor was she attempting to fix anything. It took five minutes to get a menu. The waitress did not return for another ten minutes to take my order. At that point I was ready to leave. I told her to bring us the check as well as the water I asked for fifteen minutes prior. We were not the only people to have problems. A family behind us received a pork chop that was mostly gristle and was burnt. A couple next to us had ordered a steak and pork chops. Their steak was cold and the pork chops were raw. This diner is a complete mess of a business. The service is slow, the food is awful, and the staff dont seem to care. Dont waste your time or money here. There are plenty of other quality diners in the area.

I have eatin food from here before but just one of the 3 breakfast specials. I guess my luck ran out. I had some time before my daughter had to go to school so we stopped in to eat she got one of the specials (so obviously it was good) and I got what I thought would be chipped beef. I had no other taste the just flour and tiny bits of beef (almost looked like large pieces of pepper but red) and asked for well done home fries. Well as you guessed it they were not done just barely browned. As most places do unless you ask for well done. At the end of the meal I asked for a box for my daughters french toast and the waitress asked if I needed a box for my untouched plate of food I replied no thanks. You would think she would ask if the food was ok being that it looked almost the way she dropped it off to me. But just took it and fave me my bill. I would have said something to the waitress about the food but seeing the way she acted when I asked for just one box I didnt even try. Lol. I also dont want my daughter to turn into a nag. So if you want a good cheap special get one but I dont recommend the shaved beef... I mean the chipped beef. I love the pictures on here of their food looks nothing like in person. Kind of like that great looking big Mac then you go the McDonalds and you know where Im going with the rest of this story. Lol

I go for the Breakfast only. I have to say the price and quality is awesome. I have been going way before new management took over. Some things have changed for good some for bad. I have had their cheeseburgers too and it has amazing taste. Service could be way better, some waitress you can see clearly in their face they dont care about their job and like to pick who they waiter on. One in particular seems racist(only stating this due to our experience) she refused to serve my family and me. We heard her tell the other waitress "no! i dont want to take them, you take them" with a nasty attitude. Always has a mean face. But any who, customer service needs to improve or business will suffer. Also need to get waitresses who can handle the stress of work, not forget about you or ignore you when it gets busy.

I have been to alot of diners in South Jersey and this one is one of the few with 3 x $2.50 breakfast specials. The waitresses are friendly, the manager can be inattentive and a prick. There are some things on the menu that say one price, but they charge another, like tea on the menu is $.95 while on the check it is $1.25. I asked the manager for the rightful advertised price, and he just said pay the check, a violation of lawful advertising standards. This place also has good dinner specials, is small and comfortable. 2 LCD tvs are on low volume at the front counter.

I went there a couple of times last year and they were great. Food and service was great. But just went there yesterday and it sucked! Service was sad, my fiances roast beef sandwich was dry and fatty, glass was dirty, waiter was this young guy who was too busy playing on his phone than asking if we needed anything else or if everything was okay. Will never go back there again!

We got there about half hour before closing time (which we didnt know) and they waited until we got to the door to turn off the lights and lock the door. I know it was almost time to close but Ive never been to a restaurant or diner that closes before their posted closing time.

Im originally from down south so Im used to the "Southern Hospitality". So moving to NJ and walking into this diner felt like I like I never left, from the great service, Great food, great people, to the small-town atmosphere, this place is GREAT.

One of the employees smelled bad. I had eggs which seemed ok. My son had a kids cheeseburger and 2 hours later started vomiting. Im very worried about food poisoning since he was fine earlier.
