I dont understand where these 5 star ratings are coming from. This place is a dank little eatery that represents every awful thing once-great Jersey diners have become. I personally am the sort who sees diners as the sort of place one goes for a burger, some bufallo wings, maybe breakfast for dinner, and none of these simple options come out alright. Overcooked, sloppily prepared food items are commonplace, and the remorseless 1950s grandpa pop music soundtrack they play doesnt help. Maybe the endless array of fine dining options they feebly advertise are spot on? My dad says the Greek salads are spot-on, but olives arent my thing. Regardless, I pray for this grease pit to burn down so a slick corporate Dennys can move onto the lot and class up the neighborhood.

This was our 4th time eating at the Harbor Diner...this time brought the kids. Its conveniently located on our way to the beach. Weve travelled everywhere and without hesitation, this is the best diner and quite possibly the best restaurant weve ever eaten in. The portions are generous and the quality is excellent. The eggplant parm is unreal, sandwiches perfect....make sure to save room for the coconut cake. I put on 10lbs thinking about this place!

The food was good but the employees... I am disgusted. I listened to an employee gossip with a table about a deceased officer who happened to be a friend of mine and talk about his life, family, and personal matters and the issues surrounding the death. It put such a bad taste in my mouth and I will never be eating there again an neither will any of my friends or family. Just awful.

Always a great meal....awesome Pumpkin Pancakes. Great Greek Salad! Pizza on a Pita. Prime Rib. Great variety of food. Homemade Rice and Bread Pudding. Breakfast is served all day. Alcohol license. The place where many locals and visitors eat. Local Hot Spot on Sundays after Church masses and Services.

Food wuz very delightful but now the racial tension wuz in the atmosphere as far as the patrons but the diner is very pleasant clean & servers were delightful no complaints & yes I would definitely go there & eat again if ever passing thru that side of the region trust me

Amazing varied menu. Excellent food, great service. The bread pudding is good, however they actually serve a smaller portion of it if it is included with the meal, than just ordering the desert. Kind of strange, I think.

I highly recommend this place. They ha e crest dinner specials that includes dessert. You cant beat that. Starting at 9.99. Been there twice will definitely be back again.

The french onion soup is the best!!! All of their food is very good and worth the trip for lunch, dinner, or a late night meal. Its what a New Jersey diner is all about.
