Wish to give it no stars I witnessed today a black woman with child be racially profiled. Security in the store asked her to not bring childs back pack inside the store, I am very disturbed with this situation. Maybe she walked or caught the bus to the store maybe she didnt have a car to put the back pack in why is this a problem if you never seen this person put any items into the back pack that would be theft at which you can ask to check the bag if you suspect it to be theft. I will be calling corporate as well.

Store has good food and fair prices. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful. Although one cashier recently offered to put my raw chicken in the same bag as lettuce. Lately the store has been doing renovations or repairs before closing and its very loud and takes away from a positive experience. Their overnight meat section isnt that great either with just a handful of lower cut meat put out for those who cant make it until later. I prefer the Green Giant Eagle better.

I had forgotten my giant eagle card and I had changes phone numbers and addresses because I am a traveler. I was buying gift cards that totaled $100.00 I really wanted to use my card and the cashier was very nice and helped me use my drivers license to look up my giant eagle number so I was able to make my purchase and get my rewards counted. This was such a blessing. No other store goes to this trouble to help me like your store . Thank you ****

very poor experience in checking by phone if coffee is on sale..eight oclock coffee,,,,the grounds not the beans. And why on earth would you sell bags of beans and not have a grinder in the store !!!! I am sure some people have grinders , but we dont...what a mess. so finally they come back to the phone with my answer and my husband is already at the store asking same questions...22 minutes to find out answer. Little slow on the moving there.

I watched the old Apples store in Barberton pretty much transcend into a new Giant Eagle store a few years ago. I have been shopping here for many years and having my coffee everyday at the Deli snack area too. Its a nice place for lunch with a friend too. The staff and workers at the Giant Eagle in Barberton are are great in so many ways too. My thanks them for being just great people.

Their Fried Chicken and JoJos from the hot counter is the best in town! Plus, I Love Giant Eagles brand food more than actual name brands. The store has been changed around, but when you shop there once every couple of days, it grows on you (plus they offer a map if you need to know where something is located) and the workers are very friendly and helpful!

Giant Eagle is the worst chain grocery store in the area these days. Once the only place I would shop, now our local chains are baron of employees and customers service. Even during peak hours, youre lucky if there is one human cashier, all other line are self checkout, yet the prices remain the same or higher than stores with more to offer. Dump

Saw the other reviews and it may be bc ppl are spoiled, but growing up in Barberton, then living in big cities, I can say that one of the things I actually look fwd to is grocery shopping here. Great selection, football-field-space, great bakery/meat/produce sections and low prices. Place is very clean and well laid out. Give it a shot!

dont waste your time coming here this place is very unorganize all of the shelves were ransacked no prices on any of the end caps. when I needed help I couldnt find it I couldnt find it anywhere.the lines were terribly slow and they were lacking cashiers I would recommend going to the 1 on waterloo or making the trip to uniontown

Hate it they went away from customer service idea and more like made people here not happy to be around u can tell there mangers suck and they cut so many diff food out just basic to choose from and last if I wanted to go into Walmart I would be in one get the pallets out from middle of floors

I get savor coupons on the things that I use and it helps alot plus they double coupons $.99 and below and that helps. I get rewards for prescriptions and not to mention the fuel perks,every saving counts.

Staff is super friendly!! If I ever had a complaint, and it has only been 2 in over 20 years, the manager took care of it immediately. Love the Barberton location! Community involved too!
