Oh, my gods, so good. Best little American-German tavern Ive ever been too. Maybe the only one! Its so fondly decorated with super cute retro stuff, old Disney memorabilia, lots of golden wood and figurines. It definitely feels more like a tavern than a diner, but its really toes the line between both. Cheers to that! Lovely staff, very accommodating. Homemade specialities are the way to go, but everything we ordered was well-prepared and in a very timely fashion. It was like eating at my grandmothers. Dont tell her I said that! If Im ever in the Catskills I will go out of my way to visit again. Keep it up, yall! Get the goulash, meatloaf, stuffed cabbage: just trust the waitress, Jan? Jan. Im almost so positive. Five stars, and I mean it!

Im not sure how anyone can question the cleanliness or the authenticity of this place... not only can I attest to the fact that its spotless, but Ive spoken with Klara and the owner (in German), and tried the food... amazing Stuffed Cabbage, and cold beer. The best! Delicious food and worth the trip from anywhere.

This place was really cool and laid back. Everything is crazy cheap prices and I loved every bit of my food. I had the Reuben and the corned beef hash. Really dug the vibe, highly recommend. They also have a vintage milkshake machine that still works and is just as awesome as youd imagine.

5 star experience. Pretty standard diner food. However, the decor and service make you feel like its 1952. I couldnt get enough of the wood paneled lounge. Service was friendly and quick. Loved this place. Hope to make it a regular stop on our upstate travels.

Really wonderful classic diner, the breakfast sandwiches are amazing, big crusty kaiser rolls! Super quick service, really fresh food, very good prices. Definitely worth a stop, Ive been to so many diners and this is probably the best diner food Ive had.

Those people might have a bunch of friends in the area but the place is everything but neat. Food not good either. Does not deserve to have German as an attribute in their history!!!!

We showed up at 2:30 on a Wednesday place was empty and looked really run down I was like oh no. I was worried for nothing food and wait staff was great.

Great place to stop, just 2 minutes off Rt 17. Family run, really nice people. Get bacon and eggs, with a New York hard roll toasted on the grill.
