AUTHENTIC PARISIAN CAFÉ IN WRIGLEYVILLE Maison Parisienne, 3307 N. Clark, is a wonderful new café/bakery, which brings authentic French food and atmosphere to Chicago. The café is operated by its three young founders—Erwan Le Nan, CEO, Audrey Naccache, Chef, and Styven Charton, Pastry Chef. The store-front restaurant is beautifully and simply designed to capture the genuine feel and essence of a Parisian bistrot in charming neighborhoods, such as St. Germaine-des-Prés, Le Marais, or Montmartre. The moment we walked in, we could feel the unmistakable French ambience: romantic background music, a sunlit reception area with hardwood floors, wooden coffee tables and inviting chairs, and the lovely Audrey, with her classic chef’s uniform—impeccable white apron and matching toque hat—ushering us to our seats. Maison Parisienne imports its flour and butter from France and one can definitely taste the difference. Their butter and chocolate croissants are rich and exquisite, with the lightest layers of crisp, mouthwatering flavor caressing one’s taste buds. I have been a quiche Lorraine fan since childhood, and as a French cuisine aficionado, it is my signature dish to prepare at home. I have enjoyed quiches and savory tarts in almost every French restaurant in Chicago and in several restaurants in Paris. However, I can honestly say that the tarte a l’oignon we had at Maison Parisienne is by far, the best I have ever tasted, from the light and flaky artisanal crust to the creamy filling, inspired by the sweetness of the caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes and fresh herbs. I asked Erwan why they chose Chicago as the location for their culinary venture. He said the weather and the vastness and beauty of Lake Michigan reminded him of his childhood in Normandy. Spoken like a true Romantic, who immediately perceived and captured the poetic essence of our fair city, and the undeniable affiliation we share with France. I can’t wait to return for a taste of Audrey’s superb Boeuf Bourguignon. Vive la cuisine française!

Ive spent a lot of time in France and have always been trying to find a croissant in Chicago that tastes as good - my search is over! They actually import their butter and flour from France and use a French oven to get that authentic taste! Other pastries are wonderful as well, and staff is extremely friendly. I look forward to going back and trying their savory options!

First of all, great service! You can tell they are super passionate about their café. Now the food is something out of this world. I tried their quiche and almost melted it was so good. And their peach and almond pie was a perfect ending to my lunch. Good thing I love next door because I will be coming back for sure!

What a find! An authentic French pastry shop in the heart of Chicago. Everyone in the group got something different and everything was a hit. The almond croissant was light, flaky, and delicious (with a delicious almond paste in the middle). The tarts were eggy and filling, and the coffee was rich and smooth.

Delightful find. A true French cafe. The croissants are outstanding and the coffee is delicious. Try the quiche Lorraine too -its smooth and creamy tasting and with a little bit of tang. My husband and I loved it. Plus the staff are all from France. They use flour, butter and chocolates from France.

This authentic and cute Parisian cafe is exactly what chicago needs. A chocolate croissant, small latte with a side of some Parisian pop music made for a quick and enjoyable stop that cost $7.81. Totally worth it for transporting me back to Paris!

A little taste of France right here in Chicago. :) Products are homemade and owners are French. The place is cosy with a Parisian style and the service is made to make you feel at home. The Boeuf Bourguignon and Croissants are a must to try!

LOVED the brunch here. The owner is extremely nice and his food is perfection. Our entire party agreed that we hadnt had food that authentic outside of France. Also his Galette des Rois is singly the best in the entire Chicagoland area.
