I presented a 10% coupon as I have at least on two separate occocains never a problem but today the young guy with glass didnt know how to properly apply the 10% coupon & then advised me that it was only for my dinner & drinks were not included. To my surprise this new information was not noted on the coupon. Bottom line I tried speaking with him upon paying & this young arrgorant boy insisted that that the .06 that was taken off of my bill was correct. Because I am a woman of color I didnt want to argue with the young man in fear they may call the Amherst police & I didnt want those additional problems so I paid the bill & called once I got in the car because .06 being taking off my bill didnt sit well with me. Long story short he hung up on me & still stood firm that he calculated the bill correctly. I then went back into the restraunt to ask the name of the manger which he didnt want to give & then once he give me "Jeffs" name he assumed I couldnt spell it perhaps because I am "black". The worse customer service ever & I will never step foot in this establishment were I was totally disrespected!!!!!!

No bugs here just GOOD FOOD! On Friday June 9, 2017 I met my sister and her husband there for lunch. I drove from PA and they came in from the Finger Lakes. The trip for me took longer than expected and I arrived around 2:30. At that time there were many people inside the restaurant and there was plenty of food. They use a sauce on the salmon which I don’t care for. Many Chinese buffets use the same sweet sauce. I usually wipe it off but this time I ate everything because it was that good. Pay your check at the register. The waitress was expecting an over six-dollar tip as she grabbed our money. I don’t think so! If I come back next year to WNY for the Allentown Art Show I will stop at Amherst Buffet again. I wish we had a nice place like this in my area. The one in my area is the only one in town and it’s a rip-off. I have to drive 40 miles to Bethlehem PA for some good Chinese buffet. Thank you Google Maps for helping me find this wonderful place!

Ive noticed a few fake accounts on this review chain claiming there are bugs on the floor and that the food was cold and which I have taken the liberty of assuming is all run by the same person (who wants to deter others away from a thriving business) since theyve all been written in the past 6 days under unlikely names and are accounts with no profile pictures and reviews of other places nor any pictures to prove their claim. These fakes are as follows: Heather Shrate, Steven Popsen, Kate Wright, Jodi Poloski, James White, and Mary Joanne Now as for my review: best buffet in Amherst! There is a great variety of food options and the seating areas are well divided and offer privacy(if one prefers) and is perfect for families, couples, and individuals alike. The service is strictly business-only so one shouldnt expect conversation and small-talk. The price is reasonable; cheaper for lunch than dinner as with most all-you-can-eat buffets.

My family and I have been frequenting the restaurant since our move from Rochester almost a yr ago. The first dozen or so times were great. Excellent food, clean facilities and superior staff. With all that said the last 2 experiences were horrible after leaving my family amlnd I became very ill from the seafood. We assumed if we waited a while and never went again during lunch the experience would return to its original luster. It did not. With more than a months time and outside of lunch hours we, my husband and I went back. Yesterday the restaurant was busy and clean as usual. Staff attentive and food smelling amazing and we had a great time until later. We both for sick from the seafood again. When theyre great, theyre great. When theyre not, beware.

I was thrilled by the way I was accepted at Amherst Buffett. I went with a friend to enjoy lunch and after arriving I got an emergency situation at home and had to leave for an extended time. The servers took real great care to make sure my guest was well taken care of. Allowed her to be able to access her phone in restaurant and confirm all was Ok with me. When I arrived and was able to continue it had moved from lunch to dinner but they still only charged me and my guest the lunch rate. All I can say is if you want a full Buffett more then you can ever eat. Stop by the Amherst Location in Burlington plaza. For a great meal. Tell them Gerry Gee sent you.

This place has a great buffet and very clean. Definitely coming back. Found this place by Google search. Read reviews before trying, and I was a little reserved about the reviews with "bugs". But took a chance since other reviews negated those claims. Super glad I went ahead to try. Food was fantastic as well as large selection in the buffet. As far as those negative reviews, they must have been eating somewhere else, or trying to discredit this restaurant. I was really surprised how many different items that were offered. Good selection on non Asian dish too that works well if you have kids. Pizza, french fries, and more.

I dont know whats up with the two reviews say this place is disgusting and full of dead bugs!?? Makes me skeptical of their motives by saying that and clearly they were together and both posting the same review. Im sitting here as I type. Great selection, fairly good quality and fresh and CLEAN! My wife and I do not see a single bug anywhere, dead or alive and we were looking. This place is at least above average when it comes to Chinese buffets. Very nice sushi bar for a Chinese buffet also! Good service, girls come to get glass as soon as drink was low, multiple times. Would definitely come back.

I am not a buffet lover. But this food was very good! Probably will go back. Price was so reasonable and the selection was huge! The only reason I gave this 3 stars is because of our server. There were 5 of us. she barely spoke to us, never smiled, when asked for wet naps, change, etc, she seemed to be perturbed that we asked her for anything! Now I am a good tipper, and so are my friends. Usually 20%. This is the FIRST TIME ever that I did not leave a tip. There are no excuses for being rude. Especially when its your job. Sorry, but if and when I come back, I will make sure I do NOT sit in her area.

Food and service have been on a steady decline since opening. We arrived over 2 hours before closing time. The selection looked like it had been out for quite some time and at least 8 entrees were empty. I asked an attendant if more entrees would be made and she nodded yes. No new feed was made! We left an hour before closing and old food was just being reshuffled to the front warming areas. They kept accepting new customers without even giving them a heads up that no new food was being made. The establishment was promising the first two times we visited, but we wont be going back.
