An Indian restaurant inside a grocery store. Youd assume its nothing special. Youd be wrong. This small place offers some of the best flavors of south India that youll find in the Portland area. If youre a veteran of Indian food, you might still have an interesting time with the menu here, as they offer many things Ive not experienced in other places. Nothing weird, but just dishes you dont find on your typical buffet, or in your typical restaurant. The paneer butter masala is AWESOME! During my last trip it appeared as if they were implementing a buffet. If they have this when you go, TRY IT. And have a little of everything. I think youll be amazed.

The Manager is the worst at this place, he is the most arrogant and no regard to the customer. I ordered sweet for to go and when I picked up i got totally different sweet. When i came back and try to get refund the manager keeps arguing that the other sweet is more expensive and he hard to redo the sweet to other customer and i have to pay him back and refused to refund. Totally arrogant staff.

For the Portland metro area, theres nothing like it. (Please correct me, if you have info otherwise!) Wonderful quick bites--"fast casual" could describe it, I suppose. Dont go for the ambience, American-style Indian dishes or table service. Go for the food, mmm, I would eat here 2-3 times a week if it werent 30 minutes from my house.

Today was first experience to go to this food restaurant for lunch. I liked the food but did not liked the service. It tool almost 30 min to get food on table. Restaurant is not much clean. if you are planning to for work lunch break please make sure you have enough time. I will not go for lunch break.

Seriously this place is useless. I ordered Gujarati Thali and all I got was salty and oily curries. They need to understand that food can be tasty without too much spices, salt or oil. I prefer Apna Chat Bhavan couple of blocks which seems to have better food.

Delicious food with good service. Specially A la Carte and indochinese. Their chaat items give the authentic Indian test. Which will bring water in the mouth. Dosa is very testy and cheaper here. The special thali here is awesome.

The food is excellent. The place is not very clean.The waiters are excellent. Make sure you tip the waiters directly on the table.These owners dont pay the tips to the waiters the customers pay on the counter.

I was too tired to cook hence ordered veg biryani and paneer kadhahi. I was delighted & full after eating it as it was so yummy. Even the snacks here r good. Highly recommended.
