My wife a Filipina who is a great cook and I agree that this is the tastiest Filipino food we have had in the Seattle region in the last ten years. The pictures show kare-kare, which is an oxtail and beef flank soup with green beans and egg plant in a peanut sauce. The pancit (noodles) has chicken, shrimp and pork with no charge for the extra ingredients. We ordered a regular size, not family size and look how big the portion is! We couldnt eat it all in one meal. We also had mungo (I think it has pork) with mung beans and bok choy in a meat sauce. Masarap! the Spanish bread is a treat to my wife, rolled with margarine and a tiny bit of sugar, not sweet enough to be a dessert. Again, the portions were HUGE. It is a long drive from our house, but we have made it a few times, coupled with another entertaining event south of Seattle, this time a visit to the new IKEA. Only four stars since it took a long, long time for us and others to get the food. Maybe next time we will call ahead. Oh and of course, halo halo for dessert!

Filcuisine must have a new owner because it was different from when I use to come here years ago. The food definitely taste better and they have way more selection of food on the menu to choose from. Before you would have to order off the menu posted on the wall (like Philippines turo turo or L&L) but now they have printed menus with pictures to choose from and they come take your order. I like that they moved next door to a bigger place that seats more. They are all so nice here and have awesome service! My hubby and I ordered too much food that we couldnt believe we ate it all (walang patawad) lol. Even though we know how to cook Filipino food we will still keep coming back here!! I love the new and improved Filcuisine!!

I ordered Pinakbet to go, and I specifically said regular size please, no rice just the pinakbet. My husband went to pick it up, and when the food was here I was upset because it wasnt the right size that I asked, it was the afforda-bowl, the one that comes with rice. Not even that, the vegetables were mushy and in their website it says it includes Okra, but there was no single okra in my food. The food was too salty too, the bagoong wasnt even added on it yet and it was already too salty. It also said on their website "vegetables and pork" they should have said "vegetables and Pork skins" because the only pork I saw in my food were all skins of pork with fats. So sad that there are no other filipino restaurants close by.

If I can give them -5 stars I would. We went to fil cuisine on June 24 we are the first group to get there when we walked in no one in the counter two groups came and workers served the two groups before us not even asking first who is first to be served then after serving the two groups his asking me on how can he help me I wonder I went to the restaurant that means I want a table so that me and my family can eat that is the problem sometimes to filipino culture if you know or they are your regular they serve them right away even others was there first. I used to like going here but now I dont think I will eat here again rude people Im not invisible person not to be seen also bad the surrounding of the restaurant.

This place rocks! I mean, I had tried other places in San Diego, which mostly sold the "token" lumpia and pancit. But this place has a level of dish diversity I had never had the pleasure of trying. And every dish is home-cooked... and boy can you tell!! I can honestly say I have tried most of their menu and absolutely nothing has disappointed! Tips: *they are usually packed for holidays and weekends *they do take-out orders however *if you love pork belly, get the Lechon Kawali! Its deep fried and just bursting with fatty goodness *if youre feeling under the weather or craving chicken noodle soup, the Arroz Caldo is a thicker version and is a yummy, garlicky, comfort food soup!

This place is the first filipino restaurant Ive tried here in Washington, and Im glad I did. Our group enjoyed their service and food. I especially love their lechon kawale and kare-kare. Their lechon kawali is crispy and as you dip it in soy sauce w/mixed spice, it is totally satisfying! The kare-kare is one of my favorite filipino dish and theirs was completely superb! The price is just right. The place is also decent and homey. Plus, their staff are very welcoming and friendly. We even got to watch the Pacquiao vs Bradley match with their staff Lol. It was a great night at Fil Cuisine. I would love to come back here and recommend this place to others as well

This was our first time here, and well be going back again and again. We started with the pork lumpia, it was very good! I had the Coachs Chicken. It came with 2 thighs, one leg, rice and a salad. The salad was very fresh with romaine lettuce, tomatoes and mango. The dressing was nicely spread throughout. The sauce was delicious on the chicken. My husband had the Lechon Kawali bowl. Pork belly roasted then deep fried? Does it get any better than that? No, it doesnt! A great value for only $6.50. We had enough leftovers for hubbys lunch the next day, well be back!

Sat down in front of the kitchen, I noticed the cook cough right into the food without covering his mouth or into another direction. He filled a to go container with food, coughed yet again right into the food without covering his mouth. I got up and left before ordering. Not going back to this place until stricter policies are in place or there is a change in personnel that respect the publics health safety. This place is very unsanitary and should be surprise inspected. The one star is the lowest it allows me to rate this place.

My mother in law and Husband are Filipino and we LOVE this place. Its a small family run restaurant and the food is delicious and in BIG portions. They brought our kids free cups of juice, and kept our waters full. We always order 3 different dishes and share but everything is so good. My mother in law cooks Filipino food everyday but when she needs a break we just come here, quiet atmosphere and great service, and my husband loves the prices. I wish I could give this more Stars!!

The service was terrible. When we first got there nobody greeted us at the counter. When they finally did, they told us they had to clean a table off. But then after waiting for awhile, and seeing no attempts for staff to clean a table off, we just left. It seemed that the restaurant was possibly short-staffed, as only one person looked to be a server.

Great food and fast service and very friendly staff. I love all the breakfast menu, sinigang dishes, pakbet and the halohalo. I am very thankful that we have a Filipino restaurant in Kent, a very convenient place to have the taste of Filipino dishes with my friends. I wish the restaurants continued success.
