My favorite place in Bremerton, Indian or otherwise! Excellent flavor, superb quality, friendly and fast service. Large portions! When this restaurant was recommended to me, I had my doubts. Typically, I feel like people have low standards and Im usually disappointed when I try a recommended restaurant. Much to my surprise this has become my new favorite place and Ive been back four more times in as many weeks. Ive only had chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and kashmira naan, so far. However, it is so truly delicious that Ive not even tried anything else yet. I just keep going back for more. Flavor: excellent, well seasoned with spices and visible herbs. Freshness: way above average! Chicken is fresh, juicy white meat Spice: perfect! Scale is 1-5 and it is consistently applied. 1 is not very spicy, while a 5 is truly hot. Many other places, I cant get any consistency. Its either way too hot or not at all spicy. Not here. Theyve got this down! The Kashmira naan is surprisingly great. Its naan stuffed with coconut & raisins. Its great with the rice & tikka masala or as a stand alone treat. So, so good! Highly recommended. The one downfall, for me, is that the chicken is cubed (as is usually the case at other places too.) However, I strongly prefer shredded chicken for practicality and even distribution throughout the meal. I dont hold this against The Curry, but it is a downside for me. If not for this, The Curry would be in every way my ideal Indian Restaurant. Instead, I have to order takeout and manually shred all of the chicken before I arrange my plate. No big deal, its still my favorite food in Bremerton!

After reading the reviews that average 4.8 stars (almost unheard of in the hospitality industry, which I own a business), I had to check this place out for myself. Am over 55, and have pretty much been there, done that, so pretty hard to impress me these days (welcome to aging!). We have found the best restaurants are small family owned places with authenticity both in regional flavor and aesthetically, with cuisine that matches the region represented. This place does not disappoint in ANY way. Service was superior, food and menu were outstanding, vegetarians will be in a wonderful state of disbelief at the selection, full bar, and lovely aesthetics. We have had some of the best curries from around the world, and nearly the best ever tasted turned out to be in my own backyard. Prices reasonable, and full bar. Cant wait to return. Do not miss this gem! GO. NOW.

Wow! My favorite restaurant in Kitsap. I eat there every week, no exceptions except when I eat there twice or more a week. I like it that much. As for petty one star reviews about this family owned and run business being closed on Sunday- it looks like someone didnt get their participation trophy the week that review was left. Either that or he harbors a secret crush on The Curry and is trying to act like he doesnt- you know like back in grade school where boy picked on the girls they liked so the other boys wouldnt give him a hard time? Either way, ignore the 1-star opinion and and stop in for the 5-star fact. Ask them for my regular- Mango Chicken Masala #4 spicy and vegetable samosa.

It was a quiet Friday night when my wife and son went to the restaurant, we were the only ones there. Its right off the ferry exit as you disembark via car but if youre walking and coming up 2nd towards the terminal you wont see it. Its hidden away and there are no other advertisements to point you in their direction. Other than that, the food was good, I enjoyed the vegetarian part of it and Im not a vegetarian. We ordered the #42 Non Vegetarian, we had the bhartha and that was very good! The lamb curry and tandori chicken were also good, no surprises there. My wife and I liked it there and the price was reasonable. We will be trying the buffet later.

I must say that this is one of the best places to eat in Bremerton ! The food is very flavorful and good. I personally like the service that the owner himself provides everyone ! The place is affordable and good ! If you come to Bremerton, you must checkout this place. I visited here a year ago with my wife. I am totally hooked ! I have visited the place about 72 times in this year alone. Initially I was very skeptical about Indian food but this place totally changed my mind !

My fiancee and I come to the Curry every chance we can get. Its such a bummer that they are closed Sundays - we walked there after church and realized our mistake :( We love this place because it is consistently delicious and the service is great. Everything is authentic. The guy who runs the place (waiter/owner?) is super nice and has never let us down. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes, or wants to try out Indian food!

Standard buffet style North Indian fair. Just okay. Uninspiring surroundings. Gulab jamun were not good. Hard, not spongy, uncooked in the center. The kheer was just basmati mixed with plain milk and under sweet. Kheer is time consuming to make and requires reducing the milk by at least half. This was not done. Frankly I cook better than this. Unfortunately most restaurants of this type do only the bare minimum, its a mind set.

Im from the south, more of a beef and potatoes kind of guy. I had never had indian before until trying this place out and I was amazed. Ive been for the buffet a few times now and really enjoy the food. I dont know the names of all the foods but everything ive put on my plate there has been delicious. The dude that runs the place is very nice too.

Naan is good. Dont pass it up. The chai needs a little help, not strong enough to be called chai spice. The traditional curry was ok the spice wasnt consists so at times the fire felt like a 1 and then a different bite felt like a 3 and the scale goes up to 5. All in all I wasnt disappointed, but I have had much better at places that cost less.

Wow, I cant believe the sensational smells dont have the taste to back it up. I was quite surprised the food did not meet my expectation. The butter chicken didnt taste like any other butter chicken Ive experienced. The curry was also unrecognizable. I cant recommend this location for anyone with taste buds.

This is an amazing place in a little corner. Every time I go to Seattle I stop here to eat. Its right by the ferry and I love the food here. The Owner is a great guy and serves us well. My Personal favorite is Chicken Korma With nan ! Mostly the total bill is $19 for 2 people and thats drinks included !

I Love This Place. I eat here often and am amazed by the flavors used. I never thought that food could taste like this too. The owner has told be about spices used and its unreal. I had not even heard about most of them. The Food is not spicy hot at all too. Great place !
