Service - Excellent, Quality - Excellent, Ambiance - Excellent, VALUE - Impressive! I went to give this place a shot for lunch. Always go for the tell tale basics on first visit. Tom Kha soup to measure the Thai Cuisine, and 3 basic Maki Rolls: Tuna, Spicy Salmon, Philadelphia to check out their Sushi Bar. The soup was rock solid and had some very fresh baby corn which was nice with the creaminess of the coconut milk in the broth. The fish in the Maki was very fresh, the rice was nice, the soy sauce was actually soy sauce and the Philadelphia roll (my go to Maki) as a whole was one of the best Ive had.The smoked salmon in it was very flavorful. My server kept my water full, the place was a good size, open and very nicely decorated with a mix of natural light and a clean, modern, Sushi Bar swankiness that was very comfortable. Looked like a full bar and great Sake menu as well. Its too bad there werent more than 5 or 6 tables seated for lunch, but I would imagine they do very well come dinner time. Go there, for the price you wont find better and they deserve to stay in business!!

Although the staff seems friendly and the service prompt, the food is awful. The Thai curries are bland, sweet, without nuance and when asked to make them spicy, they add rancid oil which only makes it less palatable and not at all spicy. The sushi is very sad. The rolls are not well packed and contain the tiniest whisper of what tastes like overcooked, mushy eel drowned in sauce and the salmon skin tastes only of fry oil, once again soaked in sauce which attempts to give the mess flavor. The sashimi is flavorless, which all suggests that it is either old or previously frozen. Also, there is very limited parking and most of the surrounding lots are for other businesses. Beware. I have no idea why this place is so poplar, other than location.

A friend recommended this restaurant for a surprise party for my daughters birthday. There were about 50 people in our party and we were unable to be seated together. They do not have accommodation for large parties but they did set up several tables in the front of the restaurant. The food was excellent, everyone enjoyed their meal. My only complaint is they dont give separate checks. It would have been nice if they rang each persons bill with their tax and tip instead of having the people say charge this or that amount to my credit card... Trying to talley each persons bill with tax and tip took over 30 minutes and I still got stuck with an extra $27.00. I will go back but definitely not with a large group.

This place is an awesome destination for sushi, in the south suburbs. All of their rolls are prepared with care, and the presentations are pretty. I always feel bad going in for the first piece, because I dont want to mess it up. But then I remember how savory they are, and I forgive myself. The ingredients are fresh, and they have a wide range of rolls, from traditional to unique. The cocktail menu is also good, and yes, they have sake! (Not sure why, but sake is sometime hard to find on the southside.) The staff has always been sweet and attentive, and the chefs are friendly. If you are suburb dwelling, and are unsure about sushi, give this place a try to solidify your decision.

Chicago-style sushi outside of the city! I HIGHLY recommend the Green River roll! The servers and chefs are all sweet, helpful, and fun. They are also very accommodating to my gluten free diet, as they will omit soy sauce from any dishes and also create a "special Green River" roll for me since it is my favorite. Asian Harbor has been a go-to for me for 7 years, but they took it to the next level when a group of girls and I visited for a friends birthday: Bringing whipped cream to the table and filling the birthday girls mouth with it was priceless. Thanks, Asian Harbor! Reservations arent necessary.

Great food. I love Thai food so having access to authentic Thai cuisine is wonderful. The down side is the price. The food has become very expensive and the waitresses can be a bit pushy. Dont get me wrong their friendly bit some comments she be kept to themselves. Just saying. I would recommend the calamari, before salad, and larb salad. For drinks, you have to try the Hennessy Martini its too good. They do not hold back on the alcohol but they also balance it out with a sweet and sour flavor that will make your toes curl.

My favorite Asian restaurant in the area! The staff is usually very friendly but at times can be a bit difficult to understand. The food is really top notch, specifically the sushi. They have a nice selection of drinks and I love their Thai iced tea. The restaurant is beautifully decorated too many locals come here for special occasions. Their parking lot is almost nonexistent with only about 8 spots that are not easy to maneuver around. You would be much better off parking on the street! Go and check it out!

The service was amazing. Food came quick and very nice waitress food was ok there variety is very good but for the 80 dollars we played for 4 meals that we thought were ok it not worth it the food was ok we ordered Susie was really good but some of the food for other meals I think some of the vegetables were frozen and I was disappointed. But I do recommend this place for it Japaneis food. Or if you dont like that the got to the Chinese restraint called eat rice it is the best in town

This is usually a great place for Asian food but I was very disapointed on my last visit. Service was slow though the restaurant was not that crowded for a Friday night. Our waiter paid too much attention to the table next to us as if no other customers existed. The appetizers and entrees were cold and rather nondescript.. We usually travel about 40 minutes to get to Asian Harbor but due to a less than average dining experience I think I will cross them off my list.

Great atmosphere and good food. Service was decent. Only thing that went wrong was unfortunately a huge issue. I gave a ten percent tip which is standard. Our waiter picked up the receipt, but came back asking if he did something wrong. I replied that no, he was good. He then tells me the total of my order with the tip I added and says "Thats only ten percent." Thats something a waiter should NEVER do. I will not be back.

This was a very nice restaurant. Im more into Habchi where as my significant is more into Sushi. However here we had the best of both worlds and had more then enough to share with each other. The atmosphere was very inviting and almost sexy (for lack of a better word). Id say its great for couples but still inviting enought for families. The service was quick, even with a full house, and our waitress was pleasant.

All the food at Asian Harbor is terrific, regardless of its nationality, Japanese, Thai or Chinese. Their sushi is extremely fresh and delicious. Large selection as well. Great cocktails too. Try the leechi martinis. The decor is a comfortable blend of East and West. It could use a little sprucing up, but Im being picky. The ambiance can be romantic, laid back, quiet. Comfortable.
