You ever watch Gordon Ramseys "Kitchen Nightmares"? Aside from the constant swearing, the one trademark of the show is that he almost always cuts down the menu sometimes substantially. Why? Because a huge menu usually means food moves slowly and the execution is poor. Getting to my point about Italian Moon, the restaurant which tries to be EVERYTHING to EVERYONE. You want Italian? You got it! Mexican? Sure! BBQ? Yep. Fried chicken. Uh-huh. What do they execute well? If I were judging the restaurant simply based on the BBQ it might be 3 or 4 stars. The portions on the BBQ platter with pulled pork, baby backs, and beef brisket are huge and the taste is decent. Their Mexican and Italian foods are horrible, the buffet (which admittedly I have not tried) looks stale and the service is terrible. Pretty disappointing.

I just had a "beef brisket sandwich" from this place and it was possibly the worst sandwich that Ive ever had in my life. Four thick slabs of extremely fatty and tough beef, slapped onto a hamburger bun. Almost half of the meat was inedible and it could not even be eaten as a "sandwich". If I were a cook at this restaurant, I would be totally embarrassed to serve something like this to the public. Ive eaten many "beef brisket sandwiches" in my life and this couldnt even be considered a "beef brisket sandwich". It was just four slabs terrible grey meat on a bun. GROSS

An old friend from Grand Forks recommended this place, but the last time he visited was 20 years ago. Apparently things have changed. Service was mediocre and I ordered a mexican dish with red gravy(?) When I asked about it all she said was "its your typical red gravy." Im from Colorado and I dont know any better so I figured it was like blood gravy. It was just tomato sauce and spices. Not good at all. If ou want mexican, go down the street to paradise. If you want Italian of Pizza go to Giuseppes on Demers, next to Bonzers. fantastic.

I get the buffet when I go there. I love to make a sprout salad. The pizza is pretty good. They have homemade dough made fresh on site. The tomato bisk soup is really good, and the spaghetti with sauce is delicious. Friendly people, I like this place. Good deal at the price also.

This place has really good food. The pizza is good. Ive had the enchiladas also, although they are no where near authentic, they were very good. Their queso dip is amazing. The buffet is always good. I love the chicken. It is always fresh and juicy, never greasy.

I love this place! Ive been ordering delivery since Ive moved here in Grand Forks! The drivers are always friendly and the food is delivered in a timely manner! The food is excellent!! Ive ate just about everything on the menu except the pizza.

Made an order for delivery. When food arrived the turkey look old they gave me one packet of mayo for my sandwhich and since when does a chef salad have broccoli and cauliflower on it. It was not worth my money will never order from here again.

We usually do the buffet here as they have lots of Great options for the whole family. Even the picky kids. The staff is always so nice and knows some of us by name because we go so often! Great home town business.

I ordered delivery. Food arrived quickly and was still very hot. I had cajun pasta with italian sausage, it was excelent! Really good flavor and a big portion. I will be ordering from them more.

Everyone one I know hates eating here, but I disagree. Their buffet has a lot of good food, and their pizza is very tasty. Certainly a place to visit when stopping by Grand Forks.
