Pros: - Trendy decor. - Excellent Indian-tropical themed bar with great selections such as Lychee Martini and Mango Margarita. - The curry dishes were delicious without the use of excessive grease or cream. We tried the Malai Kofta and Chicken Korma. Both were well-prepared. - The host, waitress and manager were all courteous. - Dinner was served *extremely* quickly. Im talking 7-8 minutes after placing the order. Cons: - Some of the dishes were hit-or-miss. The Chicken 65 was overly dry and chewy and the garlic naan was underwhelming. - The waitress forgot our Kulfi. - When the Kulfi arrived, it was delicious, but by far the smallest portion I have ever seen. Overall, this is probably one of the top 3 Indian restaurants in Boston, but there are better options outside the city.

Ate there this weekend. Exceptional Indian restaurant. Very sleek, would even be a great place to sit at the full bar and watch a game--Bruins on one of the televisions. Great craft beer selection on draft. Buffet was fantastic--biggest selection of any Indian restaurant I have ever been to in the past twenty five years! Masala tea and orange juice even included. Vegetarian, chicken and goat selections, plus lots of fruit and salad, plus two desert selections. Very high quality. Huge asset to the neighborhood! Good service too!

I had the lunch buffet mid-week. The appetizers, pakoras and tandoori chicken were a bit dry. There was a decent variety on main courses. I tried the palak paneer and chicken tikka masala. They were both good. Garlic naan was served at the table, though I wouldve preferred a whole wheat bread option. Dessert was kheer (rice pudding), flavored well but disappointing for lacks of nuts. As an added bonus, lemonade and tea were included as part of the buffet. All in all, a pleasant experience - and hard to do better in Cambridge.

The food and service was absolutely amazing. Nirvana probably has the best Indian food my family has had in a long time. I got the Masala Dosa and a few appetizers. The dosa was flavorful but a little spicy. The samosas and aloo tikki were served with 3 different chutneys. The servers were also kind enough to get me ketchup, which I prefer.

Great Indian food, friendly staff and a great value. Their lunch buffet is maybe the best value in the neighborhood. I sampled a lot of different dishes at the buffet, both veggie and meat based, and they were all great. Id definitely recommend this spot for Indian food, especially for their lunch buffet.

The staff started to set shop for buffet before we got done with our dinner. Not to mention a bunch of people were still eating. The food is little different from the regular Indian fare but the ambience and the treatment left a bad taste in the mouth. Not going back.

Great place for Indian food! They have a buffet for lunch thats includes lots of non-veg and veg options. The buffet seems to have different dishes every time, so it doesnt get boring. Both South and North Indian dishes are available.
