This is my go-to Chinese joint. First of all, holy crap are they fast! The food is made to order, and is always prepared quickly. Pricing is average for a Chinese food takeout place. What makes them even better? THEY DELIVER FOR FREE (just be sure to tip!) They are LITERALLY at my doorstep with piping hot Chinese food in under 15 minutes from when I hang up the phone from placing the order! If you live in the area, then youve probably seen the green lake delivery car flying around town. I have never gotten sick afterwards like some reviewers have mentioned, and the food is always cooked thoroughly ( I check to make sure). Customer service over the phone is what youd expect when talking to someone whos first language is not English, but seriously, it wouldnt be an authentic chinese food experience without the language barrier. Four stars!

Ordered shrimp egg foo young with $2 extra shrimp on the side with fried rice. I order on the side bc when you make a delivery order you never see the extra shrimp. Food arrived and all 3 patties of my egg foo young were burnt. Called for replacement along with more fried rice. Initially the fried rice is $1 up charge. Ok no problem. They called back to say we had to pay full price for the fried rice bc we werent paying for the egg foo young. They said it wasnt their problem that Id mixed my rice with the burnt stuff. We told them to keep it all and wed never order from them again if they needed to squabble over the price of fried rice. 20 min later doorbell rang. We didnt answer

The food is great but the cleanliness of the restaurant itself is just horrible the dining room tables are not clean and the kitchen is also not clean and I think the manager that was yelling at the workers yellings isnt a way to get the workers to listen and do what the manager wants right away this store needs to have better communication skills and the guy at the counter needs to be a lot more nicer to the guests that come in or the guests can not go there anymore

I have been a customer for two years since I moved to the area but tonite I am done. My order was burnt upon delivery and when I called back they wanted to charge me 1.00 for fried rice. I was ok with that but then they call me and say they will charge full price for my rice after they messed up the order. I was told it was not his problem so I told them what they can do with the fried rice and will drive past this place whenever I want Chinese food again.

Delivery was lightning fast (seemed like the doorbell rang as soon as I hung up the phone). Food was okay. Not the greatest Ive ever had but not bad either. Good if you want something and cheap. EDIT: Since I wrote this Ive ordered a few more times. They are definitely decent, better than just Okay (maybe we just ordered the first time on an off day?) and their delivery times continue to be great. This is our go-to for Chinese delivery.

When I first moved to Painesville city I was pretty much living off this place while I got settled in. Shortly after I got hit by a drunk driver I was out of work and the owner stopped by to see why I stopped ordering. After he found out of my injury they brought food by every day no charge. I have been ordering ever since because of what a nice thing they did for me. Food is always hot. They have the best Crab Rangoon and Egg rolls.

Worst food ever. I would not even give it a 1 star. We ordered a pt of pork lo mein with no pork in it, 1 beef lo mein which my husband ate., 1 pupu platter which was unedible. Total waste of $$ and I would highly recommend not ordering there again unless they vastly improve. TOTALLY UNHAPPY and would never do business again with them. I guess I had to put a star there other wise it would not be posted.

Not sure what the person in the first review is talking about. Weve ordered from Green Lake for YEARS and have always been happy with their food, service, delivery and price. When youre craving Chinese take-out, this place has exactly what youre looking for. Weve enjoyed their food countless times, and have NEVER had an issue. Keep up the good work, Green Lake! You have fans in Concord!!

I recently ordered from this place. The delivery driver was a young boy with dyed blonde hair. He was so nasty, after I signed my receipt he starred at me, shook his head, and blew at me( literally). He WAS going to get a tip, if that was his problem. I have ordered from here several times, but Im going to let one bad apple spoil the rest, and NEVER EVER, order from there again.

Asked to have a order delivered at 12:15 for my lunch break didnt see them until 1:00 after break was over there delivery team cant show up on time on multiple occasions as well as follow delivery instructions food is good and the only reason I go back

Not only is this pace affordable, its amazing, and theyre so friendly. Ive been to a lot of places as I go to college here, but this place is definitely the best. I would even rate this better than the few Chinese establishments in Mentor.

Pepper steak was un-cooked and rubbery. Shrimp chips were stale. Called in a week later to order again and tell them about it and the owner would not do anything for us. Terrible service. Tasty food though.
