First time to order from this restaurant. I ordered 2 plates from the Texmex section on the menu to go. I asked the person on the phone if the plates came with rice and beans and was assured they did. Well, not only did they not have rice and beans, the enchiladas were bland and greasy, the taco meat was salty and the salsa sucks. I also found out when I got there that the owner was the person that took my order. You would think he would know his menu items. While I was waiting for my to go order to come out, there was another customer complaining about the service. I wanted to call and complain but I will NEVER go there again, so why bother listening to the fake apologies. That is the feeling I have been left with from Mexigo.

Single people appear to be not welcome at this restaurant. Unless you are a party of two or more, forget decent service and be ready for irritable/rude waiters who cant get you out quickly enough. I have observed the bad attitudes of waiters towards single people many times over the past year. There are always plenty of tables during off times during the week but the message is consistent any time. Come to Mexigo with a party of two or more or go elsewhere. Not a bad idea for those who enjoy a pleasant dining experience.

I have been going to Mexigos for 19 years. It is by far the best Texmex restaurant in the state of Texas. The servers are extremely friendly and remember our orders and faces everytime we go. The food is delicious and made fresh. My personal favorite is the tortilla soup with a bean burrito on the side. The complimentary chips come with homemade salsa and queso ordered on the side upon request. The queso is super tasty. I recommend Mexigos to all of my friends. If you are stopping in Texas, this is one place you have to visit!

I am totally confused by the reviews...we went today and had the worst food of my life. We had lunch fajitas, enchiladas, and a few margs which we got extra(small) shots b/c they were lame(good taste). Our bill was $115 b-4 tip. The fajitas were so dry and horrible they were inedible as were the onion ridden enchiladas. If you are looking for a decent Mexican place try Amigos in Richardson...

Love it, Love it, Love it. Unfortunate name. I really think that some people dont even try MexiGo just because the name sounds cheezy, but the Allen location is fantastic. The service is top notch and the food is exceptional. I cant say the same for their Plano location. Same good food , but the service is really indifferent. Top choices: Fajitas, Chimichangas

This is our first time in Allen and we wanted some drinks and some ice cream for our son. The drinks were great but of course with two little kids their cooperation only lasted so long. Service was phenomenal and our server and the manager were extremely generous and accommodating. We are planning to go back for lunch tomorrow!

This is my first time here. I will never return! This place is gross and dirty. The food was bland and the beans tasted like they were old. The food is not fresh. I ordered a smoothie for my daughter and was charged more money than what was written in the kids menu. Dont waste your time or money here.

Great atmosphere, and great food. They have real homemade "hot" salsa, not just the store-bought variety. Celebrated mothers day there and they brought flowers to the moms with us, and made a big deal of my mothers birthday as well.

Pretty good, every visit has been great so far. The only thing is that they dont have horchata, Jamaica or any other flavored water. Also no Manzanita, limited to jarritos and sangria.
