A popular watering hole. I had heard they had great food and generous portions, but. ... The first thing you see before walking in, is a sign that says "No Colors, No Attitude." What does that mean, exactly? I mean, really? ( I did notice that the clientele was all white folks. ) The service was way, way too slow. I almost walked out, I was hungry and we waited about a half hour just for the appetizers. And when we got there, they were not busy, but it did get busy 30 mins after we got there, and we still had not gotten our appetizers yet. And I never saw the same waitress twice. The wait staff were polite, thou. The food & portions were just okay. The Mac&Cheese balls had so much salt on them that I couldnt taste anything else but the salt. Whats up with that? The onion rings were okay, not the best Ive had. (When the Onion rings at Sonic are better than these, its an issue) The ribs were just okay, they could have been cooked a bit more. If this is the kind of food that locals think is "great", then it is no wonder that people have health problems. I would not think of this place again when looking for a place to eat.

$22 for 20 buffalo wings is very expensive($20 plus $2 tip). The problem is that they were terrible. Someone go up to Buffalo to the Anchor bar where they were invented and youll learn they do not come breaded or dipped in flour like yours. Also your so called Buffalo wings were over cooked to the point they were almost black. They were very oily with very little sauce. I specifically asked not to have the wings with a coating on them but was told its the only way you serve them. For the record as my family is from Buffalo - Buffalo wings are not coated or breaded they are deep fried then dipped in a mixture of Franks Hot sauce and real butter. Anchor Bars Buffalo Chicken Wings (Serves 2 as a snack) Ingredients 8–10 cups of canola or peanut oil 2 1/2 lb fresh chicken wings (12–16 whole wings) Optional: Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper 1/2 cup Anchor Bar Wing Sauce(Franks Wing Sauce) 1/4 cup melted butter for medium spiciness, or to taste Celery sticks Blue cheese dip

No doubt, this place has great wings. That said, it has major customer service problems. First, it took 20 minutes for our waitress just to come over and give us menus. During those 20 minutes the table in back of us left in a huff as soon as their entrees came out. After that, our waitress apologized to the table in front of us. Not a good sign. I soon figured out why. We ordered 20 wings, fries, and a french onion soup. Not a big order, not that hard to make. We waited OVER AN HOUR to get our food. Does it really take that long to drop chicken and fries into a deep fryer? Does it really take that long to ladle soup out of a pot? And did we see our waitress once during our wait? Not once. We had to flag down another waitress just to pay. I love their wings but its not worth 2 hours of my time.

The food here used to be amazing. I dont know what happened. I ordered nachos without even looking at the menu, because I figured they would be great no matter what since this place used to be well known for their food. The bartender *did* explain to me what came on top of them, but to be honest I didnt pay attention and just said "yes, thats fine" (again, because this place has always been known to have great food and I figured they would be great no matter what). Well, it turns out I should have listened to her, because the nachos simply just had melted American cheese, tomatoes, jalapenos, on top and a side of sour cream and salsa. My friend also wasnt particularly fond of his cheese steak. We were both really disappointed.

Sat at a table, so did not encounter the payment problems of the last review. Ordered 10 wings, and definitely couldve had more drumsticks, but wasnt bad enough to be a dealbreaker. I love heat, real heat, so I ordered "Bald Eagle" style. I am usually disappointed when I order "XXX hot" wings at most places, but these, I am not ashamed to admit I could not finish. If youre not used to that, I would get one of the normal sauces, but I didnt get to try them. Service was great, even for a Friday night, however, the band was excessively loud, but most places do that. In short, my visit was more than acceptable, and I would definitely go again.

Greeted by a lovely NO COLORS ALLOWED sign, whatever that means. We arrived at 5:40pm during happy hour, and sat ourselves down. Waitress got drinks for us, then left. For 20 minutes we sat there, waitress stated she forgot we were hear at the exact time happy hour was over. Coincidence? Took our order and never returned. A different waitress brought our food out. The wings were really good, wouldve told our waitress that; however, we had to fetch a different waitress just to ring out our bill. Worst dining experience Ive ever had. The food was good, not worth the service however.

Been here multiple times and will never go back after our last experience. Food is okay, service and especially ownership is TERRIBLE! Last visit was for takeout only, part of our order was missing and due to us living 40 mins away, I called multiple times to get a refund for the missing food... apparently ownership is the only staff that can handle this and after multiple attempts, I never received a call back. If you want to have your money stolen by owners who only care about their bottom line, then by all means, visit the Jug

Exquisitely prepared, fried bar food. Tremendous buffalo wings, but still mustering the courage to try the hottest of the available options. Underwhelming tap selection of craft beer, but that shortcoming is sufficiently offset by variety of specialty beers by the bottle. On a $/calorie basis, the price cant be beat. There is a splendid, long shuffleboard in the basement room (the original Jug Handle bar). Vastly superior alternative to the other franchise bar options in the area.

I went on a Friday night and it was beyond packed it was a little difficult to find parking so try not to go too late at night. They also had a live band which made the vibe of the bar so much better. Unfortunately I think personally that their drinks are not strong enough. You have an option to stay upstairs or downstairs and has nice patio outside to get some fresh air. Would definitely go back again plus they have chickens in the tree

I grew up in Cinnaminson and this was always a staple place to hang out. Decent wings (although my last visit the sauce was watery and didnt stick to the wings well) good beer selection, and regular bar food -nothing fancy to speak of. The atmosphere has always been good and Ive never had any problems with service. Still one of my favorite local bars for just hanging out and grabbing a drink or two.

"a long and comfortable bar surrounding a bunch of stuff in the middle greets visitors to this ""neighborhood-type"" cafe located on the busy bridge highway linking northeast philly with south jersey. is everyone coming for their famous chicken wings? that seems to be the case although the other menu items ring true for visiting tasters who pack this large bar-room at lunchtime and evening hours."
