Went to the New Park Tavern for a friends surprise 50th birthday. There was a group of around 30 and the restaurant could not keep up. They were under staffed, but the servers who were there moved non stop trying to keep the business moving. It took 1 1/2 hours between the first guest being served and the last two (including myself) not getting food at all. When they finally put my order in again, multiple people in the party already had their food wrapped. The "food" I was served was a pile of gristle and meat scraps that I sent back as inedible. Others ordered the same steak over the hour an a halfand it looked delicious unlike what they scrounge together for the last plate. I see no upside to this establishment. Mediocre food if you ever get served. Poor attitude by the manager. With all the other places in the area, I would avoid this restaurant.

I had a dinner party for 30 people on Sat. 3/18/17 for my sons 50th birthday. The service was terrible, they could not get the food to the tables so that everyone could eat at about the same time. Many were finished before others were served. One of my guests ordered the steak tips and they gave him a dish of scraps and we had to send it back, and he had nothing to eat because everyone else was done. They had one waitress for two full rooms and she had to help at the bar. The food in general was very good. I told the manager, that if she could not manage a party of 30, I should have been told when I made the reservation. I will never have a party there again.

Disappointed is an understatement. You hear how great a place is then unfortunately does not live up to the word of mouth. With that said the mistakes just kept coming here. First off my wife never got her drink and they didnt seem to care. The pizza took forever, to the point that my kids started crying cause they got so hungry. To make matters worse they brought the wrong pizza and took it away. The waitress kept saying the kitchen is backed up. They are more focused on their to go orders than the customer that are seated. Will not be a repeat customer here

The Pizza is the Best in my view. Thin crust good taste. I like em a little well done! Have been going here for 15 years, the waitresses know and remember us, the other food is OK, occasionally Ill have the spaghetti and meatballs. But I am addicted to the Pizza.... So its difficult to really judge anything else... and realize I lived across the street from Grimaldis Pizzeria in Brooklyn....

Make no mistake about it, the only class this restaurant would have is working, and its color is faded blue. The food is distinct, the ambiance is old North Jersey, and I love it. I have dined here throughout all my years (There have been many). The thin crust pizza and numerous other dishes are rather tasty. I recommend for a casual chew, or a beer in sad company

Nice local bar/restaurant to go to. Their pizza is pretty good but too cheezy for my taste, but it seems lots of people like cheezy pizza, so to each their own. You can get other bar menu things here like burgers, wings, etc. The food is pretty good and it is a very inviting place to come to.

The food is phenomenal; best thin crust pizza and their weekend specials cant be beat! The entire staff is friendly and courteous. The fillet mignon on toast points with garlic sauce and REAL homemade onion rings are beyond delicious! Best marinara sauce too!

Great pizza, good prices, and live entertainment. Locals frequent this place and weekends can get crazy. There is a large bar in the front and dining tables in the back. Love playing photohunt on the megatouch machine.

The pizza is quite possibly the best in town and you cant beat the price of the beers. Great atmosphere, and on the weekends they offer either a live band or some good old karaoke.
