Ive never been turn away from a restaurant in my life. We could not believe it. We had 13 people and said we could be split up. Our group was in town for a bowling tournament. This restaurant was recommended to us. We were turn away because they had a party in one room and only one other waitress working. They must have know about the party in the back room, so they should have more waitress staff working. They didnt even suggest for us to wait in the bar till they could accommodate us. The bar was empty. We figure they lost a food bill of about $600.00, not to say what the bar bill would have been.

We went here for Turkey Dinner on Thanksgiving, and while the website said 2 dinners for for $28, yet they charged us $21.95 a person for the meal. When we brought this to their attention they stated too bad we dont run specials on the weekends. Last I checked Thanksgiving was on a Thursday not a weekend! Stay Away they will overcharge you for badly prepared food, the service was terrible, and dont get me started on the disgusting decor.

Lunch menu was exorbitantly over-priced for the quality. We expected so much more than the tasteless and mediocre dishes for how much they were charging. The seasonal fruit side seemed to have been prepared by someone who has never eaten fruit before. The fruit was cut far too close to the rind and still had seeds and pulp attached. All around lackluster dishes for double the money they are worth.

Traveling Superintendent, i eaten at diners and restaurants all over the states from California to Maine and michigan to Texas. As far as this place goes, Id rank it as slightly above average, quaint setting, nice ambiance. As far as price 42.00 for a steak is a bit high. Ive paid less for better quality. And I always order every restaurants premier dish to see how good they are. I give 3 stars....

Over priced and under seasoned. We stopped in to try this place tonight and while our servers were great the food left much to be desired. Waited over 17 minutes for two burgers and they were extremely greasy and tasteless. The prices are way out of line for quality and a very poor menu. Id rather spend the same amount on a meal at other lake Geneva restaurants than return to this place.

Bad experience but great food. Our waitress said some inappropriate things and did not know when to stop talking. She acted as if she didnt know anything about the how a restaurant was ran or had any restaurant knowledge at all. Food was good and the prices may be high but you do get what you pay for, the servings are large.

Prices are high, even for this area. Unscrupulous staff member REPRINTED my credit card slip and SIGNED MY NAME to it after adjusting the tip to over $40. Credit to the management, they did make it right as soon as I provided the proof that I had right away and were very apologetic......

We just "discovered" this restaurant thats been here for over 20 years - and were sorry we havent tried it before! Really enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. Everyone in our party of 6 had different entrees and all were excellent. Well be coming back here again soon.

This is like one of those places featured on restaurant impossible. The owners should not own a restaurant and the staff made incorrect career choices. The food is decent. Service is incompetent. Our server was more concerned about telling us about upcharges than the food.

We have been coming to the Red Geranium for the last ten years and make this the first stop when we make are annual Lake Geneva weekend. My wife and I come specifically for the great wine selection and the best she crab soup I have ever had.

Been going here for years. I love the atmosphere and the food. The house salad is always fresh with great dressings. The filet is impeccable and the fish fry is also great. As far as price I have no complaints. You get what you pay for.

Excellent! Best restaurant we visited during our stay in Lake Geneva. Had brunch on Sunday - Eggs Benedict was superb. My daughter had the French Toast - also excellent.
