This was quite possibly my worst dining experience in Las Cruces--it was epically bad. My husband and I had been here once before but were not impressed with the food or the drinks, but came for a friends birthday dinner. It was quite busy in a Monday night, which was understandable given their Monday special, but we were greeted by a very rude hostess who told us multiple times it would be a long wait before agreeing to even write our name down for a party of fifteen. One woman, a lady in a colorful apron, was actually quite accommodating and secured us a table for nine while we waited for another table to clear out, so we were seated within a reasonable time (at least those of us who could fit there, but the rest sat at the bar). Little did we know the wait and small table would be the least of our worries. After several minutes we were, and I use this term loosely, "greeted" by our server Damian, whom I can only hope was seriously stoned. The birthday girl and her husband clearly ordered a bottle of wine, and after he brought us waters several more minutes later they asked to check on it and he told them they had never ordered any wine from him. Eventually, after asking another server their wine came. Much later Damian took our order. Our empty water glasses went unnoticed until well after the food arrived. Two of the party ordered a pizza which came out much later than everyone elses food and was significantly smaller. Upon receipt of the bill they discovered their pizza was also twice as expensive than everyone elses despite its small size. When they followed up with the bartender (because our server was AWOL for such a long period), they were told smaller pizzas dont get a discount, which is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, as it was literally less than half the size of the others. Just as our food arrived, nearly 40 minutes into our dining experience the table next to ours was able to pay their bill (they had their card out and were signaling for nearly fifteen minutes before being served) and the nice lady in the apron cleared it for the rest of our party to be seated. Damian never once smiled, said sorry for the wait, or provided any other semblance of hospitality. As a former server I make Many allowances for servers during a rush, especially with a large party like ours, but he did not even offer a sliver of saving grace for himself. The food, again, was okay but definitely not enough to redeem this horrible experience. Will not return.

UPDATE.... DISSAPOINTING AGAIN these people cannot handle a rush, but I must be missing something because the place is packed..maybe its the wine? Service bad... food so so. Nothings changed. I came and met with a small group of friends never got anything to drink, waiter was non existant until the so called food finally showed up.... cold. At this point even Dominos is more Gourmet. Usually I really like this place, this time I was with a large party and found they had a table placement where it should only be a walkway. There was a cold vent blowing on some of the guests and it took an act of Congress to get it closed. My meal had clams, I get a similar meal at another restaurant with a larger portion and much more clams. However the dish here was like eating dirt. The cooks seemed to have crushed a whole clam an dumped the shell fragments in the food. Everyone who ordered a panini stated it was dry and bland. Even the waitress seemed overextended and didnt fill any drinks. This whole night seemed miss managed in my opinion.

THEY. DONT. CARE. Came in on Saturday night, traveling by myself. Waited about 10 minutes for a table which was expected. They serve their own wines for a reasonable price, nothing to write home about, but for $6, I got a good pour. Ordered a pizza; it seemed to take a while, and was confirmed when I saw tables around me who arrived after me get their pizzas while I waited. They also got grated cheese offered to them. My pizza finally arrived, BURNT on half of it. I was offered the option of having another one made, but since I was hungry I declined. On tasting the first slice, it was very good, but COLD. At that point, the manager got involved, and comped my pizza (which I was NOT OFFERED the chance to take home to microwave and heat it up). So very the upshot is that Im still hungry, its late and fast food is not an option for me. I go to bed hungry (staying in a hotel) due to kitchen and waitress incompetence. I will not go back due to the indifference shown to the customer. Spend your money on a business who cares.

My husband loves this place! Im there for the wine ! They have the best summer Sangria, house prepared. It is perfect with lunch on a hot summer day. Fresh apples and oranges floating around are wonderful to nibble on. My husband like their home made pizzas and calzones. I always order the stacked high traditional lasagna. The portions have been increased so you leave feeling full. The establishment is clean and organized, tables are always full. You can eat inside or on the wonderful patio. Im always about patios in the summer. You can also buy wonderful wine to take home with you. Service is good as well. This is in the Old Mesilla area which is wonderful to explore if you have a day to do so. I recommend this place anytime !!!

I want to express how disappointing our visit was on Mothers Day. We got sat down promptly, but we waited a good 15 min before I had to get up and ask the hostess to please send someone over. Waiters were all over the place passing us but NEVER making eye contact. The hostess didnt apologize and didnt say anything actually. A waitress overheard me and decided to take care of us even though it seemed like we were a bother to her. She was okay but like I said acting like we were a burden. The meal was below average, my salad was teeny tiny, much smaller than they usually are. The pizza was average. I also noticed that everyone was being asked if they were a mother. No one asked me.

In search of an Italian winery resturaunt that has the service personal that know how to serve wine. Gave them a second chance , worst meal ive had in las cruces !! Spaghetti with tomato sauce , wow , un eatable sauce was like water spaghetti was over cooked . Sons lettece tasted dirty . Looks like their on a downward spiral !! I prefer my wine to be opened at the table, I would like to taste it before it is poured for my guests. I dont care to have it poured like milk out of a carton . Wait service is marginal. Unaccommodating and argumentative. Gelato is wonderful. Their either trying to be something their not, or think they have arrived when they havent. Overall, fair

Came in with a group of friends to have multiple bottles of wine and pizzas and had the absolute worst service... waters were empty.... we had to ask for our waiter multiple times to ask for more wine. We had two vegans that asked for a certain pizza and they didnt do the order correctly and had to send the pizza back. We ask for a manager when we got the ticket because they added an 18% gratitude to each of our tickets, the manager was rude and walked away mid sentence until we asked for the female manager. She removed the 18%, worst experience ever. I will never recommend this place or tell people about it. I would rather do St Clairs or Double Eagle for dinner
