Great food. TERRIBLE STAFF. We called ahead on a Sunday to see if the 8.49 special was going on today and was all day. We asked three times, and the lady said yes all three times. We get our bill and were charged the 12.49 dinner. I went to ask why they said 8.49 if it wasnt and the girl behind the desk said "I dont think I said that. I think I said 12.49." So I told her that is not what I was told and preceded to ask if 12.49 is ok for today. I told her no because I was told 8.49. Her manager then asked me what I can afford today and how much I have on me in a rude tone. This was none of her business and very rude. It was not a matter of being able to afford it, it was the matter of being told one thing and charged another. THEN they made me show them my call log, and looked on their caller ID to see if I called. VERY VERY rude and VERY VERY incompetent.

First time we dined here was a Saturday night at 8pm and the crowd was a whole lot thinner than I expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of dishes they offered from blackened pepper chicken, steamed pork buns, spicy crawfish, and an endless seafood selection. I had my fill and a half of sushi and sashimi that was DELICIOUS. The only gripe I have about Yoki is that I didnt notice the ice cream until after I had already eaten my coffee cake because it was tucked away by the fresh fruit. Overall, great food and service for the price!

I was really looking forward to trying Yoki Buffet & after eating their Friday Seafood Buffet, I left disappointed. The regular food on the buffet offered nothing new when it comes to flavor & was very cookie cutter & tasted bland. The sushi was fairly good & fresh but nothing spectacular or special. The one thing they really did well were the spicy boiled Crawfish which I ate a ton of. I will try again after they get their feet under them with hopes the food amps up and doesnt take like every other Chinese buffet.

My wife and I have been going to this buffet about once a week since it opened. The last 2 times we went, it was disappointing. We went 2 days ago at 6 pm. Even though they charged dinner prices, the food was no different than lunch menu. No crab legs were out, which is usually the justification for the dinner price hike. The Mongolian grill was closed, too. If you ask me, I would say go somewhere else. This place has gone downhill ever since it opened. We paid 30 bucks for a lunch quality buffet. Never again!!

The restaurant offers a good selection of Asian dishes including sushi. We came in year around closing and was impressed they continued to put out fresh and hot food at closing. By suburb american standards, this place may be a 4 star but hot items lack authenticity and are the typical deep fried drizzled in sauce hence my 2 star rating. Sushi was the best thing here and the price was good. Also, desserts were not very good. Jello was dry and the ice cream contained way too much sugar.

Ive been wishing for a good Chinese buffet in town for a long time, and this hit the spot! Great ambiance, highly attentive wait staff, hot fresh food, and lots of options. The buffet was great. I personally enjoyed having four soup options. The spring rolls tasted like they had been made from scratch. The hibachi grill and the sushi add some nice variety. The sushi is good for a buffet--they keep it fresh. This place is doing things right!

The sushi selection and architecture are incredible, but I wished the rest of the food was that way. Other than the sushi and desert, there is only one line for "regular food" at the buffet. There arent many selections. They do have a nice hibachi stand and a peculiar noodle stand that Ive never seen at an Asian buffet, but these two options arent particularly amazing. Still, there are nice things to look at while you wait.

The atmosphere is great! They took the building Hometown buffet used to be in and made it look fancier and more spacious! The buffet is pretty big! Plenty of fresh fruit, like pineapple, grapes, cantelope and delicious grilled chicken, and fresh fish, ect. Their was meat buns, mushroom soup and I really enjoy the corn fritters. Right now, lunch prices are $8.49 until 3.30pm which is awesome! Great place!

The pictures look good on their website but didnt have those items on their buffet. Food was very bland and several items we tried had a terrible taste. I agree with other remarks Ive seen, it does taste like precooked food they warmed up. Several signs above the dishes wasnt marked correctly. Glad we tried it but not sure if I would try again. On a good note, Staff was very friendly.

The Yoki Buffet is new, clean, fresh, and delicious! They have a great selection of sushi, their buffet has something for everyone and its all so good! I tried about 20 different things, and liked almost all of them. Louisville has been missing a great Asian buffet for a long time, but no longer. This place is good and its inexpensive. (At least at lunch..$8.50 per adult)

New, and very busy in the evening, when we left there was a 20 minute wait. However I would rather go to a buffet when its busy because the food is usually fresher. They have a Mongolian grill, kids section ( pizza and Mac and cheese). Also a sushi and sashimi bar, regular Chinese food and a dessert section. Dinner is 13 dollars a person and you have a server.

I am currently in Louisville for business and was unsure about this place due to reading several reviews. I was extremely satisfied with the food and service. Lots of different choices and everything I ate was great. I went at 6:45 PM today and there were probably 20 cars in the parking lot. Will definitely return b4 my business trip ends.

Nothing special for a buffet that just opened. All the food is your average pre-packaged chinese food. Same as every other place. The desert bar has alot of food but nothing good in my opinion. The oddest part was that you scooped your own ice cream and they had a sink full of standing water that had ice cream scoopers in them.

Buffets are hit or miss. This is a big miss. I would not waste your money to come here. Staff was friendly but the food is God awful. Sushi rice tastes like microwaved rice that is a couple days old. I had 3 plates full and only ate a small amount on each one, until I gave up and left hungry and disapppointed.

Not good, I eat almost everything, but this was poor quality. I dont know if it was because we ate so early (about 5:45) everything was tired, the sushi was tired, the crab rangoon was tired, everything was mediocre at best. I had a hard time finding food I liked. Hey, the banana pudding was pretty good though.

I think its almost impossible to do quantity and quality, but overall Yokis does a pretty good job! The only thing that I was disappointed in was the hibachi grill. The food was prepared fresh, but it didnt have a lot of flavor. However there was enough on the buffet to make up for it! Well go back for sure!
