My friends liked Baci at the old location so we went to the new location to celebrate a birthday. It was packed but the wait wasnt bad. Once we got seated though, it was like we were forgotten. We Ordered the Antipasta Ala Baci and didnt care for it so we left it. After what felt like forever our waitress finally said she would box it up & as she walked away she said she would put our food order in. It was 9pm by then and we told her if she hadnt put in or order to cancel it because we were going to miss our movie. She was a little argumentative & said the owner doesnt want them serving while the appetizer is still on the table & that it would just take 5 minutes and if we wanted she would just box it up. Given it is supposed to be fresh Italian food I was a little concerned what it would taste like if it was only going to be 5 minutes. We got the orange roughy Florentine, the sirloin tips (nightly special) and the spicy meatballs (nightly special). One friend said the spicy meatball was pretty good but the orange roughy was so bad my other friend couldnt eat it and the sirloin tips were almost as bad. When the waitress came back to box them up my friend tried to tell her how bad the food was but she wouldnt even listen and just took the plate away and gave us a bill for $73 (we had a tea and 2 waters). I dont think I have ever had service or food this bad before and for that much, I would have been more satisfied going to a fast food restaurant and then throwing the rest of the money away. Sweets was right in saying that friends got preference, the owner even took our waitresses attention away from us to say that the next table was from New York so my friend said Im from New York too but the waitress just walked away. My friends were repeat customers but they will never go back and neither will I.

I will never return to this place again! We were completely ignored when we walked in the door. I stood at the counter for 5 minutes while waitresses gave me looks as if they had no clue what to do, and the girl at the counter would just look at me and look away. The owner is a very loud guy who made me feel uncomfortable with every word and glare. He had no clue why I would be standing at the counter, and when I told him I was still waiting to get my name down, the hostess excuse was that shed been on the phone the entire time (no she hadnt!). We waited 15 minutes to be seated and ended up getting the table next to the entrance which was loud. The owner didnt help with his extremely loud voice. The decor does not resemble Italy at all. And the music was hip hop. Neither gave any bit of Italian influence. It was another 20+ minutes before we got our food. Our waitress was great, very attentive. But the food was a disaster. My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan. The marinara tasted store-bought, and the chicken was over cooked. I ordered the Linguine with Clams. They clams were dirty and there was sand in the dish. They used wayyy too much oil and too many chunks of garlic. My mom ordered Pasta Paisano. Shes from Croatia so shes use to curing and roasting proscuitto. It was soo salty she couldnt even take a second bite. The waitress was great, she said shed take it off our bill and my mom ended up eating half my dish. But the owner can up and said he had five people try her dish and that it tasted fine. He said she has no clue what curing is, even though she explained her experience curing pork. He ended up not charging us for it, even though he seemed determined to make us feel like idiots.

100 % super fantastic . Way better then any other Italian restaurant in Arizona . Actually Im originally from Harlem avenue (Italian area ) in Chicago land and this place completely beats all the Italian food Ive had in Chicago in 37 years . It was so from scratch that I could eat much more and still feel empty . The sauce was out of this world , very dark and rich . I cant stop there. The bartender come to find out is the owners son is a genius making mixed drinks . Now Im Cuban and I tried there Mojito and it was also the very best I have ever had ( I also had the pomegranate margarita and it was just as good . It I felt like I was in a 5 star Vegas restaurant . If anyone post a negative review on this family owned restaurant they must work for another restaurant and are trying to knock down pure genius restaurant success . This is now my #1 place to eat in Arizona . It seams like grandma made these meals and not just any line cook with no food love. This place will for sure double triple into a huge franchise . Brio or Boca de beppo have very hit or miss foods and lack authenticity . There food is frozen and not from scratch . Here it was amazing and totally different class of food/drinks and staff . Even the clam chowder soup was exceptional .The owner made us feel very welcome . This is the outcome of a true Italian american family business run the right way . I cant stop there. We could not find any dust even on the upper vents and the bathrooms smelled and looked 5 star . George

I just LOVE this place! We eat here at least once a week, and sometimes more. Everything I have tasted at Bacis is DELICIOUS, but my favorite is their creamy chicken marsala over penne pasta (made spicy) & their crostinis (which are ALL yummy) but I especially love the meatball ones! Their shrimp advocado ones are a VERY CLOSE 2nd (or 1st, depending on my mood). Try their sampler crostinis (not on the menu) if its your first time. The servings are extremely generous & even the leftovers taste amazing heated up & I typically dont like leftovers. On busy weekends, we order takeout & have a nice, quiet dinner at home. However, when we do dine in, the atmosphere is nice and the staff are SO kind & personable. The owner, Frank is awesome!! He is usually always there taking care of everyone, and is fun & easy to talk to. He typically offers discounts online & sometimes throws in little extras here & there, to make sure his customers are treated right. It would sure be nice if more businesses had this type of service. I secretly wish I could keep this little gem of a place hidden & all to myself (since I dont like waiting for crowded restaurants when I am hungry)... BUT I want to see them stay in business for a LONG time. If you havent been to this fabulous place, give it a go. I promise, you wont be disappointed!

Last night I celebrated my birthday here and it was amazing! The restaurant was recommended by a coworker who lives in the area. A few of my family members wanted to celebrate with us, so my husband made the reservation for 12. Once we got there and sat down, 6 more family members showed up as well. So there all 18 of us were, and this included 5 toddlers, ready to eat-potential nightmare for any restaurant. Our waitress was wonderful! She quickly added seats for our group additions. She took drink orders, brought the kids pizza dough to play with, kept the bread coming as we waited for our meals, and expertly divided our checks. And the food was delicious. I had the gnocchi florentine. The sauce was rich, the gnocchi was perfect, and the spinach was fresh. I stole a piece of the sausage from my husband’s meal and it too was delicious. My sons devoured their fettuccini alfredo. With such a large group you’d think one of us would have a complaint, but we all left full and very satisfied. I highly recommend Bacci to get your Italian fix. They have amazing food, great wine, friendly and efficient staff, and an inviting atmosphere. I look forward to eating here again.
