Very disappointing. After hearing how much everyone loves this restaurant I had to try it. The bread was more French than Tuscan. Stale and falling apart. The shrimp scampi could have been ramen noodles with broth and lemon/lime. The squid ink tagliatelle was hard to keep down. It was more of a watery broth than a delicious flavorful meal. The broth was so lemony that I couldnt taste anything else. I just spent a month in the Tuscany region of Italy. Not once was I disappointed. The squid ink pasta in any of the coastal towns in cinque terre was to die for! The most rich delicious meal! This was bland, chewy pasta, watered down and missing any good flavors. I wont be back. Only gets two stars because the service was good. Try cafe fresco or the Emerson grill if you want a better meal that closely reflects true, authentic Italian.

We were looking for a good place for a special occasion, and had a great experience! My pasta was around $22 and was very good. We also had the $9 dark chocolate creme brulee which was also amazing. We had to sit outside because they were full (I would suggest making a reservation on busier days), but they made it as comfortable as possible, with seat cushions, blankets, and outdoor heaters. All of the staff we interacted with were incredibly nice and welcoming. Overall an excellent experience - if its in your budget I would highly recommend.

Got the charred Caesar salad with salmon which was really good but grossly over priced. Got a side of Brussels sprouts, just slightly over cooked for me but still very good with the duck bacon. Total for those two items and only water to drink, $27 before tip. Service was lacking only a one star for that but I didnt go for the service.

Totally not worth it for the prices. Everything was just okay. Was told the ingredients are the best, but that was not reflected in the taste of the food. The owner was drinking wine behind the bar when we got there. If everything was about half price it would be worth going again.

This is one of my favorite Italian restauraunts EVER. Not only is the food to die for, but the staff is well trained, curteous, and consistently delivers a solid dining experience. If you havent tried Blacksmith yet, I would stop waiting. You wont be disappointed!

Food is truly spectacular, making for fine dining at a good price. Dishes are all well balanced, and deserts are a must! Staff was very nice and the owner even came to chat at our table. Cant wait to return~

Service is impeccable. Wine list is very good. I ordered the trout with angel hair pasta and its the best fish Ive ever eaten, soft, moist, decadent, and flavorful! Highly recommend!
