We love going on Tuesdays for the hooked on Tuesday deal! Good food for a good price. We go all the time for that, and the bang bang shrimp. Service is great too. PS: I read a review from a few years ago from someone named Juan--complaining that the manager was being racist for asking to see a passport when he presented his b1/b2 visa to order a drink. This is a STATE LAW, and not just in Illinois. Its not a "company policy" and its certainly not a rule thats going to change! State law is very clear on what FOUR types of identification can be accepted for purchasing alcohol. You may have a passport from any country, an active US military ID, a US drivers license or a US ID card. It is completely illegal to accept any other forms of ID (including visas) for the sale of alcohol. Be responsible! No one should be expected to risk going to jail and losing their job so that you can have a drink!

Some how a place were people from other Country are required to carry passport in order to get a Drink seems in a way Racist, me and a group of colleges walked in for dinner and were asked for ID in order to get a drink, we showed our B1/B2 Visa(a document provided by the US) and the manager said that we had to have a Passport in order to confirm my Age we said we are not required be carrying our passports if we have a visa and replied "how come you dont have a passport" which sounded like he was talking to illegal aliens, we all decided to walk out of there to never come back. hope this review helps to change that stupid company policy, but damage is already done.

Just as the name describes it, Bonefish Girill is a great place for seafood! Their menu offers starters, soups, salads, seafood, and other entrees. One of my favorite starters is their Calamari. It is deep fried and served with red peppers and a sweet asian sauce. When you order your seafood you can have it baked, grilled or fried. They also offer several sauces for your seafood which include lemon butter, asian, warm mango salso, and chimichurri sauce. I have tried the Mahi-Mahi, Grouper, and Salmon. All were delicious and the wait staff offered suggestions on sauce and drink pairings. Service was great and atmopshere appealing!

Went here for my birthday. Called in advance and was told theres no need for a reservation. Got there 15min later and place was packed. Was told 15min for initial wait upon arrival. Waited 30min to ask and was told another 20min. Seemed as if they were catering to an older crowd as we talked to another couple and they said the same was happenening to them as we watched one after another walkins get seated before us. Hostess seemed emotional and flustered when we asked about the situation. In the end we left. Wed been to this chain before and the food certainly isnt worth what they were asking of our time.

Delicious! We were seated quickly during Sunday brunch time and sat on the patio because it was such a lovely day. The service was great. We started with the calamari, which was fantastic, perfectly cooked. They also give you bread with olive oil for dipping, yum! My bf had the surf n turf eggs Benedict, and I had the asparagus and crab omelette. Both were delicious! The au gratin potatoes are outstanding, cheesy, melt in your mouth goodness! For the appetizer and our entrees, it was $39. Well worth it, especially considering that we have leftovers! We will most definitely be back.

This restaurant is the most disorganized restaurant I have been to. Had reservations at 3:45, didnt sit till 4:30. Ok its Mothers Day I understand. Then they said the food will be an hour because the kitchen was backed up after we sat down. After an hour and half our server said it would take another 40 minutes. We decided to cancel our meals after sitting in the restaurant for almost 3 hours and no food in sight. I wouldnt recommend this place. There are plenty of other restaurants with similar menu with good food that is served in a acceptable amount of time even on Mothers Day.

Excellent experience - Wed night , glad we had reservations! Server Renee was great, experienced and helpful ! BangBang shrimp always a favorite , we tried the Lobster and Ahi Tartare tacos. Ahi Tuna tacos the winner between the 2. Bonefish could wrap the entire wonton "taco" with a soft flour or corn taco to keep the whole thing from fracturing at first bite ! Nit picking here , I have a hard time with the round chop sticks - could I please have the square ones?:)

Highly priced food, no value, mediocre service. Ridiculous upcharge for 5 very short overcooked pieces of unseasoned asparagus. Broccoli was undercooked and uninspired--also no seasoning. Grilled snapper was only OK. Grilled rainbow trout was tiny. I expected much more from a high end high priced fish restaurant. Wait staff was borderline rude and inattentive. Not visiting one of these franchises any time soon.

Three words: Bang Bang Shrimp! And the the tasty food doesnt stop there. There are lots of fish and meat dishes with wonderful side sauces, a sizable drink menu (with happy hour deals) along with some personable staff that really goes beyond simple waiting and does great work recommending dishes and proving great service. Im most disappointed I didnt visit this place sooner.

Juan, b1/b2 visas dont display your age. He probably questioned your age because its a student visa. State law requires restaurants to check valid identification documents before serving beverages, and the only valid ids are drivers licenses, ID cards, and passports. The manager was following the law, not being racist. This place has amazing food! Ignore Juan.

Its, basically, ordinary seafood. You pay for the ambiance, the drinks, and the service, not the food. Bang Bang Shrimp is Bonefish Grills answer to boneless wings. Scallops are just as good as youd make at home. Shrimp is average. Salmon is average. Tuna.... is actually very good. You will wait at least 25 minutes for your food, if not longer.

Group of 6 of us early Monday evening...made a reservation & glad we did, as the restaurant filled quickly. Cocktails delicious; food plentiful; service EXCEPTIONAL! Thank you to Bill & our server Nate, but also (especially?) to the entire team of servers, bussers & runners who kept our plates cleared & drinks full. Thank you, thank you.

The Sips & Sampling was a fun way to try something new. While the six Bar Bites were plated for each couple or party to share, the Saucy Shrimp appetizer was served family style. One appetizer for four persons, another for two persons. I would have preferred it to have been served per couple for better portion control.

I live in Florida and found Bonefish Grill near my home. Love the food, the bread, the drinks and the staff. I work in Illinois temporarily and was so happy to find a location near by. Still my favorite place with the Cosmopolitan martini one of the best here. Thank You!

Superb! Our waitress was wonderful. She heard that I had heartburn and tried to find me Tums. Great food, great service. They even took my grandmas 4 coupons even though I think we could only use one. Great dinner and my grandma was very happy.
