sorry excuse for "italian" food. Not good. A large antipasto salad was almost $8 and it was just a giant pile of cheap iceberg lettuce .(the salad consisted of 97 percent iceburg lettuce !) It literally had only 4 olives in it and they were not quality olives. They were NOT kalamata olives or quality green olives. They were like cheap olives from a can . There was only like 5 pieces of tomato and they were not ripe. The meat was cheap. It was not quality...just the cheapest walmart lunch meats thrown on top. There was 2 or 3 pieces of cheese. ..like very cheap cheese slices for sandwiches. They just threw em in there ...not cut or anything. THIS IS NOT A QUALITY ITALIAN RESTAURANT. The cannoli was so-so it was ok . I wouldnt call it a quality cannoli . Ive had quality cannoli and this wasnt quality and I dont think it was made with ricotta cheese ..but it was OK.. I guess. We felt insulted by that salad. Also why no light turned on above the table. ?? None of the lights were turned on . It would have been nice to have the option of having the light for our table turned on! It was evening. I never been to italian kitchen before . .we were both disappointed . very small place. They could at least make their small place nice by decorating. example; they need nice table cloths and they need lights turned on ,above the table if its evening!..cute stained glass light fixtures but no lights were on and it was evening!! If your gonna charge these kinda prices then at least have nice table cloths if you dont have nice tables. A restaurant with Cheap ingrediants and high prices for their cheaply made food. Certain things on the menu might be ok but if they are gonna make a salad like that then how good can the rest of the food be ??? If you wanna go here then order the cheapest thing on menu (like about $5 and under ..) and then just leave . Its not a romantic place, its not a nice place to eat alone either. It doesnt seem be homemade . I ordered something else that seemed like they just took it out of a bag and threw it in a deep fryer. It didnt look like they cut it ,breaded wet it,fried it. It looked like it was processed at a factory . It tasted good..but you could tell they didnt make it there . I dont wanna compliment their food at all by saying what it was.

Cute little house turned into restaurant. I came in and wasnt greeted, so looked for a place to sit. Every empty table was dirty. I was OK with that since they were rather busy. The waiter/busboy started to clear off the trash from another table and put it on my table directly in front of me without saying a word. Eventually, he got to me and I asked for my table to be cleaned. After 15 minutes, he cleaned my table by pushing the dirty food onto my lap. I was discouraged, but have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. I ordered Chiante. It came out hot and tasted like out of a box. Still not discouraged, i anxciencly awaited the food. It came out unexpectedly fast, which i appreciated as i was hungry. I ordered the Italian Plate as it gives a bit of everything, so I could maximize my experience. The presentation was horrible. It was a lunch size plate with spaghetti, rigotoni, empanadas, and lasagna. The food was overflowing the plate. Everything tasted like SALT, SALT AND SALT. I had to add red peppers just to disguise the salt taste. The waiterm asked how everything was and I told him mediocre at best, trying to be nice. He responded, OK enjoy! I took him to the side later to describe my experience and he had no concern, so I asked to speak with a manager. It has been 20 minutes and havent seen one yet.

Ordered carry out ,went to pick it up and they missed an order of bread. When I asked about it, the waitress apologized, put in the order to the old lady putting the bread in the oven, and she was SO completely and utterly RUDE!! She started yelling and joking about my order of bread (and me) in spanish, while the kitchen staff laughed!!??!!.. Unbelievable how their screw up turned into "the customer" being humiliated.. Unprofessional to say the very least and degrading.... Never again!! No customer deserves to be treated this way,EVER!!! ( fyi, this review was originally posted 7 months ago however, I just noticed that google did not make it public because of a " bad word that was used")

While they serve hearty portions and have nice waiters, the food was bland and old. The restaurant is not very well kept either, everything from the chairs to the tables felt grimy and dirty. Its an old house and they use utensils and plates that are for homes rather than restaurants. And it was hot in there. They put too much olive oil on our salad. Not restaurant quality at all. We couldve made a much better chicken sandwich and pasta at home. We reluctantly took our leftovers home.

The salad to start is great. The homemade Italian dressing is amazing and I get extra to take home. The sandwiches and pasta are delicious. You cant go wrong when you ask for the pasta baked. This place gets crowded but its for a reason. Because the food is great. It has a very homey feel to it. The waitress has always been very attentive to my family and myself. They work with items on the menu to satisfy your needs. I wouldnt go anywhere else in town for Italian.

Came here with my family for lunch. Pictures its of $8.00 lunch lasagna came with salad. Our order of 2 lunch lasagnas (baby size if you ask me) and one chicken parmesan took about 40 minutes. My wifes came on a chipped plate. When I asked the waitress what took so long she just looked at me and said enjoy and walked off. Youd be much better off to go somewhere else in my opinion. After we leave here were going to go get something to eat. :-(

A whole in the wall. Bad service. The Waitresses dont speak English. They didnt come serve us after wed been sitting there for like 15 min, just for our drinks. The table was dirty, disgusting. It was so crowded everyone was bumping into each other, people eating, running into them. The prices are really high. Way over priced for that place. Its a joke. Would not recommend to anyone.

Just because youre an Italian restaurant doesnt mean you should serve pizza. The sauce was good but the dough was no better than Little Caesars pizza. My wife had the Italian Link Sausage and Peppers and it was very satisfying. The Italian sausage wasnt fatty at all to where it would leave a film on you tongue. The meat sauce for the pasta was light and refreshing.

Building is old and needs full renovation. The servers were very friendly, but food was not good. Flavor was bland. Salad lettuce and cucumbers had been frozen. The best thing was the garlic bread. The worst was Jalapeño poppers . Not what I expected after experiencing the West side store a few years ago.

Five stars for a delicious meal! I felt like I walked into someones grandmas house & was served a meal shed been making for decades. My husband & I split a half order of lasagna & made it a "dinner" for $6 more each. ..a salad (w/ antipasto & housemade vinaigrette,) soup, bread & spumoni. Go here!
