My buddy and I walked over looking for a Cuban restaurant and came across this place. It was a little sketchy at first since there was only one other group eating and this is a pretty big place by Bergenline standards. Turns out we were just early for dinner as the place filled up soon after we got there. Our waiter was Roberto and he was all business. So much so that my buddy was a bit intimidated! Lol! To me, the guy was pretty cool. He made suggestions, took our order, and got us our drinks- -one banana and one mango smoothie. When the food arrived, it was aromatic, looked decadent, and the taste was just spectacular! My friend ordered the bistec palomilla and I got the masitas de cerdo. We ordered tostones and yuca and we went to town!!! It turned out to be too much food! We bagged half of it and took it to go! Check time came and Roberto was on point again. This time he even had a smile for us. Dont pass on this place if youre hungry for some good Cuban food!

Quite possibly one of the best lunches you can buy in NJ, period. For an average of $6-$7 you get a large portion of a great entree (I am a huge fan of the roasted chicken, which is so well cooked and marinated that it literally falls off the bones), and two good sized sides (rice and beans here is delicious and enough to feed 2 people). Sometimes theres a little bit of a language barrier (if you know even a little Spanish youll be fine), but otherwise its a good lunch to sit and eat or take with you. And did I mention they have Ironbeer? Awesome!

I used come here often with another coworker for lunch. Not only is the food cheap ($6 for lunch!), but its delicious! Portion size is ridiculous entree can often be shared for two people. My favorite: 1) the breaded chicken breast or 2) sauteed chicken in garlic sauce. Lunch specials come with a huge portion of white rice (or arroz moro) and platanos.

This place is great. The food is so good and not expensive.. Plus they make the best Sangria ever..You Have to try there Chuleta a LA Plancha with white rice n pink beans that have chorizo in it. Its the best and Dont forget the Pitcher of Sangria.. Wow...I Really Love that Place..

The food is mostly Cuban fare and other dishes from the rest of Latinoamerica, the food is excellent and I have tried many different things, liver a la italiana, tostones, beens and rice, fish, and i find that everything is just excellent.

I enjoy this place,good food cheap n plenty. Love going on Saturdays for a Cuban sandwich n Stella beer which is always super cold. Parking is limited but some lots around.
