We had read a few reviews of Wildflowers and it didnt seem like it would be a bad fit for our group of 12. We were seated quickly at a bar in the back of the restaurant, and at first we were happy that we had a mostly private space to ourselves (and all 6 kids) but it didnt turn out to be so great. We were right next to the service station and what I assume are the "downtime" tables. The tables behind us had various notebooks and office supplies strewn about, and the tables across from us were still dirty and didnt get bussed the entire time we were there. Our server Taylor, the only good thing about about this place, was super nice and attentive all night, even as things went south. All of our drinks and food orders were taken correctly and he was top notch - but everything else was pretty much in the tank. The salads were literally huge plates of lettuce with a few pieces of tomato, ONE olive and some onion. The entrees all came out in intervals over the course of about 10 minutes, which is unacceptable. After the all the food arrived, we were told that there was only one order of ribs available -- AFTER the food was on the table -- and that a replacement could be made. Again, AFTER the food was already in front of us. The sweet potato side on one plate was ice cold, as if it was never heated up at all. And the woman who seemed like the manager wasnt cordial at all and almost seemed annoyed at us. We tried to finish what we could, asking for the check as the food came out so we could vacate as soon as we were done. Not a great experience. I noticed a sign on the way out that read, "DINNER: 1. Take It 2. Leave it". Definitely LEAVE IT.

This must be a locals-only place, because if you dont know how to work it, youre out of luck. My friend and I went here for dinner on a Wednesday night. It was lively, but not a mob scene. We were blatantly ignored when we entered. I caught a bartenders eye, and she quickly looked down and avoided acknowledging me. We walked all the way around the bar slowly with no acknowledgment before finally flagging down a waitress to ask if we should seat ourselves or not. She very brusquely and rudely asked if we wanted dining room or bar seating. Well, if thats the service we would get in the dining room, I wasnt going for it; we chose bar. We sat down and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, we decided we had better sit right next to the waitress station--maybe then they would see us. That did get us attention, but the service never became good. We were given one menu which we ended up having to share. The wait for our simple cheeseburgers was unreasonable. The waitress never once checked back with us after we got our food. She did bring us a second round of drinks, but long after they were gone, we ended up asking another waitress for our check. To be fair, my burger was delicious (fries were not--they were dry and rather bland). The beers on tap were decent, though they didnt actually have the Dogfish that was on the beer list. Overall, seems like the place to go for decent food if you know the people and arent afraid to help yourself. If youre just traveling through and looking for a good meal like I was, skip it. Or, if you like halfway decent service, skip it.

A solid local bar. Calling it a dive bar would probably be disingenuous, but its closer to that on the spectrum, and I say that in all the best ways. The place is pretty large, so there seems to be a lot of seating in general, and the bar also wraps around with lots of seating. There are several TVs and they had a couple different channels on (but I went during game 7 of the world series, so most TVs were on that). The tap list was solid - around 15-20 beers, including several local ones, which was great because I am from out of town. The food was pretty good as well. I had a burger, and I liked how they did the sandwich menu. You pick a basic sandwich from a wide variety (in my case, a burger), for a very reasonable price, about $8.50, and then addons ranged from $1-2 for things like cheese, bacon, and a wide assortment of veggies (the usuals, and then things like peppers, mushrooms, etc). The service was ok. It was busy, so no hard feelings, but given that it was a townie bar, the bartenders did spend a lot of time chatting with who I assume to be the regulars, and were hard to flag down. Im traveling here for work and will probably end up here at least once most weeks.

Kens Mussels. This is the primary reason that my husband and I visit Wildflowers on a regular basis! We love these mussels and look forward to each trip. This does not mean we have not tried other items on the menu and I have even brought colleagues here for lunch or ordered take out from their lunch specials. Wildflowers does have a tendency to get crowded and the parking lot reflects this. For months when we were new to the area it was a deterrent to visiting however, we have now figured out the best times to go - shortly before dinner time, early afternoons on the weekends and then have accepted the parking situation and become more patient during prime time hours! Do not miss out and visit Wildflowers today - make sure you get the mussels!

Okay yes the place doesnt have THEE WORLDS GREATEST food but I love everything on the menu. I completely agree with everyones statements about the bartenders, they need to be more efficient. However, I just want to stand up for the people not coming up to you right away...wildflowers has a liquor license, young people can work there however if they are under 18 they cannot provide you with service because it is illegal. They can simply bring out your food and clean up your plates. Just to clear things up. But I love you guys! Just make some minor changes please!!!

Always a good selection of seasonal and standard craft beers. Pub atmosphere that brings all kinds of people together for a drink. TVs throughout the bar make it easy to watch the game or the latest news (fake or otherwise) . Only go with 4 stars because of the food here. The food is just not good. Wings, good... but anything beside that, Id recommend avoiding. Food pricing is high and quality just isnt there. Its too bad, the beer and setup make it a great local place, but hte food drags it down more to the dive bar category.

Worst service ever!!!! the servers were all on their cell phones not paying attention to any customers..we had to wait almost 15 minutes to have a server give us menus and take our drink orders (because all of them were on their cells phone) and then the food was served cold because...ooohhh wait they were on their cells phones even though half the dining room heard the cook dinging his bell several times to alert the servers that someones food was ready....sorry you lost a customer

First of all, be aware that the main entrance is around the side, and the bar entrance is closest to the road. So if you dont get service right away, you went in the wrong door. Definitely a locals hangout, but dont let that keep you away from the excellent bar/pub cuisine and flowing taps. The loaded baked potato was a religious experience and should be promoted to the regular menu. Dining service is very friendly.
