This place is disgusting!! The food is gross and its very dirty inside. Everything inside is ancient and looks like it belongs in the back of a trailor park. The food is turkish style and omg, it is soooo nasty. Not to mention the owners family are so rude. They do not clean the restrooms, let alone the restaurant. They are overpriced and the clientele is very ghetto. I would neverrr go back to this place, and i warn all my friends and family as well. You cant even reconize the food because its all turkish style. I rather eat out of a dumpster than actually pay to eat this food. Its GROSS! The peopke who work there can barely speak english on top of if! Skip out on this place trust me!

Ive been there with my family and friends several times and the food and service are always superb!!! Today, August 10, 2016, I had lunch with my son. Our server was Christina, not only was the food delicious, she was the was by far the MOST pleasant, friendliest, courteous waitresses Ive ever had in my life!!! And I honestly do not believe she is that pleasant because she wants tips, her entire mannerism told me she is always nice. I will definitely be back, hopefully I will get her section. I wish the best for your establishment and best wishes to Christina. Yolanda and Chaz (my son)

My colleague and I were having a taste off of local diners to see who had the best gyro. We selected U.S. 1 as the winner because their gyro is really juicy and tasty, with just the right amount of shredded lettuce, onion and tomato and their tzatziki sauce is really good. But what set theirs apart was the great steak fries, nice and golden and crispy! The other diners use what appear to be Zero trans fat fries that dont taste all that great; Also, one diner forgot to include the tzatziki sauce, which is like leaving out the syrup for pancakes!

I have been going there since I was 5 yrs old.iam now 32.my mother use to take me there to eat every friday.now I have a 6 yr old and was thinking about doing the samething with my daughter.i took my daughter there.big mistake! The waiter was very nasty and grumpy.left a tip which was a nice tip mind u.paid my bill.the came out the building saying was everything ok.i said it was ok why.she said because I have to slit my tips with the bus boy and u didnt leave enough money.i will never go there again! I was shocked!

Food is good, it doesnt taste like it has been in a freezer for a long time, the potatoes actually taste like potatoes, and the coffee does not disappoint; a lot of diner type locations serve coffee that taste watered down, this is not. Service is great, our server both times was a bright and attentive individual. The diner itself is a neat little building, the insides were tidy and clean, and although my time in Jersey was short this is the place Ill think back to when talking about east coast diners.

A True New Jersey Diner. Great breakfast and lunch special. Just the lunch special menu is a long read! Good food, delivered with friendly service, made to order. Large portions and very reasonable prices. Ordered the pork chop lunch special, received 2 large chops, perfectly fried (ordered them breaded) with a crisp tasty bread coating! Came with soup or salad, 2 sides, and dessert all for under $14.00. Will definitely be a repeat customer.

Their food was great but omg wow our watriss was absolutely horrid. She really looked at my guest and asked him if the food we ordered was large enough for him. We really didnt understand y she felt she had to ask we had already thanked her for bringing our plates she is lucky I believe in tipping no matter what. Im greedy the extra side was for me. Im smaller than my guest but I eat way more. Think about that.

Its a mixed review-- the renovations make it nice inside now. Two in our party had great food but I was disappointed in the gyro--kind of a diner staple. Meat tastes like just hamburger-- no spice or lamb mixture and tzatziki was bland. But fries and service were very good.

As a born red raised Trentonian is a little girl my family went there long before I did at the party hours to eat food great new hands changed over still the same one time then they changed over to the other one not so bad now it has owners we can be proud of as Trentonians

Solidly traditional NJ dinner. Good for families and small groups. Extensive menu, enjoyed our food and expect to go there agaun. Clean and new interior, good service, decent prices and management/owner seemed to be present and involved.

Ordered a meal for pickup the only thing good about it were the fries. The wrap was supposed to be a chicken caesar wrap but it was sitting in some orange juice. The chicken looked like it came out of a can. Never going there again.

Alfredo the manager is very great. He has excellent customer service. He did everything in his power to make me feel more than happy. The diner is very clean, very friendly and delicious food.

Ate here plenty of times over the years. Always had great service and food. One waitress even remembered a custom sandwich I used to order with french toast and extra toppings.

Classic, busy diner. Try the home fries with any eggs. As with any diner, these are LOTS of choices. Nothing to really write home about, but solid, reliable fare.
