Orders are taken with such a sense of urgency even when the place is quiet and just a few guests. You ask for something and repeat yourself, the male waiters will bring something else because they focus on looking busy, vs listening to the guest. Went there daily for few weeks. Asked for over hard eggs, they came medium. Would politely point it out, they didnt even offer to fix/replace. Would be accused of asking for it. Would order the same plate everyday, ribeye with eggs, half the time I would get a strip steak. At first I just kept my mouth shut despite being served and charged extra few dollars for ribeye. I guess I was trying to keep it friendly because its so close to my job. Every time I tipped 5 bucks despite the headaches, thinking it would get better. Staff needs better training. The older woman in her 60s was the only one that got the orders correct. The short latino guy in late 30s- early 40s always messed up badly. I dont plan on going back. And did I mention that the homefries at lunch time tasted fresh, at 10am it tasted old and stale. Always.

El Dorado Diner is everything you expect in an American diner in a sleepy suburban location. The menu offers an array of family-dinner favorite dishes; not the meatloaf-and-mashed potato kind, but the eggplant parmagiana kind that mom makes on a special occasion. No single ethnic food group dominates the offerings, though -- Americanized versions of many favorites appear, rich and creamy and in large portions that defy most dietary restrictions. You wont find gluten-free or much that will satisfy a vegan here. A wide selection of baked goods from muffins to cakes to pies enhances the menu from morning to evening. The decor is up-to-date, attractive, and the seating is comfortable. The two dining areas are well-designed to accommodate any size party; it looks like a good place for a small crowd or private party. Attentive, professional, service-oriented staff and lots of good food at a fair price.

Solid staff, mediocre food, exorbitant prices, stingy manager. We were charged $5 for a few strawberries on a waffle (typical diners charge $2), bringing the overall price of the waffle to a whopping $14. After talking to the manager about the price he said there was absolutely nothing he could do and "the price is the price." This is really poor business. All it would have costed was a few dollars, and a cordial response, to retain my business. I wont be back to any of the Eldorado diners, there are plenty of other options in the area that offer a much higher quality of both food and customer service.

Usually have liked meals here, plenty of selection, fast service. My last trip there, Sunday around 5, all of my food was cold, the baked potato not even warm. My meatloaf dinner was cold and had a rubbery texture. At least I tried to use the brown gravy that was served on the side, until we realized the strange flavor was because it tasted like cloves! Yuck Yuck Yuck Not planning on going back soon. Oh the cream of turkey soup, also not very hot, was good but a bit bland, which is good, can add your own salt and pepper.

I ordered off the brunch menu which comes with your choice of drink (including champagne or mimosa), homefries and toast. The farmers omelette I ordered was pretty perfect, though must have had 6 eggs in it, because it was double the size of any omelette Ive ever had. Loved the homefries, though I did have to add salt and pepper to make it more enjoyable. Overall, the menu offerings are pretty varied, including chicken and waffles. Portions are huge, service is friendly and your meal appears very quickly.

5/6 FOH seemed to lack the capability of any human emotion. Not one person was the slightest bit welcoming. Furthermore, the french fries were undercooked, the grilled cheese was gross, the waiter was too busy on his phone to bother coming to check on us after delivering the food, and neither the cashier nor the manager on duty cared enough to ask how our meal was. El Dorado? Or Diablo? (The 2 stars were for carrying Pepsi products, having a clean restroom, and the Russian dressing was good.)

Food was disgusting. Cook didnt scrape the grill off before making my grilled cheese, grilling someone elses old food into my bread. French fries were undercooked. The simplest diner meal, should be pretty easy to get it right. And were one of 4 tables at the time. Not like he was cooking for a packed house. The best part.of my meal was the fountain soda. Staff didnt give a flip about anything.

Without a doubt the worst diner I have ever been to. 45 minutes for a Caesar Salad that came without dressing or croutons so just lettuce and chicken. No apology at all. Took 10 minutes to fix. The rest of table food came at all different times. Why waste my time and money when any other place is better and faster, hell even McDonalds appologizes when they screw up

I ordered online. I showed up, picked up the food and went to pay. The owner told me it was over five dollars more than the online order showed because they have a new menu. I argued with him and he wouldnt budge. I asked him why he hasnt updated the menu online and he had no answer. What a scam. The food was mediocre at best.

Menu had too many items to choose from, it had like 6 pages! And although we had separate checks, there were 10 of us, they added the tip onto all of our bills. It was in teeny tiny print on the bottom of the menu parties of 6 or more tip automatically w added. Never eating there again, unfriendly managers

It is an alright dinner with nothing special. I have coming here a few times a year for along time and I dont think I will be returning after trying the grilled salmon sandwich. When it came out it looked delicious and juicy, but when I took my first bite I instantly wanted to throw up.

Prices change all the time for the same things.... people are very rude.. not clean at all had to throw my omelet out after discovering a ROACH in it that was the final straw. I can deal with rude people and price fluctuations thats all you get in this area but a roach hell no!!!!!

Was super disappointed with this diner. Used to be a frequent customer of the diner down the street, but tried this place out after the other location shut down. Was really unhappy with the service- we waited 10 minutes to receive menus and decided to leave before we started.

Fantastic establishment. Ive been going there with my family for as long as I can remember. Theres a reason were regulars, the food and atmosphere are wonderful. The owners are lovely people, and the wait staff are helpful and polite. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Used to go here all the time growing up. Still stop by here from time to time when im in the area and want to grab something to eat late at night. The staff are still friendly and helpful. The only thing different is they updated the building.

I ordered the crabmeat with shrimp. They had 2 little shrimps underneath the crabmeat. It looked like they bought frozen shrimp from the grocery store and just shoved it under. It was not even tasty. Way over priced. It was truly insulting!!
