What a great treasure to find. Been a crazy week, and I was so glad to have Friday night plans with a dear friend. We planned a quick bite at Little Greek before the play we were seeing. Both of us being foodies and bakers, we could not resist checking out Nothing Bundt Cakes. Were also both English Nerds, so love the play on words in the name. Bundt cake is dear to me too. The first time I ever requested a non-chocolate dessert (to my familys surprise), it was for my great grandmothers cinnamon bundt cake. I have her recipe and pan, but it took many years to perfect the glaze. In the store which is adorable, we tried the strawberry which was very moist (get over the word, thats how you describe good cake), but that cream cheese frosting is perfection. I went with a dozen budtinis, so my wife and I could try a few flavors. Lemon is my fav so far. The cinnamon reminds me of nanas except the frosting, but Im not mad about that. All were exceptionally moist and yummy. Also, the staff was nice enough to bring my order to me at Little Greek. They were very helpful and pleasant. This was such a wonderful experience. Im tempted go back for more lemons or to take into work.
