Ive been to this place many times: 1st, when it recently opened, it wasnt that bad. Service seemed normal, and I had the buttermilk pancakes which were ok. The manager was kind, asked how the food was, I was honest and he gave me a free brownie that my friend ate. I would give it 3 or 4 stars then. The next time I went... oh boy... it was bad. I barely ate my sandwich, either because it was bad or I just wasnt that hungry, or both. I think the sandwich was soggy, its hard to remember. I was with a group of people so we hung out after we paid and left. TLTR, employees saw us walking and decided to flip me off. No joke. A few other times I unwillingly went with other people and had food that was store bought, I could literally get the same thing for less at the store or my school. Same thing with their drinks. I recently went Fathers day and had pancakes that were extremely dry and tasteless. The service was a little better this time, but not great. All I could think about was leaving. OVERALL, this place is expensive with subpar food unless its store bought. Store bought food, however, is cheaper in other places. Pancakes are dry and flavored coffee was diluted (tasted more like water). Service is ok, but you can tell that the employees either dont want to be there or hate you. Its not a good vibe, it also has a feel of formality that isnt homey, but thats more of a personal preference.

Have come here often and enjoyed the food, but most recently I had a terrible experience that would keep me from ever going back. The service was absolutely abysmal. Our appetizer was served on a single plate, with no smaller plates, utensils, or napkins provided until we walked in from the patio and stood at the counter to ask for them. Our waitress was also slow to refill our drinks even though the restaurant was half empty. Finally, when we tried to pay, the restaurant’s credit card machine was down, and the waitress openly and LOUDLY accused us of not having money on our bank cards/credit cards. After trying someone else’s card, she realized it was the machine. Nevertheless, she did not speak with us in a professional manner. The only redeeming part was the food coming fast, and being of decent quality, but with terrible service, I would never go back.

This is a great little gem hidden within Mountain Lakes, NJ. I discovered this place by word of mouth. They barely do any advertising for this place so you wouldnt know it existed unless you know someone whos already been there. Ive gone for breakfast and lunch. Each time I go I keep telling myself that I need to come here more often. You can tell that their food is so fresh when you eat it. On my most recent visit I had the chicken parm sandwich (recently added to the menu). The chicken tasted amazing, the sandwich had just the right amount of cheese, and the bread was lightly toasted and soft. My girlfriend had the Cobb salad and it was a huge portion but it was delicious. The fact that their staff is so freaking awesome and attentive makes this place a MUST visit if youre looking for great food and service. Plus...the decor just makes you feel so relaxed.

I got to have lunch at this restaurant yesterday. I went there alone, because was attending a seminar close by. I had such a great experience at this place. The staff is friendly and attentive, everything seemed to work as a mechanism, nice, smooth. They were pretty busy, but I still got my food quicklyw, was in and out just as I intended. I ordered Mediterranean wrap with FF, so good! Portions are pretty big too. This place has a very friendly/family like atmosphere and Im happy I went there. Jen(n) (not sure how to spell her name), was my server. She was always smiling, very helpful and quick. It seemed like the owner/manager was very involved in what was happening in the restaurant, and I loved that. Thank you for an amazing experience, I definitely recommend and will be coming back here myself.

Great place for breakfast and lunch. Had attended a few celebration events there in the past which featured a limited breakfast menu but today we stopped in for lunch and got to try their sandwiches and wraps. Everything was very tasty and fresh. Try the fried pickles, they are some of the best I ever had. Hand cut fries were great. Save room for dessert. Everything is homemade. Try the warm brownie with ice cream. It melts in your mouth. Its big enough to share. Our server Sabrina was wonderful. She suggested the brownie. Service was great. The decor is nice and everyone is friendly and ready to please. Looking forward to our next visit.

the service is slow, the cooks obviously dont know what theyre doing, the owners are dramatic and wont stop talking trash about everyone and their mother even in front of customers. Its over priced for the horrid excuse of food they try to feed people. The only reason why Im giving this place one star is because the waitress was apologetic and sincere. If you go there, dont make the waiter and waitress suffer for the fact that the cooks and owners are awful. Tip them cash if they did a good job.

I normally have good food and sub par service. Today (last time was approximately three months ago), both food and service were subpar. The omelet was dry and prepared poorly. Food presentation was horrible. Toast was unevenly cut, and the tea tasted like seafood water. Waitress forgot the side of sausage. Waitress admitted changed occurred and usual chef was not there....

Hapgoods has well prepared, tasty, generous and reasonably priced food mostly light fare from omelettes to hamburgers, wraps and salads, lemonade and ice cream, but some full dinners. Highlights are Truffle Burger or Mediterranean Wrap, both available with a nice side salad or sweet potato fries. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. BYOB.

Awesome place to go for a quaint brunch. The poached pear pancakes and french toast are to die for. The omelettes and lunch options are great to. Outdoor seating is available in the warmer months. As you can tell, I highly recommend this location, although I have found that the service is occasionally sub-par.

Great food, great service! I go with friends and family fairly often for brunch; their omelettes and pancakes are awesome. It also doesnt hurt that their coffee is so good. Highly recommend!
