Great food yet waitstaff not knowledge about Gluten Free. Im pregnant with celiacs disease and must be very careful on my order. Upon ordering with 1 server I thought all was good to go. When another server came out with the toast he at first put it in front of me, I asked if it was GF---he said yes but then came back 2 seconds later and said it wasnt it was for my husband. I almost ate it! By having a ton of waitstaff they need a sure fire way to know what is/is not GF when running the food. Also when I asked another server for GF toast he said "what kind, white/wheat/cinnamon, ect...". Just the fact that he asked white/wheat made me nervous. When asked he said they bake it everyday there. Later the manager came out and confirmed they use Rudis GF. (Obviously they dont bake Rudis there.) The waitstaff needs to truly know what GF means and be able to safely run the food.

I found it to be somewhat underwhelming. We went at "brunch" time on a weekday. I ordered the Country Benedict and specifically requested the eggs to be cooked all the way, rather than runny. It came out with runny eggs, chewy ham, cold/dry biscuit, and barely a tablespoon of sausage gravy on top. The food took forever and we later found out its because they sent the benedict back because the eggs were "overcooked" on the first try, even though they were actually cooked how I asked. Sigh. My husband ordered an omelet of some type and was disappointed by the portion size. We felt like we get better value for similar quality at a place like IHOP. The place was basically empty, but we rarely saw a single server for more than taking our order and delivering it to us when ready. We definitely wont be rushing back any time soon.

I called the Friday before Mothers Day to ask if they took reservations. The answer was no. Next question, can you accommodate a party of 10. The answer was yes. We show up on Mothers Day at 8:45 and they wont accommodate our party of 10 event if we wait of for table to open up. They are on a 1/2 hour wait for smaller groups while I counted at least 4 open tables inside and all of the outdoor section was open on a pleasant day. More than enough room for our party of 10 had they pushed tables together outside. Half our group left the other half stayed. The food was mediocre at best (my meal was lukewarm and for a busy Sunday morning not one of the employees had a sense of urgency. Poor service bad food, I would be surprised if this place stays in business for another year.

This is a decent spot serving up diner-style fare. It has a trendy, modern feel to it and is in a nice spot in Loudoun Station. I had the stuffed french toast with peanut butter and banana, and ordered two over easy eggs on the side. I enjoyed the french toast, though I felt like it could use some improvement. To me it felt a little dry, so maybe it could have used a whipped topping or some kind of glaze, warm syrup shouldnt be the only option. The "over easy" eggs were more overdone than anything, the yolk was cooked all the way through, which I was not expecting so I just fed them to my son who gleefully ate it up. The service was pretty decent and we didnt have to chase down the servers. I feel like we would need to visit again to allow a second chance to impress us.

Very disappointing. I had the SMG (spinach, mushroom, gruyere) omlet. It did not have any seasoning and the mushrooms looked like they were canned. It did not have any flavor. My husband got the cinnamon raisin french toast. The pieces were very small and thin like it came from a bag at the grocery store. The server was very nice when she took our order, but never came back to check on our meal or refill our drinks, which were very overpriced. She walked by our table at least 10 times and never acknowledged us until she saw our bill and credit card. Then she passed by quickly and grabbed them without saying a word. We have a favorite breakfast place, but were excited to try something new. We will not be going back.

This place was nothing I expected it to be. Customer service was poor by waitress and manager. The food was cold and misplaced on the plate. The waitress even had the nerve to ask us to switch meats off the plate due to their error! How dare you even think its ok to ask? Ive never experienced anything like this . Food was missing on the plates, it was just a horrible experience. Once the food came out for the second time it was correct. The food was good however the experience was just at an all time low. We actually had to ask for a discount to be placed on our checks instead of it being placed automatically . Not only that, they assumed all persons was in on check. I was just over the experience all together !

It was my first time going to famous toastery and I have to say this place is wonderful, dont let the negative reviews discourage you as from my experience I was very happy with the customer service, it was excellent staff was very attentive, we got our food within 5 mins of ordering. The food was fresh, hot and not greasy with excellent taste. The tables have butter and jelly ready for you to use instead of getting up to get them. They have freshly squeezed orange juice! The machine will squeeze it right in front of you. I would highly recommend this place if you want to get fresh food and great service. Their breakfast was amazing I got an omelette and so did my girlfriend and we truly enjoyed the experience.

Tried the lobster roll special. Dunno why they split it in two rolls. Seemed like barely a tablespoon of bland lobster. Why offer such a deluxe dish if you cant afford to put enough food in the overwhelming bun? Also tried the meatloaf sandwich. This disappointing sandwich had processed cheese halfway melted on it. Tried the pasta salad side. I love al dente, but this pasta was practically crunchy. The best items were the potato salad and the hash browns. When we told the waitress how we felt, she offered no consolation, no manager. She did tell us to come back for breakfast, that it was better. Left the place unhappy with our decision to go there.

The servers were very nice and I liked the atmosphere but the food was very underwhelming, the French toast was soggy and undercooked even though it did have good flavors, the pancakes were dry, but the sausage, bacon, and grits were good. I had ordered an omelette and asked for the cheese to be substituted with another kind but when it came the cheese hadnt been changed. When the servers came to give us our food they didnt seem to know what was on the plates so it took a while for everyone to get the correct food. I dont know if Ill be coming back again.

2 STARS.. because the flavor of the food was GREAT! However, the service was NOT SO GREAT! The Manager was not compensating at all and showed my friends and myself NO sympathy that the whole tables food was cold. The only item that was brought to the table that was HOT was the shrimp and grits. We had to ask her for a compensation and we all had to say our food at different times. Im just here visiting the area and this was my first time here and more than likely this will be my last.
