A friendly smiling face greeted me when I walked in. She was very helpful and descriptive. She did not mind answering any questions that I had and did not mind giving me a taste of the food. The food is absolutely delicious. I tasted everything they had on the hot bar that was vegetarian and it was all delicious. So much so that I had to have two dishes full. ( they serve out the amount you want and then put it on a scale) They also have options for people that are not vegetarian Im sure those are just as good too. It is just a little cafe on a very busy street with not so good parking but I pulled right up and parked right in front lucky me. The food that comes out of here belongs in a nice restaurant. You will be pleasantly surprised just go inside and have a taste. The food they serve is 100 percent organic. They also have pre done food to go in the cooler amazing. And fresh baked muffins cookies and bread. I dont know how they do all that in that little place. Very talented. I will come back. And I live 1 hour away. Still I will come back.

I order an egg sandwhich and explicitly told them i wanted real bacon. I get home and see its veggie bacon. I called them and told them they got my order wrong and they said "thanks for calling, bye". Not even a "sorry" or "come back in well get you what you actually ordered"... they acted like i have to deal with it. And while im writing a review for this place i might as well mention that i ran into an old friend who used to work here and he said True Food uses GMO cooking oil. Way to go guys, lie about organic food and then botch orders with no remorse. Fantastic. Guess what Nyack doesnt need you, another store can take your place. Thanks for calling, bye!

I had to suddenly start a gluten free diet last summer and we had already planned to take on a long road trip from VA to ME... so this was a perfect place to eat a healthy and satisfying meal. Their gluten free bread is amazing! Unique menu and great food. Snacks, smoothies and salads to go, too. They offer a nice water carafe to put on the table if you want. Pleasant environment to eat in. We have come every summer for two years!

Nice little place in Nyack serving organic food. The server was super friendly! The food was very tasty and well presented. I had a mocha with the Salvadoranian breakfast with two organic eggs, feta, beans, and avocado. A little pricey. I wasnt told it doesnt come with bread or tortilla and that it would be an extra $2.71 for two slices of toast, wich brought the total to a little under $25.

Real food, cooked with care and attention to flavor. Perfect all-day breakfast plate: two eggs any style over mesclun, with browned potatoes, avocado slices, and sauteed kale on the side. Sourdough toast. Vegetarians, GF, and Paleo eaters all will be happy here.

I always eat here when biking up to Nyack. The hot food is always fresh and delicious. The curries are my favorites. Pamela, the owner is also the chef and uses locally grown produce when available. I honestly havw never had a disappointing meal here.

/Great/ food! Perfect for taking home - either something from the hot bar or the fridge. Recommend the frittatas and the homemade German bread. Owner is super friendly and accommodating. All ingredients super fresh and majority are local. A must go!

I had high hopes for this place, but only went once. I had soup and a kale frittata. Both were somewhat bland and unsatisfying. It was also very difficult on the day that I went to find a meals worth of food that was grain/gluten free.
