I just called New China Moon and tried to place an order for pick up. Our connection was a little hazy at first, so it took a few, "Hellos" before I was asking to place a pick up. After I stated this, the man who answered the phone said, rather urgently, "What do you want?". I stated that I was just making sure our connection was clear. He replied, "Well are you going to order?" I asked him if there was someone else there, a manger perhaps, that I could speak to. He hung up on me. I called right back, and told him he didnt need to be rude to me, I just wanted to speak with who was in charge. He yelled, "Are you going to order?" and when I asked for a manager again, he hung up. Im not sure if it was a language barrier keeping my request unanswered or if he was trying to avoid trouble, either way I will never call them again and will warn everyone I know of their extremely RUDE service. No thank you, I will take my business somewhere else!!

Excellent food. Been dining here usually at least once per week for the past 2-3 years. Very friendly staff, this is a small restaurant with only 3 or 4 tables meant for those "quick" meals. I know most of their business is aimed at take out, and its usually what I do. My work used to be a block away, but we moved to Plymouth and its still worth the drive here for lunch and I still come here after work, get take-out and go home to Romulus - and its still nice and hot 25min later! Well worth trying - even if youre not from the immediate area!

I consider myself a Chinese food "snob". I grew up eating Chinese food almost daily. My best friends parents owned a Chinese Restaurant. I can always tell if I am going to like a place by their egg rolls and sweet and sour sauce. China Moon is almost perfect!! Egg rolls are NOT greasy and the sweet and sour sauce is not too thin and "vinegary". I used to go to China Kitchen at 6 and Middlebelt which was the best Chinese food in Livonia, but they have new owners (as of Oct 2010) and its not the same.

Food use to be good. Now its just average. They try to up sell you on your order. I fell for it, only to be served up a heaping helping of crap service. Top it off with major attitude and rudeness....great equation to take our business to Dale Yees.

Plain americanized chinese with caffeteria bread rolls (???????) Nothing to jump up and down about. The sauce wasnt flavorful and the meat wasnt that great either. Over all a blah experience

Ped thai is horrible! They use thick fettuccine noodles and it was not spicy at all. I was really disappointed
