For starters, it took about 5 minutes before a waitress came to our table. We tried to order a few rolls and then progress from there, but for some reason, she did not like this option and stood by our table until we decided. It took 45 minutes for our sushi to make it to our table. We were almost convinced we had never actually ordered any food, since our waitress spoke very poor English. We proceeded to find a very long, very dark hair in one of the sushi rolls. [I was with my family, and we all have very, very blonde hair.] After another considerable wait, they took the entire plate away. We then watched while they brought all of their staff to our plate to discuss it. They insinuated that we had placed the hair in the food. As though we were talented enough to re-roll the sushi on the plate and weave the hair through the roll. Yes, I suppose I am that talented... So we waited another 10 minutes for them to remake it. They never talked to us about the fact that we found hair in our food. However, our waitress did say "sorry" while she was re-delivering the sushi. I am not sure she knew why she was saying sorry. They did not comp our meal. They did not ask if we were okay. We would have complained to a manager, but alas, there were none in sight. I would highly recommend finding a different place to eat.

Honestly, this place was a thorough disappointment. I was excited when I saw that there was japanese place that delivered to me that also featured sushi. When I placed my order I thought the tab of 23 dollars for sushi and six buffalo wings was overpriced but I figured the food would be worth it. Upon getting my food, after the tip Id spent 25 dollars for lunch. When I called I asked for extra soy sauce and wasabi. Instead I got none of either. After I opened my sushi and took a bite, it was overly warm and fell apart as I picked it up. The pieces were small and unlike most sushi places, the rolls came with six instead of eight. The rice was bland and it was honestly the worst sushi I can say Ive ever had. Then I moved onto my wings after I gave up on the sushi after two pieces that I only endured because I was ravenously hungry. When I took a bite out of the wing I discovered they were not fully cooked and extremely pink inside. I really dont know how this place manages to stay open with food and deplorable service like this. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone and if you know whats good for you, you should steer clear. Truly a massive disappointment and they should be ashamed of the service they administer.

This was the worst service I had ever experienced at restaurant in my entire life. Absolutely awful. Waited for 20 minutes to receive water after the entire table but me received their drinks, hibachi chef kept serving entrees to wrong people who ordered it and TOOK FOOD OFF PERSONS PLATE to put it on the plate of the person who did order it, waited over half an hour for check and waitress didnt even ask if the check was split or together and put the entire table of 7 on one check making an awkward situation, and last but not least, when waitress received paid checks back at the table she actually pulled out the receipts in front of us and looked at each what each one of us tipped her.

I went here for my birthday. They were very accommodating of our large group on short notice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was DELICIOUS. Everyone loved what they ordered. Some at the table had hibachi and some had sushi. It was all very tasty. The best sushi Ive had in Columbia. They also sang for my birthday! It was a great overall experience. I would absolutely go back and will recommend to everyone :)

TL;DR Poor service. Long version: sat down at bar, waited ten minutes, never asked if I wanted or needed anything. All the while looking at the back of the bartender who was too busy chilling a glass in a bucket of ice. Found out later that she was just a hostess, but the general disorganization and apathy showed everywhere. The place has the look and feel of a struggling establishment that well might be out of business soon.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place delivered sushi one day and refused the very next day because they claim our address was too hard to find. Very rude lady answering the phone claims the driver can not find the location yet delivered the day before. Do not eat here service is horrible, even though the food is not bad the service alone is frustrating enough to never dine in or get delivery.

Okay so... I came here for the promise of an "All you can eat meal". That promise was not fulfilled. It should be changed to "all we are willing to give you". On top of that the sushi quality is terrible and the waitress was very rude. I strongly do not recommend this restaurant. Though if you want a good sushi meal Sakura is right down the road and it is wonderful :D.

!!!WARNING !!!!! I Went here for fathers day 6/18/17 around 5pm; service was good, the only bad thing is that this is the second time on the hibachi tables you can see the cockroach and other little animals like worms coming out of the sides of the grill, where they cook all the meals. Really disgusting. Happened 2 times; I wont comeback.

This place was better than expected. The sushi rolls we really good and their steak dinner was not overcooked. Also add a good thing in my book, their choice of wasabi sauce is good. Sometimes you go to places and you can just eat the wasabi. This was not the case. It gave that awesome wasabi burn and tingle. Good stuff

Easily the best food I have had in the 3+ months we have lived here. The staff was friendly, entertaining, and made us feel very special. Prices are higher than most regular restaurants, but you are paying for large portions and entertainment as well. Well worth it, definitely recommend! Cant wait to go back!

Koto Sake has great sushi for your typical quick sushi lunch place. The service can be a bit slow sometimes, but the fish is always above average quality (its no high-end sushi restaurant). Overall a nice place to go to without spending too much.

Phenomenal! The food was delicious and the service was great. We took our kids, ages 3 and 6, and they were enthralled by the hibachi. Also, the filet mignon was one of the best Ive had in a while. It was a wonderful family experience.

Food was horrible.. I was so excited to go because I love cutural food but the food was horrible.. watered down extremely oily.. I woke up at 3am the next day extremely sick.. would never go back or reccomend this place.

I tried one of the Lunch Special. It was very artistic and tasty! Plenty of parking in front of this restaurant. Generally, we all remember something very unique and nice things in life. This is one of them for me.
