I wonder why this place is not in limelight. Its usually slow in afternoons but take outs are I think there forte during lunch hours. You get a lot more food for a lot less money. I have been there for lunch and their lunch specials consists of hot tea, soup and egg roll in addition to the actual dish. I have tried General Tsos chicken, orange chicken, honey chicken and everythings tastes good. I will try other dishes when I am there next time and keep updating the review. I would definitely recommend to try it out.

As you can tell from the other reviews, this place is awesome! I always get the General Tsos dinner combination platter with an order of crab rangoons. Every time, my food comes out in less than 10 minutes. As others have already stated, the portions are HUGE! It usually takes me three days to get through the portion. Do not pass this place up! Pros: -Excellent food -HUGE portions -Quick service -Friendly staff Cons: -Easily missed due to location -Not helping my weight ;)

I just left China House in its 5:07 me and my wife was having dinner after I got off work and the waitress brought our food out while I was eating there was a bug crawling on the table when I called the waitress she tried to point out the dish like she didnt see it and then they made it their business but they still wanted me to pay for it after I ran to the toilet and threw up and other customers left its garbage and theyre infested they need to be shut down

We just moved here recently and I have been searching for a good Chinese restaurant. Someone told me about China House and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food wasnt very good, the rice was dry and the spring roll was greasy. Guess I will keep searching. And on another note, when I picked up the food, the lady was not friendly at all. She seemed like I was a bother to her. Note sure why, there wasnt a sole in the restaurant and it was 5:30pm.

I am the pickiest Chinese food eater I know, and will try different places until Im satisfied. I have just moved to this area from Macomb/Rochester area (found a restaurant in each city) and this one is both of those restaurants put together! The soup actually has flavor, not tooo much salt, large portions, good pricing. I would give 5 stars, but when I ask for extra spicy, that doesnt really happen.

I dont know where to begin with the superlatives. Dont be fooled by this traditional neighborhood Chinese menu. The food is hot and delicious, served fast, in one of the cleanest dining establishment Ive ever been in. No cutting corners here. Its all genuine and fresh. And the portions are HUGE. Topped off with exceptional service - you dont want to pass this one by. Well be back.

I find the food here delicious. You get a lot for your money. I recommend, if you are buying something at dinner time, to not order off the combination menu. The reason is you get a lot more food for a little more money. For example, it cost a dollar more if you dont order almond chicken on on the combination menu but you end up getting a lot more chicken. Enjoy yourself!

These Chinese people are Racist! I drove down there to buy me some Chinese food and the ugly looking lady refused to open the door for me when she saw me. As soon as I left, a White female walked up to the door, and the door was quickly opened for her. It is a shame on them! In this modern time that they are being racist. They need their business shot down!

Good food. Great portions. Seriously if you can finish one of these dishes you may want to look into weight watchers or do what I had to and practice self control, lol. I see they do a lot of carryout business. However I like to go In every once and a while they are very nice.

Great food & wonderful staff. My son has a fish allergy. I asked if one of his favorite foods had fish or oyster sauce added. The lady who took the order had the cook make a separate dinner for him. They went above expectations. Just love this place.

They are very friendly, you get a lot of food for the money, the dining area and bathrooms are very nice and super clean. Its a hidden gem in Livonia because unfortunately not everyone knows about it so you can always find an open seat.

Quality Chinese food at a reasonable price. This place has a great atmosphere and quick service. The entrees come with soup and an egg roll, and are big enough to share (or take home for lunch). Would definitely recommend this place.
