I have had a number of fine experiences at this establishment, unfortunately tonight was not one of them. I was greeted by a very nice bus person who seated me at 9PM and gave me glass of ice water, much appreciated as I was on a bike this hot day. Next to me was a large party finishing their meal, and in the booth behind me was another party who got service. I was ignored for the next fifteen minutes by a tall young lady and a tall young man who I assumed to be the waitpersons, each of whom walked by me several times without acknowledging my eye contact or even my presence, or the menu I put on the end of the table indicating that I was ready to order. Im an older guy and I was sitting alone dressed in my bike commuter clothes. Still I found this to be a somewhat surreal circumstance, I felt like the invisible man. After the guy walked by me the fourth time and the young lady walked by me the fifth or sixth, I finally decided to just get up and leave. I walked past the woman on the way out and she at least said hi or something. I told her I had been seated, waiting to order for fifteen minutes, and she was very apologetic. I said thanks, went next door to Jaks Grill and received the great service and a fine meal like I always have there. I have lived in the neighborhood 20 years and cannot say this experience is typical of Varlamos, but it was definitely a Twilight Zone evening. I wont be back. Dr. Jeffrey A. Short

I am giving a mixed review of this restaurant. First, what I liked. I thought the pizza was good. I ordered pepperoni which had just the right amount of spice, for my taste.(It was quite greasy, though. Had to use a lot of napkins) I also ordered a caesar salad. I enjoyed it, as well. Very fresh! Now, what I didnt care for. I felt the service was quite slow. Most of the wait staff seemed to care more about socializing, than serving customers. I realize the majority of them were in their teens and twenties, so I guess that makes sense. It was quite loud, with televisions everywhere. Not really my type of place. The interior and atmosphere left much to be desired. It could be quite cute. I think it needs a womans touch;) All in all, I probably wont return to the restaurant. I may get pizza to go, though:)

I live in/near Boston Massachusetts. I have a granddaughter with cerebral palsy.I just read a message from a mother with a son with CP. They live in the Seatle area and I have friends in the area as well. This mother and her family were refused service because their son is in a wheelchair. He may be difficult to look at for some (I think hes adorable), but he is just a child and his family deserves to be treated like any other family. I am disgusted with the treatment they received by this establishment and will pass on what I think to anyone I know in the area.

In my opinion, the best pizza in Seattle!!! It kind of reminds me of Godfathers way back in the day. The calzones are HUGE! The chicken parmesan is another favorite of mine. The staff is friendly and all the food is excellent! I used to live nearby and went often. I live 100 miles away now, but when Im in the area I always do my best to eat there. Ill even order and extra meal for my lunch the next day! Great place to go if youre in town to watch the Dawgs - its super close to the stadium!

I may live in Ohio, but I have friends in Seatlle and if I ever go back to visit I will NEVER spend my money at this place!! I am in total disgust to find that service was refused to a friend with a special needs child in a wheelchair! You are so lucky that I was not the one treated this way because you would be talking to my lawyer right about now! Sorry dont cut it when as an American anyone any size, color, or handicap has the same right to eat at a public place! Shame on you!!

This is a great pizza place. Very flavorful! Huge Calzones that are literally the size of a football. They are local and support those in the local community too- including the elementary school and Childrens Hospital. Those go above and beyond with hospital families even giving everyone staying at the hospital a discount. Once in a while we will see the UW basketball team there or UW football players. This is by far my family and kids favorite restaurant.

I came here because of the 4.3 star rating but was sorely surprised to find the pizza to be abhorrent. I cannot speak for the rest of the menu, but for a $21 pizza that was drowning in way too much cheese, salt, and "pepperoni," it was nearly inedible. Anyone saying this is "east coast style" has never been to the east coast. If you do not care at all about the taste of your pizza, this is definitely the place to go.

Stopped in here a couple months ago with a few friends for their monday night calzone special and now Im hooked. Just found yesterday they have HAPPY HOUR and the menu is pretty extensive. Half a meatball sub (which is huge) and fries for $5. Dollar off beers. The vibe here is great, servers are extremely friendly and everyone seems to know each other.

I have not tried many other dishes because their pizza is the type of dish that you will wish you had if you did not get it. The sauce is notable for its flavor, but with pizza that good, everything comes into play (dough, cheeze, etc). Highly recommended!

Pizza so good! I made the mistake of having a slice while walking out with my pickup order. Pizza so good that I couldnt stop eating it hot out the oven. It was burning my lips, tongue, mouth and I believe I burnt my teeth and gums. -) So good.

Pizza was awesome. One tip if you can help it do not sit in a seat facing the kitchen. I spent all night looking at all the awesome looking food come out and questioning my order. In the end I was very happy that I did get the pizza.

Fantastic pizza. I have not yet made my way through all of the House Specials, because I am stuck on the Vasili Special. Friendly staff and excellent service. Dont forget to start with the Greek Salad.

Very good pizza and apps, very friendly and fast. Walking distance from Childrens Hospital, and they gave me a 20% discount since I had my parent badge with me! Would eat again.

There pizza is phenomenal! Very generous with their toppings and cheese. A little on the pricey side, but if you want fancy pizza loaded with toppings its worth it.
