Ordered delivery. When it arrived, I noticed right away that part of the order was missing. When I called back to see when the driver could drop it off, they told me, "Sorry, maybe next time we will do a better job. Someone probably just wasnt paying attention. Sorry but we wont drop off the rest of your order tonight because we are busy." I work in the service industry and I have never worked at an establishment that would treat a customer this way. They didnt offer to refund me and didnt even sincerely apologize. I placed my order online and left a 20% tip. My friend answered the door when the delivery driver arrived and tipped him AGAIN because she didnt realize that I had already. Even after paying my bill and overcompensating the driver, they still would not bring back the rest of my order. Total disappointment.

Im a bit of a foody when it comes to Chinese food. Not that I am pretentious. I just grew up close to a great place. Anyway, I tried Huan Xi for the first time and I loved it. I ordered the Kung Pao Shrimp, Crab Ragoon, and Spring Rolls. The driver showed up promptly. The food was not as spicy as I like, but I am sure that will be an easy fix when I communicate the level of spice that I prefer. I failed to communicate that this time. Everything that I ate was phenomenal. All of the ingredients were fresh and prepared perfectly. Best of all, the shrimp were huge and plentiful! Ill be back.

First time here. Ordered online and was given a specific time to come in to pick my food up. Once I arrived at the restaurant (at the given time) I was told my food was almost ready. I had no problem waiting but there was no place to stand, so I stood amongst the diners eating within the restaurant. 15 minutes after I arrived my food was ready. Once I got home I realized that they either forgot the sauce or the sweet and sour chicken doesnt include sauce and its just dry chicken and rice. I would not recommend this one to friends - there are better places out there.

The hot pot wasnt good. It was $24, and that is fine for all you can eat hot pot. We got the MA LA and the pork bone soup base. The MA LA didnt taste anything like MA LA (I lived in Taiwan for a couple of years). It tasted like a normal soup base with a bunch of that red hot sauce they normally have at Chinese restaurants. Vegetables were not fresh, meat looked like it was bought frozen and was not very good, and the signature hot pot sauce was horrible... way too salty. Place looked nice, but you guys better step your game up or youll go out of business.

Love Huan Xi and being surrounded by Chinese/Asian diners. Makes us feel like were eating in Chinatown Love their Chinese Menu and the new Hot Pot is totally cool. They now also have small individual dining rooms for private parties/gatherings/dining. The newly renovated & expanded restaurant looks amazing and is huge compared to their original space. One of the very few businesses on the East Side that not only has parking available, but lots of it. If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, you might want to stop in.

The food is pretty good - its your standard Chinese delivery food. However, they completely disregard any notes or changes that you make to the food. Weve had the wrong food delivered twice. The first time they said they would send a replacement that never came. The second time, they simply could not understand what we were requesting and ended up not sending the correct food. Dont bother asking for extra types of a certain sauce, because it will be ignored. The food isnt worth the trouble.

This restaurant set back humanity at least 25 years. From the lack of service to the nauseating quality of food there was absolutely no redeeming quality to this restaurant. While I hate to destroy any family business the Hello Kitty bowl that our food was served on highlighted the amateur hour that the place belongs in to. The fact it got 4.2 stars follows my belief that some people are either born stupid or without taste cells. Save your bowels and run out the door.

Very unique all you can eat hotpot Chinese restaurant. Its a bit pricey at $24 per person but its really good. They give you a pot of seasoned broth and you pick whatever you want from meat, veggies, seafood, fish balls, mushooms... You cook these ingredients in the pot and once its cooked, you eat it with a dipping sauce. So good! The owner also gave us very good recommendations.

If I want Chinese takeout, I always choose Huan Xi. Ive never had a bad experience. I have been eating here for 4 years. They also have a secret authentic Chinese menu for those who are daring enough to try it. Side note: every time I go in, Chinese people are eating there. Not Chinese-Americans, but actual Chinese people. So they have to be doing something right.

My recent take out orders have been much improved. At times dishes used to seem a bit Americanized: sauces were thick, salty and sweet in dishes that shouldnt be. Now I know there is a Chinese menu that is more authentic. It can still be overly salted, but they are accommodating when asked for modifications. The owner is very nice and cares to please customers.

Ok its a good place to go if you want hot pot....just be warned if ur going for the hot pot get the individual pot if ur in a large group (3 or more). They charge $24 per person if u get the hot pot buffet. It may seem little at first glance but once u add it up and all the additional stuff u order itll break ur bank. Our jaws dropped when we saw our bill.

Never forget to check your credit card transactions. They intentionally triple charged my bill. I talked to the manager of the restaurant, he never apologizes. Instead, I was told that I have to come to their restaurant with the bank statement if I found the overcharge like other customers do. It seems like they have a hobby.

Not impressed. Won tons were waaaay overdone, the shrimp egg rolls tasted funky, and the General Tsos chicken may have been the worst Ive ever had. The chicken looked and tasted like something youd get at a very low end fast food Asian place. The only redeeming item that I ordered was the Hot and Sour soup, it was good.

Ordered from here a couple times...food is NASTY...everything is overcooked and covered in a hard as a rock breading....the sesame chicken is 90% overcooked breading with a shriveled up dry piece of chicken inside...Honestly there is no good chinese delivery in Milwaukee, but stick with chopstix as its at least edible
