My wife and I have been regulars for over 50 years, so you know that I love the place, but there seems to have been a change recently. We went there with 2 other couples last night and it was not up to the usual standard. I ordered bacon, hot peppers and pineapple and had to put on my reading glasses and look carefully to find the few shreds of pineapple. The pepperoni pizza arrived with sausage and pepperoni. The ham pizza had a few little bits of ham in the middle, and the cheese pizza was over done. Whoever is running things now, please get your kitchen in order before its too late.

I was very impressed today. The last few times I have been for pizza something has gone wrong. Wrong toppings or requesting the pizza be cooked well done and it is not. Today we went with the larger group 9 of us. We ordered 5 bombers which were fabulous. Also two pizzas one just sausage one sausage pepper and onion both were cooked perfectly. Overall a great experience. I have been going to Quonset for 40 years and nothing had changed until new owners a year ago. Seems as if they worked the bugs out.

Went to Quonset for our treat of pizza and sausage bomber with cheese. Was so excited for that old familiar taste. Well Ive never been so disappointed in my life. My bomber was not cooked enough. The meat was gray and raw looking. The pizza was so greasy you almost had to soak it off to eat it. Had we not taken it to go,it would have been sent back for sure. Not happy!!!!☹️☹️☹️

The manager was very rude I picked up Pizza was not made like I ordered, had to go back to return that one and they agreed it wasnt right. I requested for our inconvenience can you accommodate us with pepsi..he stated no the least they can can do when you drive 20 minutes for a mistake that they made....will not return, rude people dont deserve our money

This was the second time weve been in the last two years and both times one of us got food poisoning....this time it was my poor husband. Last time was two years ago and I was about 6 months pregnant and got food poisoning that time. I dont know what happened to this place, it used to be a the best pizza in lake county....we will never go back

We ordered 6 pizzas, salad, and drinks for an event at Lake County. I was so impressed with the food, fast delivery, and service we received. Everything was perfect and Jeremiah went over and above to make sure we received everything. Thank you so much! Love the food, and service that cant be beat. You owe it to yourself to go there to eat.

Hands down, the tastiest pizza Ive EVER had in my life. And Ive had pizza up and down the East Coast and even in Italy! Its expensive, but worth it. My only complaint is how LONG it takes them to get a pizza ready. Its super thin crust, so not sure why it takes 30 plus minutes every time (regardless of how busy they are).

The server was ok. The restaurant was very noisy. Very Cold. The workers that worked around the counter were inappropriate language. They need to remember that families bring their children. Pizza came back a little burnt. We had a few slices and paid bill and left. We will not recommend your restaurant

Horrible. I enjoy their pizza, and the quality is there. DO NOT ORDER THEM FOR CATERING. They were over a half-hour later than the scheduled delivery time, and there was no follow up. Even the phone operator didnt know where the driver was or why they were so behind schedule.

Another awful experience at the Quonset. Its been a year since Ive tried them and definitely the last. The pizza was dripping with oil and undercooked. Just dont know how they got so bad, it used to be such good food. :( - ill be going to Bills pizza from now on..

Neighborhood gem and decades-long fixture for tavern style pizza. Forget deep dish, a pie for tourists. Quonset is all about thin crust. Comfortable and casual, Quonset is family-friendly, despite being a tavern. This is the pizza I grew up enjoying.

Of all the pizza i have been fortunate enough to have indulged in, Quonset is by far the best thin-crust pizza I have had in the Chicago area. The decor feels like a bowling alley bar, and fortunately there is a bar, even better, take and bake!

What wonderful pizza. I have been every state east of the Mississippi River. I went to Waukegan in June 2017, I enjoyed the pizza so much that I brought some back to louisiana with me. My husband and I cant wait to get some more.

The Quonset Pizza is a Waukegan treasure. Pizza has always been THE best. I have been coming here for more years than I choose to admit, and I come back whenever I am in town. I am never disappointed. It is consistently good.

Was here for the holidays, born and raised in waukegan. Live in texas.for 22years....they dont know pizza,.had to have quonset, taking some back, and the italian bombers......dont change a thing, ill be back.

The crust was really thin and a bit burnt. It had a generous amount of cheese but the cheese left a bad aftertaste in my mouth. Not much sauce on the pizza. Going here was definitely a one time thing.

Im a long time resident of Waukegan, my family raised me on the Quonset pizza but the service lately is very poor and worth the price of the pizza, I recommend MIKES if youre in Waukegan!

The bombers I had tasted poorly, I havent eaten there in many years but the sauce had no zip and the Italian sausage tasted like a bland brat,,,, ,, my wife liked the Italian beef

Slow service, table came in afterwards and got their pizza first, waitress put in wrong toppings on my pizza. Fruit fly in my sisters water. Wont be back.
