Easily the best Chinese food in eastern Iowa. The Mongolian beef is their top dish for sure. Do you hate dry beef and raw onions on your Mongolian beef? Then this is the place for you! Do you hate eating the same recycled Asian food no matter which restaurant you go to? Then this is the place for you! To top it off they have an amazing egg drop soup. Its not your typical awful runny slimey garbage, it actually has multiple ingredients like shrimp and various veggies. If youre not into that, I know their other soups are fantastic as well. Now I havent quite explored all of their menu yet, but I have had 0 bad experiences both eating there and take out. I seriously recommend that you try it at least once, you wont regret it.

Lunch prices are a bit higher than Im used to paying. Appetizers I had (egg rolls and fried wontons) were kinda meh, but the main dish (shrimp foo young) was good. Service was very good. Dont know how it compares to the other Chinese restaurants in Muscatine as Ive not yet been to them, I was just passing though and craving Chinese. l definitely wouldnt call it a BAD place, more middle-of-the-road from my overall dining experience. Id be perfectly willing to eat here again without complaint if I were invited by a friend, but otherwise I likely wouldnt choose on my own to eat here again.

If I had been able to give this place 0 stars I surely would have. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and it did not even resemble what I would consider bad Mongolian Beef. It was as if someone boiled some poor beef strips and onions in dirty dish water. Absolutely tasteless. The fried rice as they called it was nothing but white rice with egg stirred into it. Not fried at all. How this place manages to survive is beyond me. Before I would recommend this place to anyone I would suggest to them going to McDonalds and getting 3 day old fish sandwiches. Never again.

Ordered the Mongolian beef and it was slimy. Never in my life have I eaten slimy beef. It was sort of like licking an oil slick. It was horrendous. The chicken tasted like it was fried with very old grease. Lastly, for every part of meat that I was served, it was accompanied with 8 parts of rices, which by the way was very bland and hard. I would recommend staying away and trying out another Asian restaurant.

This will be your first and Last Chinese restaurant that you try....It is the most amazing food!!! I am addicted....Have never been able to eat anyone elses Chinese food since trying this place!!! After you eat here , you will see what you have been missing and never want anyone elses! The egg rolls are awesome and no one can compare. the best I have ever had!

By far the Best Chinese (Cantennse) food you will find. The staff is friendly and the owners are always there working their tails off. The sizzling rice soup not only tastes amazing it makes you feel better if you have a cold or flu. We are so lucky to have such an amazing Chinese restaurant within driving distance (30+mins)

This was my first time eating at Peking, and IM sure its not going to be my last. The food was delicious, the servings were big (more for later!) and the service was fast. The staff there was so welcoming and friendly. What a treasure! Muscatine is lucky to have a Chinese restaurant like this.

What a great place! We are new to Muscatine. Excellent quality food. The egg drop soup is the best Ive had, with lots of shrimp and pork. My wifes Egg Foo Yung was delicious, very flavorful. The ingredients seemed fresh and the decor was nice as well. This will be our regular Chinese place.

Best Chinese food ever!! I drive 45 mins ever few months just to get it!! Spicy Sour soup is amazing and their eggrolls are to die for. Usually when you go to other places theyre mostly cabbage and veggies, not here, lot and lots of meat!! So glad I found this place!!

Man, food is good but that skinny old woman with glasses and stupid short hair is really rude, the waitress that is. What a shame to see a good restraunt with a horrible worker. She makes me NEVER want to go back again. FIRE HER!

Excellent food. The crab rangoon is among the best I have ever tried. Everything is made on site, fresh, and from scratch. Polite and professional wait staff. Beautiful, traditional decor. Clean and inviting restaurant.
