Welcome to the neighborhood! I am so excited for an Asian restaurant to be so close to my home. I live in Lake Hallie, but work in Altoona and the best thing going for Chopsticks this location, location, location! Its smack-dab at the Nexus of our blossoming community, as well as being within either walking distance or a small drive to at least one hotel, a Walmart Supercenter, an Aldi grocery store, Kwik Trip (which has a redbox), and at least two fast food restaurants. Its also close to a major highway which connects the valley and beyond. You can stand virtually anywhere in this section of Lake Hallie and feel you need nothing because you already have it. Its part of a strip mall that includes a fitness center and a place to satisfy gamers of all ages while you get your hair done. I love all manner of Asian food and I also love spicy. The hotter, the better. You cant scare me! I also love the small and quaint, which Chopsticks is. Theres four table settings and at least two high chairs for infants and small children. They have lunch specials for fast ordering, as well as online ordering for even faster pick up! They also have an alphanumeric system for a quick referencing. On the takeout menu, they have a website for viewing an online menu and you can order with credit cards or debit cards. No checks. Even have a spot to scan with your smartphone. I dont want to tell you too much about their menu items because you need to see it for yourself, but they have Udon(stir fry), Kung Pao, Moo goo gai pan, Thai curry, and combo platters. I can already smell the delicious culture inside and I cant wait to warm up and introduce myself. You should too. Chopsticks is here in Lake Hallie is online ordering in a prime spot for local families, area businesses, and travelers passing through looking for a quick fix or sit-down experience thats slightly secluded from the hustle n bustle. Ive never gone to a restaurant on opening day, but I was so excited to try this place, so I placed an online order on their first day. When I went to pick it up, the place was packed! My order hadnt been seen yet, thus wasnt ready. I didnt have time to wait, so I said Id be back in 2 hours. When I went back, they were still really busy and couldnt find my order. When they finally did, they apologized and gave me the meal for free! Very friendly staff, they were working really hard to serve everyone as quickly as possible. As for the food: We ordered the shrimp with lobster sauce, honey chicken combo with pork fried rice and egg roll, chicken Mai Fun, and fried wontons. Everything was delicious! Some of the best wontons Ive had! Honey chicken sauce was amazing, and the chicken was tender and not at all chewy or grisly. My son was thrown off by the shrimp with lobster sauce, as it came in a large container and was the consistency of soup. Not sure if this is normal or not, I dont care for seafood. He said it tasted great though, so Ill take his word for it! We will definitely be back to try more dishes, Im so happy to finally have a quality Chinese restaurant right in my backyard. I hope the business continues to be as popular as it was opening night!

I have never given a review before but I felt compelled to leave feedback for this little Chippewa Valley hidden gem. My gf and I have now eaten here 4 times in the last two months because the food is so good. What really won us over is the Lady at the front desk. Her customer service is the best most heart warming service Ive seen, and every time we leave; we talk about her, and how pleasant she is. As a plus they have these amazing authentic green candies in the front dish. You must try this place. Good food, reasonable prices, and outstanding customer service.

I ordered Chicken Mai fun, and they brought out shrimp Mai fun. When I brought it to their attention they took it back and picked out the shrimp and put a few slices of chicken on top. When we got it back I opneed it up and all I could smell was a fishy shrimp smell. I also ordered sesame chicken and the pieces were burnt and the chicken was like jerkey. Very disapointed. :/

Being a restaurateur and executive chef I dont normally ever post reviews but I have been to chopsticks 3 times now and every time I have been blown away by the service, quality quantity and taste of food.. not to mention the last 2 times they gave us free items. Im glad to say we will be regulars

I visited on their opening day today. I ordered the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables and added cashews. The food was perfectly cooked, delicious and they threw in a free bag of Crab Rangoon...7 pieces! Staff was very polite and friendly! Welcome to the neighborhood, Chopsticks! Ill be back!

Just moved to the area and was upset I had to leave behind my favorite chinese place but after trying this place out near my house I was so relieved. I absolutely love this place. The food is always good and they always have great customer service. So happy to have a new favorite place!

Love the food but it gets busy so be prepared to wait a little longer then they say sometimes . Worth it thought I think . Have eaten here 4 times now some things better then others but defiantly worth a try .
