I am a long time Chelsea resident and am very disappointed in the decline in quality at the Chelsea Uptown Coney Island. Today it took a very long time to be serviced with silverware, water and coffee. I had to go and find my own booster seat for my child. It took forever for the food to come and there were several tables around me with the same issue. The food was cold and we sent back our biscuits and gravy because they were so cold the gravy had jelled. I made a comment at the check out about how they seem to be struggling this morning and the manager who cashed me out was very rude and said that a waitress didnt show up and everyone shows up to eat at the same time. He fails to see that my family arrived WELL before the breakfast rush. I also dont see how one person not showing up effects everything that went wrong. The manager obviously needs more experience in handling difficult situations and also needs to inventory his ability to handle customer relations without being snippy and rude.

As a long time customer of this restaurant, I have recently been extremely disappointed with the service. The wait staff is inexperienced and rude, the management is unapologetic and irresponsible, and the quality of the food is lacking, especially when the staff cannot get your order right. I will not be back. As someone who used to go here weekly, it was extremely disappointing to express my concerns only to be brushed off by the owner.

I have been coming here at least 6 times a month for close to 5 years, and I have NEVER had a bad experience. The waitresses are always friendly and take a moment to chat and laugh. There is usually a manager or owner walking around and he is fantastic at making sure everything is going well, and putting a smile on your face. This is an all around wonderful and delicious place to eat.

This place is unbelievable take my word for it Im picky about food and service. The smothered burrito and French dip are some favorites. Nice people excellent service. If you only have two people and they are busy, expect to wait. Three groups of four walked in, and got sat right away, as we were waiting for 10+ minutes. When I asked why, I got a deer in headlights look. So either there just wasnt enough of us, or they wont seat you in youre in a wheelchair. We will never be back.

Good quality food (we had breakfast), brought to our table while still steaming. Very Large portions- 4 out of 5 stars because there are no smaller, senior sized/priced selections to choose. But for those who want a giant, hot, flavorful breakfast this is a sure bet.

Im a regular for lunch here. Its a friendly, warm environment. The Gyro, and chicken-n-rice soup is always delicious. Breakfast for lunch here is totally a thing. I would bring any of my friends or family here.

Very delicious restaurant in Chelsea Michigan. They do have hot dogs but also a complete menu of wonderful and equally delicious food. The restaurant is in what used to be an old A&W root beer stand.

Pretty good food and good service. The restaurant is very busy during breakfast and lunch, my only nock on the place is that the sausage gravy is not very good, but everything else seems okay.
